It is very disgraceful of our gov’t to keep mute over such monumental insult on our sovereignty. A country’s embassy is an extension of that country’s territory. For God’s sake, it is equivalent to Ghanaian demolishing Aso Rock. If we are serious over our image as a sovereign State, we ought to at least demand that Ghana arrest and handover the man to us for prosecution since our High Commission is Nigerian territory and outside the jurisdiction of Ghanaian authority. |
In as much as I think that Mr. Innocent and Innoson Motors should be magnanimous in victory, I think it is time am example is made of someone so that this rubbish of rushing to the press to tarnish the image and reputation of people by us will stop. We should be sure of our facts and figures before opening our mouths. Because Nigerians are very gullible people. We are prone to believe anything we see on the pages of newspaper and other media. And when we are called upon to defend ourselves and present our facts, we start claiming foul play. It is time we stop that sort of trash. If you can't defend your accusations with concrete evidence , then shut the heel up. |
It is not about the course you studied but what you can offer to prospective employer. I studied philosophy and I don't regret it one bit even though I never intended to study the course in the first instant. I have worked in Administration and Human Resource. Go for professional certification. Am currently Head of Operations in a Logistics company. No single course will guarantee success even medicine or law unless you don't aspire to rise to the top of your profession. I have my masters and intend to pursue my PhD. I also have professional certification in Admin and HR. Make yourself employable because it is what you can offer that company hire you for not what you studied. As a HR practitioner, I can tell you that in most instances, what you studied does not matter when organisations are looking for the best. |
God has been good to Anambra state. we have had govorners with vision and mission starting with Ngigi. each always better than the last. this partnership with the church started with Peter obi. and it has really been beneficial to the state. that is the reason for the giant strides in education and health. I worked with Fatimah catholic hospital in awka-etiti and the people can testify as to the sucess recorded by the hospital since the church fully took control of hospital in 2009. we hope and pray that other state government should emulate Anambra and not wait for federal government for every thing. I remember the road in my place is a federal road but it was constructed by the state government under Peter obi. kudos to obiano for continuing d good work and not engaging in petty politics like his neighbours |
the most important question here is not whether PMB is entitled to d SUVs or not. the big question is whether Dasuki replaced them from arms deal money. if he did, then our president has a case to answer since dokpesi, thisday, and others that were paid from arms moni for services they rendered are said to hv a case against them. we should not be sentimental here. if we all agree that anybody who receive moni from dasuki from the arms moni is guilty, then if d president did so, he is guilty of corruption as others. we cannot have one law for some and different laws for others based on same fact. not if we really mean this fight against corruption. |
Our tactical approve to d game is wrong. I hv always said, our coaching crew is tactical inept. D whole team setup is wrong. Three defensive minded midfielders and yet they seem not to knw what to do. Either Emenike or Ike uche should be pulled. Two or dem can't play together. Omeruo should be pulled and Efe shifted to central defensive and Onazi moved to d right back. |
That he was relieved of his duties for proper investigation to be carried doesn't in any way mean he was guilty. U can't be a judge in ur own case so he had to live so as not to compromise d investigation. I don't understand why educated nigerians in quote can't reason with out bias. If he is cleared at d national assembly with out dis issue cropping up, it means he was not indicted period. For once let us stop calling a dog a bad name just to hang it. Pls don't let ur love or hatred for d opposition or d govt of d day becloud ur sense of reasoning and stop portraying an average nigerian as lacking in logical reasoning. |
Guy I feel u. It is a bad spot 2 be in. But like some one said tell her hw u feel. It will go a long |
Every relationship is and shud be seen as a personal responsibility cos relationship is like an empty jar. Wat u get out of it is proportionate 2 wat u put in it. |
first of all, i dont rily like commenting on this forum cos most people here are very myopic in reasoning. very thing is trivialized and "tribalised". the problem with aviation sector did not start wit stella and will most definitely not end wit her. investigation is ongoing,we shud wait for the investigation to be concluded b4 we crucify her. for those who dont know, stella is a billionaire b4 she eva got govt appointment. all the mentioned project were executed way b4 she became a minister. she is no worse than farouk lawal, iyabo obasanjo, bukola saraki, demeji bankole, alameyeseyia, fani kayode, onyiauke ebere, etc. if she is guilt, she shud be prosecuted but until then let us allow her be. we did tell her not to accept that appointment cos she does not need. she will just be rubbished. please let us remove sentiment and nepotism from issues of national discuss. |
Agreed it distort d aesthetic nature of d environment but I think d first thing d govt should hv done is 2 do sumtin abt those ancient houses dat doesn't hv a backyard. Where will people living in such building dry their cloth. Sometimes Fashola plays wit d gudwill of lagosian. It is gud 2 aspire 2 be like d advanced countries but we must put basic amenities in place. Let us solve d press issues first then we will nt nid a promulgation 2 tell people what is gud or bad. Most people dry clothes on d fences for lack of alternatives. |
My problem is nt rily wit madam first lady, but wit her staff. Aren't they paid 2 advice her? pls sumbody shud tell her 2 read Robert Green' 48 laws of power especially laws; 3, 4, 7, 14, 16, 22, 26, 35. She talks 2 much. Let withdraw 4rm circulation b4 she does more harm 2 her husband |
