Nigerians could be described as d only people hu jam thier ear drums and stereo sets with 'ear stinging lyrics'(that's how i see it),from our known celebs inda industry, let's Explore......
THE BAD....(THE GUILTY)
1.SOUND SULTAN:'Natural something'
abeg guys tel me,how can u bear spendn all ur hard earned cash on a Lady, she then runs away with anoda man,and u dnt give a damn, huh
confessing u are ready to be a mugu to her for life??(chai wen ah meditated on ds lyrics ehnn!!)..well this one topped ma list cos am so hating it.

2.WIZKID:'ON MA BED'
from time immemorial, our little kid (WizKid) has been blabbing! (speakn frm a personal view,ah knw he has die hard fans)...
wat lesson or better still meaning does dat track pass out??sounds more of like a nursery rhyme to me.who doesn't know he fvcks dem ladies like its nothn??
Advice dt young man to gt a complete Education, grab a globally recognised cert. and do something with his life!

3.DAVIDO: 'OMO MOMMY'
THIS TRACK SUCKED!!
PLs cn someone tel me how many days this track survived on air??well i just felt our man(David Adekele) just wanted to add trash to his pedigree(record)...

4.BANKY-W 'PON D THING ft sarkodie'
The vidoe and song was simply a display of indecency, lack of creativity.
Ladies in provoking briefs, notn new, notn meaningful..

5.SLIM BROWN: 'OPASA'
when ever this song is played,i feel restive,my tummy gets into knots, countenance surprisingly gets changed.
The artist made cash outta if,tru buh this. Song remains to me,a turn off,(a miss)...only portrays d shallow mindedness of the. singer.
Consoling,anyway...its the set of of "dance to the beat, and forget the lyrics" group of people dat listen and wriggle their bodies to the tune of d song...
#NotMyType..

His point? He doesn't have respect for elders, he can't greet and he is trying to find an excuse for his unruly behavior.
.
Absolutely a wrong notion u gat here bro....

mutter:
Poster you should have first greeted us before you started writing other things here!

Greeting is a form of showing respect and acknowledging the other person.
You should insist on your friends showing the utmost respect for your parents. If they do not respect their parents then they also do not respect you.
Anyone who does not greet someone does not have enough regard for that person. Imagine a lecturer or popular musician star where to appear- your friend would struggle to greet him/her.
In the same vein- you do not respect your parents otherwise you would not be asking such a question.
In the good old days we would run to greet our friends parents bending or kneeling and would be so glad to receive a response and a smile for them.
This world is coming to an end. sad
O.M.G...u gettn it wrng here........hey. it's just an observation, just wantd to hear frm u guys,..

EfemenaXY:
But you are funny sha.

These are people you know, not some random stranger you pass on the street. Of course if the latter were the case, no one would expect you to greet every single one of them. Even crazy people won't do that.

But to go visiting a friend and you see his/her parents in their home and you need to be reminded to greet them?? Come on.

Don't you feel odd if you don't? And yes, it's all about manners and upbringing.
grin....true..(nodding ma head)

well,i think this situation is strongly defined/evident with the African parents.......

Why do African parents see any young(younger individual) boy/girl, who passes by them without a "good morning sir/ma,or"good afternoon",judging frm d tym of d day,as an entirely irresponsible child,or untrained individualhuh
This surprises me alot, whenever a frnd of mine comes visiting, i always remind him or her to gv ma dad or mum a greeting,or whenever we strol down d streets, and mum shows up, i will be like."guy, mumsi de drink ur "goodmornn greetn oo,mk sure u greet her"(fr ma mind tho),wen they fail to do so,i knw i have series of questions frm mum to gv answers wen i return....

what's your view on this,friends...

WebmastersA Nairalander In Need Of Clarification. by Geenickel(op): 10:24am On Dec 16, 2014
I've being on this forum for a couple of months now, but there are few goings here that i don't fully understand, let's look at these:

FOLLOWING A TOPIC/THREAD.
below every new thread, the 'reply',numbered, and 'follow' option are seen.My confusion lies on the significance of following a thread/topic.
please wt does following a topic entails?

FOLLOWING A USER.
When the profile of some n.landers are viewed, below 'FILLOWING' sub. there is a galaxy of monikers(names)which i believe are nlanders too,so s there anything unique about following a user?can it be likened to follown someone on twitter?

ATTACHING SIMILES TO COMMENTS THREADS.
This problem has discouraged me from using similes wen eva i comment or post a thread.
Whenever i type a comment, and decide to attach a simile to it,my comment becomes duplicates before d simile is seen below, dunno if its cos i access nairaland tru d web and not tru d application. Please help me wt dese.

*What's the minimum number of comments dt can make a thread hit d front page?

THANKS in anticipation for your help, friends.
