franchasofficia: I do not hate anybody, but I won't deny the fact that I dislike Tinubu's way of life and leadership.
Tinubu's lifestyle can never allow communal prosperity. Tinubu is a sectional leader, a close minded kind of person, he has wrong orientation and foundation. A sectional leader can never be a national leader.
Tinubu is selfish, and have this mindset of winner takes it all, such a person can never lead any nation to communal progress no matter how good he may be because his close minded nature wont allow him to give others outside his clan the opportunity to showcase their own skill, talent and expertise.
This is what makes Obasanjo far better than Tinubu. Obasanjo understood the weakness of every Nigerian tribe and he carefully assembled his cabinet and team bearing this in mind and his regime flourished despite corruption allegations which is common with black leaderships.
Goodluck did same and his regime prospered economically before APC used the evolving Boko Haram insecurity to disorganize Goodluck's regime.
I stand by my words, Yorubas are not good in economy, trade, business and entrepreneurship matters, they have their area of expertise which is in media propaganda which helps them to excel in Nigerian style politics, and they are also good in entertainment.
This does not mean that there are no good economists or entrepreneurs among Yorubas, of course talent abound everywhere and in all tribes and races but there are people naturally gifted in certain things and once you put them in charge of that area they have natural prowess they excel more than others who learned their own.
Even The Holy Bible recognized this God recognized this, reason God gave each of the 12 tribes of Israel their own special gifts and area of expertise.
The Levites were the natural Spiritual Leaders.
The Judah were the Kings
There were the Warrior tribes, the Traders, etc.
But Tinubu foolishly believes Yorubas are the best in everything and look at how messed up his government is, turning Nigeria to a global job and the headquarters of poverty, hardship and insecurity just because he foolishly made Yorubas heads of virtually all government agencies, ministries and parastatals and yet you Yorubas applaud him and think he is doing you guys good Stop being sentimental, Yoruba is ahead of others because they are first to be exposed to Western education and this build a solid foundation for their acumen in business creation and management. Most of these including banking, shipping and I.T etc. As per Tinubu, he is a political genius who worked his way to the top through alliances built over many years across major political parties. In terms of appointment, do you expect him to appoint people from a tribe who openly display their hatred to him during the elections to power |

franchasofficia: Awolowo style of welfarism leadership worked back then because we were in the formative era, it would fail woefully today. It is what Tinubu has been trying to replicate today not knowing that such era of welfarism is over. That is why every little thing Tinubu starts sharing rice and other forms of palliatives.
The world has gone past palliative system or welfarism system of government.
What we need is a capitalist style of government that will inspire wealth creation, business startups and massive healthy competition. It is after we have built and amassed wealth that we can revert back to welfarism government to distribute the wealth.
Right now, we need a government that will pioneer and inspire more businesses, investments and startups. We don't even need to copy Oyimbo in taxing ourselves to poverty like Tinubu is known for, we need to do everything possible to attract massive investment and inspire new business startups and one way to do them is to relax company and small business tax, reduced interest rate for business startup loans, improved power/electricity, improved national security to give investors confidence to come in and improved FOREX.
Yorubas are not good in all these, they are better in media propaganda and entertainment This your concluding statement denigrating Yoruba is false, and it is borne out hatred for Tinubu Sentiment apart, if you look at the Nigerian Business Directory, majority of the CEO of blue ship companies are Yorubas. Tinubu that you hated with passion is doing what you listed above to attract investors and improve our GDP. If you notice imports are being discouraged to make sure export improves. |

franchasofficia: Obi invested Anambra money in a business he knows have a future that was also employing lots of Anambra people.
It is far better than looting the money using political fronts and take the money abroad to develop oyimbo country.
Peter Obi is the only man that can savage Nigeria and give it a good start to a better future
Others are just conscience less criminals, especially Tinubu.
Tinubu is a born thug and criminal without conscience, nothing good can from Tinubu even if he rules for 100 years.
Give Obi just one year and watch how Nigerians in Diaspora alone will be confident in investing their billions back in Nigeria would transform Nigeria for good.
Yoruba people are not good in leadership, they are very good in propaganda and party.
Give Yorubas Media houses to manage and they will excel.
Give Yorubas musical and entertainment to manage, they will excell but when it comes to business, trade, economy, let the Igbos lead.
Hausa-Fulanis are good in security if they remove Islamic religious sentiment and madness from their job.
Nigerians should continue playing with their destiny and future. Peter Obi is a God ordained man to help Nigeria get on the right track and if Nigeria miss this opportunity, it is an opari abi otilo for Nigeria and Nigerians.
Tinubu is a voodoo worshipping criminal, he can't bring positive change with his negative spirit and the voodoo he worships. Those expecting good things from Tinubu are wasting time. His allegiance is to the voodoo powers he has been using, nothing more or less You are a very dull student of history for typing the bolded. During the regional government, Awolowo style of leadership override all other leaders from other regions and the result you are seeing today in terms of trade and finance in SW and others are attracted to this success |

One Brigadier Ola Oni from Ekiti was the one in charge of allocation of those universities. 4 places were suggested in the old Ondo State namely, Ekiti West(where Brig. Ola Oni hailed from), Ikare Akoko and Okiti Pupa(both now in present Ondo state) and Saki in Oyo. But Obj hijacked it.
OBJ, a retired General said Abeokuta should be considered but without giving any reasons. This caused a lot of rancor among the the generals but because of the respect IBB had for Obj and his influence in the NA, Fed. Uni Agric was cited in abeokuta . This is from an authentic source, with documented evidence. You should have said he lobbied for citing the university in Abeokuta, but Babangida created it |
Politics › Re: Youths Protest In Ido-Osun Against The Relocation Of Airport To Ede (Video) by Gboom: 1:39pm On Nov 26, 2024 |
Eriokanmi: Nothing new here. That's the way Nigerian politicians behave. Jonathan cited a fed university in his hometown of otuoke, obj cited a university of agriculture in abeokuta instead of doing same in the agrarian community in the state. Buhari did same with several federal institutions cited in daura. Now, tinubu is doing same by citing a federal university of agriculture in his hometown of Iragbiji. It's almost perfected as we speak. Only Peter Obi had nothing of such in his home town.
To those claiming tinubu is from our state despite the obvious, you're the most fooolish beings ever lived. Slavery is in your blood, if you trace your generations very well, youd agree with me on this. She should sit down at home, no be by force to do warehouse job as it is a deal-breaker for her.
Such jobs should be seen as transition jobs as you find your feet in the UK.
I picked parcels at DHL, also packed bananas and pineapples at Fyffes Bananas before moving to psychology roles during my student days. I was humbled when I got paired on shifts with a female Indian Paediatrician who also came to the UK through the study route, as we both packed pineapples and bananas, she shared how she worked in a big Paediatric facility back in India but decided making the move to the UK with her husband and kids was the best decision. Today, she works at Great Ormond Street Hospital London, that is one of the top five children’s hospitals in the world while I now work for a London borough as a Clinical Practitioner for the Children social care. Dr, UK is only meant for professional immigrant like you because you will not struggle for years unlike nonprofessional who will have to struggle for years before finding their feet.
