Gracefilled01: I focused on the second scripture because it happened to fall within my Bible study area since last week.
Please note that not every fake or deceptive doctrines, churches or teachers will be destroyed, some will make it to the last day. Evil will still persist alongside good, until God’s final judgment comes, this is what Christ was trying to teach in Matthew 13: 24-30. Shalom. Pope Leo is the 267th Pope. Most congregations will not survive the demise of their founders. Haven said that, Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12. The Catholic Church is not the problem, the battle is to be saved on the Last day. Peace be with you. |

Gracefilled01: Stop quoting scriptures out of context to support your narrative. Read the scripture in-depth to understand.
In the second scripture you quoted, Acts 5: 38-39, the scribes, Sadducees and some others gathered to threaten the apostles to stop preaching the gospel. This is after they have successfully killed Stephen, but still could not deter the rest of the apostles from carrying on with the gospel. So as usual, they arrested and threatened them, but one of them, a man named Gamaliel asked that the apostles should be left alone to continue their mission, that if they're not of God, they will fail on their own. The same way you feel about the Catholic Church. But it has survived these for many centuries. You skipped the first scripture just to find something against my writeup . There must be something about the Catholic church, don't you think? The gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18 |

jesusjnr2020: 10 Things Catholics Do That The Apostles Didn't
1. The apostles didn't pray to Mary. 2. They didn't pray to the dead. 3. They didn't do satanic processions. 4. They didn't go to mass. 5. Scapular. 6. Infant baptism. 7. They didn't believe in purgatory. 8. They didn't use holy water. 9. They didn't call Peter a pope. 10. They didn't bow down or worship idols.
So where did the Catholic church get these practices from?
Certainly not from the apostles or the early church.
God bless. John 21:25 KJV And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.Acts 5:38-39 KJV And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: but if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. |

NUHUUSMAN: The MEDIA should endeavor to notify our political parties and Presidential aspirant the conditions and problems of the country before election and their readiness to face and fix the challenge among which are: • The country huge dept. (loan) • The security challenges • The corruption as a result of poor governance • The bad road network • Like of expansion for job opportunity • Poor educational system • Like of Agricultural plan to elevate starvation • Power instability
After election the winner or the party usually blame the previous government as if he is not aware of the problems before coming to power. Best post of the year |

DaBogu: I am going to share my experience as a recruiter, hiring executive assistants for several clients. Some may not like what I have to say, but I can only speak my truth.
Do we have a major youth unemployment problem in Nigeria, yes we do. While there is a challenge of not enough positions aligned with educated youths, as a recruiter I have seen there is a portion of the youth that is not serious about employment. Almost a sense of entitlement.
Many Nigerian youths have access to data and social media. That is how people find me and apply to jobs. I would think during your idle time, you would take time and teach yourself new skills and level up. Unfortunately this is not the case for many candidates I interview.
Let's say I have 10 candidates that I want to interview. Only 5 of them will respond to my initial interview. The other 5 candidates never respond.
Out of the 5 candidates that respond to my email, only three of them will be able to demonstrate knowledge of excel and PowerPoint.
Once I meet them in person, two candidates will call me the day of the interview with one long story basically saying they can not come to the interview, and only one candidate will actually be ready to present to a candidate.
After going to this process over and over again, I have started to ask myself is it worth it? I want to help more Nigerians get jobs, but it's clear to me overall we are not serious. ver 400 resumes I have for EA positions, only 50 resumes have been presentable to clients.
Nigerian youths if there is not anything else you get out of my message, you need to level up. The Nigerian education system is not preparing you for the workforce. Start teaching yourself basic etiquette of how to apply for a job and the interview process.
Stop sending emails with no subject title or body in the email. Then you attach your resume and expecting a positive response.
Stop embellishing your resume, only to find your are not anything close to what your resume presents.
Do not put a number on a resume that will be hard for a recruiter to reach you.
And finally, if you applied to a position you should be in your inbox more than social media. I can not tell you how many times I get an email from a candidate a week later saying they are just now seeing my email. This is the cold hard truth. As much as I want to help Nigerian youths. Many of us are not prepared for employment. I have 3 years help desk/IT Support. Very adaptable and learns very fast. I won't disappoint and given a chance. |

