Im an aspirant, and i was also scared abt choosing medicine becos i felt i dnt av enuf time to prepare, but the advice i got on here was really gud and helpful, and everyday my hope increases, the only modification i made during my jamb registration was change of institution frm Uniben to AAU (becos my o'level's at 2 sitting and AAU seem to recieve way less applicant for mbbs than uniben.. Just strategy bro) But if u really want it, then u shud study like ur life depends on it..

Merit quota is more than 92 percent.
Transparent to the core 137 were picked on merit out of a total no of 147.

For every 10people move from a good course to bad course...1 person is moved from a bad course to good course(its not an official figure but you get the logic?)

The vc was angry with the admission process
Most of the ppl that got admission to some courses..had less than the required cut-off for those course.. the vc cant cancel their admission so he Ordered that they move dem to stupid courses...
And they're also moving people with good scores from the stupid courses to better courses...
So as to free up quota's for the second list candidates

Lol, the entire news we've been hearing from VC and others are lies, lies upon lies. The school cannot commence lectures without the 2nd list lol, 70% has been admitted lol. I can't really remember if I've ever given a middle finger, I'm not even happy that I have to do it, but I have no choice, there's always a 1st time! Slot....he left his number there or u shud come to admin section to ask for hi.m....whuch pple are already bargaining wit him buh if dis is true....I pray to God to get us admitted in dis 2nd batch admission list with desired course....it hasn't been easy from the on-set.......oh lord don't let us wait,labour in vain.......all hopes on u God.....I know there is nothing u can't do......no man is capable to do what u are capable of

blood grouping and genotype ain't difficult procedures, all they need are d electrophoresis machine nd blood group antisera. Since they are Science lab Students, then they may carry them out in labs.
But they will have their restriction in medical investigations anyway. Medical investigations electrolytes profile, serum creatinine, urea etc, liver function test and some others are advanced which they are not likely to touch even full blood count with differentials...
In short there are many medical investigations from chemical pathology to hematology, microbiology then histopathology.
They can only be exposed to only the simple few in both their OND nd even HND programs. Even d medical lab scientists specialize in just one of d four listed above.
