i am not a Lawyer but i know that in law , whoever can prove a case beyond reasonable doubt wins the case. So if you have a case and don't hire a Lawyer or a good one, simply because you are innocent and your opponent proves to the court beyond reasonal doubt then you are in for whatever the consequences are