lexy2014: All d agencies that require biometric data have their individual central databases which stores all d data they acquire allover d country. So its not possible to have more than one PVC. So u are very wrong about that. Drivers license isn't based on state whatever that means. U are peddling a lot of wrong information. If d most cases of duplication are now with banks, then what was BVN meant 2 achieve? No matter d amount of bank accounts u open, they must all b linked 2 one BVN irrespective of d bank u open d accounts. So ur story is a distortion of d facts on ground. Whether it is like social security number or not doesn't bother me. Its d benefits am interested which so far u& d author haven't been able to itemise. In d end, d real duplication is NIN Seems you've made up your mind on what to believe. It's not hear say, I've seen one person with up to 3 PVCs. You may visit their website for more information. I rest my case |

lexy2014: Earlier, u said people can have multiple PVCs and drivers licences. How's that possible? How does it mean "that I can be John with Immigration, David with INEC, Paul with FRSC, Aminu with the NCC etc"? Before now, these Agencies had no central database. Voters card for instance was based on polling units. That is to say, I could successfully register in different polling units and acquire different PVCs, Drivers license too had been based on states. One can bear different names in these different agencies because they all have and maintain different databases resident in their respective agencies. To eliminate this, there has to be a central system to avoid duplication. The most common cases now are with the banks. Someone having different names in the bank, school certificates and national ID. Just look at the NIN as Social Security Number in other countries |

lexy2014: Oga how can u have as many PVCs& drivers licenses as possible when they take ur biometrics b4 issuance? PVC is 4 voting. Drivers license is 4 driving&international passport 4 travelling. What do they all have in common? They are all means of identification. When u go 2 ur polling booth, ur PVC identifies u as a registered&eligible voter. Ur drivers license just like ur passport has all ur biodata. Ur drivers license even goes further by adding ur blood group. Passports aren't just 4 travelling but are a means of identifying u if&when u leave d country. 4d fact that they were issued 4 specific purposes, doesn't exempt them from being means of identification. They are referred to as "government issued means of identification". They are very reliable, hence banks still and would always rely on them. So d NIMC isn't d "only source of identification by law" What that means is that I can be John with Immigration, David with INEC, Paul with FRSC, Aminu with the NCC etc. NIMC is bringing all these together. That is why henceforth, you will have to present your NIN to any of these agencies to enjoy their services. The information collected will be used by government for planning purpose and these will benefit the citizens right? I'm not saying when you want to buy something worth #50, you will ask for NIN. There are transactions that you would have to know the person you are dealing with. And you don't have to ask anyone for his/her NIN. You don't expose your NIN to just anyone for security reasons. You can't even bring another person's NIN to be checked. Both parties must have to visit the office for that to be done |

lexy2014: When u said more, I was expecting more. Not just one point. What exactly are u authenticating & verifying that haven't been authenticated&verified b4? How's this special? Isn't it d same security features PVC, drivers license&international passport have? We both know that you can have as many PVCs and drivers Licence that you want. Besides that every country has it's identity system. The PVC is for voting, the Drivers licence for drivers, the international passport for travels. The only source of identification by law is NIMC |

lexy2014: These are clearly not benefits cos d question is benefits 4 who? Going by what u have written, d NIN serves no purpose I see where you're coming from, as the benefits enumerated are mostly to Nigeria as an entity. But I'm sure you wouldn't want to deal with or make transactions with a ghost. Those are the cases that cause 419. The NIN will let you know the person is who he/she claim to be |

I'm sure the bank has never asked you to present your BVN card. Many persons are not even aware there's a BVN card |
