@vantee, tym wil tel mayb dere wil b anoda list or not, so stop givin false info cos am aspirant, my faculty wasn't part of d change of cuz list dat was released lst wk, u r now tellin me dat only 36 pple wil b in ma department.... Moreover no1 asked 4 ur opinion.. Miss Lade didn't ask u whether anoda list wil precipitate or not....., so pls let us wait n c mayb anoda list won't b released, mayb u av bin admitd dat's y u're talkin dat way. Mayb

@damsel, i tink so too, cos only 330 sumtin pple were admitted 4 change of cuz, while p.d was 880 n sumtin also, so dere is space to admit more pple................

torres2: my advice for you is to continue processing that of Yabatech and when Eksu is finally done with their second list you can quit cos I believe you will prefer uni admission to that.

Miss Lade: If u can afford it,I'll advice 2 pay d school fees of yabatech..nd if ur name eventually comes out in d 2nd list,if u still wanna go 2 EKSU,u'll leave yabatech nd accept EKSU's admission.. I'm nt so sure if dis still works,bt a close frnd did sumtin lyk dis 2yrs ago,even after matriculating in d 1st school.

@Miss Lade tankz, I'm going to pay d skol fees n await Eksu's 2nd batch, cos i prefer a Univ. to a Polytechnic............ Moreover i don't want to put all ma eggs in 1 basket......but am sure Eksu wil admit me by d special grace of GOD........

torres2: I have searched for this thread. @ eksu updated I can see Eksu resuming on Monday 19th or the follow week because the condition stipulated by the vc the '70% saga' has almost been met. My j.brother went to bank to pay for his acceptance and came back telling me those he met on the queue wanting to pay. Nobody wants to lose his admission and the deadline is 15 nov for the payment. We are keeping all fingers cross expecting Eksu senate to sit this week & decide.



for the list, pls guys still looking up to the list. I think by now the list should have been sent to abuja even though not updated on the school website. Just perform a simple logic by checking your admission status on jamb 2012(just guessing) because went to academic office last week they told me oga travelled to Abuja.

Thorby: The authorities of Ekiti State University have reviewed the reparation fee to be paid by the students of the University following
the destruction of properties in the institution recently.
Following the pleas from students, parents, guardians and well meaning citizens of the country, the reparation fee to be paid by students has been reviewed downward to six thousand five hundred naira (N6,500.00), instead of ten thousand five hundred naira (N10,500.00) earlier announced.
According to statement signed by the Deputy Registrar Information and Public Relations, Ajibade Olubunmi, the University has also decided that pre-degree students and students of the University who are on Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) for the second semester of 2011/2012 are excluded from thepayment of the reparation fee.
Payments are to be made to designated banks nationwide as earlier announced in the dailies. Students are advised to comply with this directive and keep away from the University premises untilfurther notice.
The Senate of the University will meet to decide the resumption date.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Oladipo Aina has appealed to
students to remain calm as effortsare being made to bring normalcyto
the University academic activities. The deadline for the payment is now Friday, 26th October, 2012.

So when will dey resume and wen will 2nd batch be released?

Miss Lade: It shld be 4 pple who changed,nd few additions 2 courses(4 pple dt didn't change). Wat I'm really sure of is,in all schools,after screening of new students,dey give sum few lucky students admission(mostly d spaces 4 pple who didn't accept d admission offer). Dts wat sum school call their supplementary list.. So even if there is no oda list after 2nd list,dere will be few additions afta reg/screening.

I'm really disappointed wif d news dat d skol av bin closed down, it also pains me dat ma future skol is bin closed down due to cultist's protest., also not hapi becos d close down wil delay d 2nd batch n d skol exams.
