Almost everyone is talking about Affiliate Marketing today. It is actually one of the easiest ways to make money if you really know how to go about it. How does Affiliate Marketing work? This is Affiliate Marketing: Mr. A has an online course on E-commerce. It is worth ₦50,000. Mrs. B has people in her office who are interested in learning E-commerce, and she recommends Mr. A's training to them. They agree that Mrs B is entitled to 50% of the course registration fee (i.e ₦25,000), for whoever she recommends to take the course. Mrs. B gets 10 recommendations in a week, and is paid ₦250,000 by Mr. A. That's exactly how Affiliate Marketing works. It is something you do every day, just that you do not get paid for it, and you do not pay attention to it. It is recommending helpful products to people who need them, and can afford them. These are the 5 basic things you need to start Affiliate Marketing in Nigeria 1. Determination The first thing has to be something intangible. You want to set your mind to do this, and do it well. You must be determined to learn, earn, connect with people and make progress. 2. Smart phone with Internet Connection Every basic process of Affiliate marketing can be concluded on phone now. You could earn enough to buy yourself a laptop if you want. 3. Start-up Capital This capital is basically for investing in knowledge, for yourself and for signing up on your preferred Affiliate Marketing Platform. You really want to start Affiliate Marketing on the foundations of a proper training. Also, some Affiliate Marketing Platforms require that you pay an amount to sign up to have access to their products. You could budget ₦40,000 to ₦50,000 for this. 4. Discipline and Consistency Results in Affiliate Marketing do not happen by magic. There would be some level of discipline and consistency on your part, to show up of everything you have to do to achieve results. 5. Bank Account Oh. Why did this make the list? You definitely want to have an account number linked to your Affiliate Marketing dashboard where you will receive those credit alerts for a job well-done.
