Last year, we were tested on math and english with 30 questions from each section. The math was not difficult at all, comprising charts(pie,bar and the likes), statistics, and simple secondary arithmetic. The english was the normal lexis and structure,synonyms, antonyms and passages(like three or so) to answer questions from. My advice for you,don't waste your time on the passages try answering questions that won't take your time first and in your math,try to scroll forwards to check the questions at the later part,you might want to start from the back, they most times put the easiest questions at the later end, be smart. Best of luck.

It was hard, very hard. When I wrote Olams's Dragnet test in July, I thought I failed, but I passed and they got back to me.

But this one, I am 1000% sure I failed. It was horrible.

And the nasty thing is that 70% of the questions were all these questions that are in Dragnet past questions and answers. Maybe more than 70%. I just did not read.

Anyway If you have not written, please look for dragnet past questions and read, or indicate, and I can email them for you.

My passion fr medicine started from my jss3 d day i watched ben carsons gifted hands ..ever since then av been inquisitive and fascinated purely by the human body,medical processes,surgical processes e.t.c just thinking of all this pumps adrenalin tru my veins i dnt gv a shit of d name or the pay
All i knw is i love everything about it just imagine d smile dat will be on yur face after a successful surgical operation ever since av fallen fr biology as a course and health related courses

heres my story thats been giving me sleepless nights and depression finished 2017 scored 235 but i was scared my score was low so i changed to biochemistry i wrote jamb dis yr got 241 and was not admitted to pharmacy now am thinking of applying 2019 and a thousand more if am not giving medicine or pharmacy
My love for pharmacy and medicine is endless
I have no joy at all in biochem
Now am having peer pressure against my choices and telling me time is wasting and all that bullshit at first i dnt actually listen but now dey are starting to get to me i turned 17 this yr
And am studying biochem at a university of technology so nothing like changing from one department
I need ur advice

I guess you just have passion for medical field
You have to b specific about your goals in life.
And I think it's high time I speak about this to every aspirant ...
Okay ,what's the basis of your passion really?
Is it to save lifes?
Is the monetary aspect?
Is it that you want to b respected for being a doctor or wareva?
Is it the pressure from home?
OR you want to prove to people that have underated you?
Truth be told ,many people are deluded about medical ambitions. You need to have at least one solid reason for going for what you're going for not vague and ending reasons.
I won't tell you the best reasons because inside of you ,you know the reasons that can't fail you along the way .For you to survive as a medical student or medical practioner without lamenting on minor hurdles you may face along way ,your reason for starting the journey must be solid enough to fall back on when little challenges arise.

Mingle with people of different set,collate and aquire experiences + orientations ,thou don't allow them to influence you negatively and know what you're doing .
Study very well ,socialize within your leisure time and save your money starting from your 100l days.

The Scores are extremely important. You need it to get a very good placement especially if you are going for something very competitive. Also, your grades in your medical school are also important. Aim for the best scores only take the exam when you are fully prepared.

Note that only Step 1 & Step 2Ck are scored. Step 2CS & Step 3 are both Pass/Fail. So it is extremely important you get a very high score in Step 1 & Step 2 CK.

must you work in the hospital? ,most medical aspirants are suffering from this delusion ,they sha want to be in the hospital. Some don't even mind sweepingthe Hosp ,having a steth and b called a doctor (that's stupid anyway but some don't mind)
I won't lie to you,if your passion is to be a medical practioner ,go for MBBS. If you think you can't get them based on the high cutoff to study it
