29,000 people in 36 countries were interviewed by Durex, the condom manufacturer. They found that the following people were the most likely to cheat and commit adultery. All in all, 50-65% of husbands and 40-55% of wives have an affair before they are 40.

1. Nigerian women:

62% of Nigerian women are unfaithful. Recently Major Chitsiko, a soldier, committed suicide after his wife cheated on him. The couple was estranged. Also in November 20011, Erelu Tola Solomon, a social elite in Lagos and Abuja, decided to ruin her 25 year marriage after having s333x with a Lagos businessman.

2. Thai women:

59% of women living in Thailand admitted to cheating on their husbands. The rules seem more relaxed in Thailand than they are in the West. Many husbands even allow their wives to commit adultery.

3. British women:

A UNLV article on infidelity and extramarital affairs noted that Britain have cases at a rate of 42%, The country experiences a high rate of women cheating.

4. Malaysian women:

33% of Malaysians are known to cheat. 39% of the Malaysian women, in particular, are known to betray their marriage vows. It was also revealed that Malaysian men have on average 3 s333x partners.

5. Russian women:

33% of Russian women are known to be cheaters. Interestingly enough, the adulterer is not the one to blame in Russia. The finger points towards the person who kindles the affair. The fingers also point to women and that has been a century old tradition for 100s of years.

6. Singaporean women:

Durex also established that 19% of women in Singapore are known to be unfaithful. Singapore men are known to have up to 16 s334x partners, which explains why the country has 19% unfaithful women.

Women in France are 16.3% likely to commit adultery. Men are 22% likely. A Huffington Post article believes that France makes adultery mandatory – 93% of the population is committing it.

8. American women:

14% of married women in Italy admitted to having an affair once during their married life. 54% of the married men did not know about their spouses extramarital activities. This comes in a society where 50% believe that adultery is morally wrong. Interestingly enough 61% of Americans believe that adultery should not be a crime.

9. Italian women:

The judicial system in Italy has decriminalized adultery for married women. Women now can lie about having an affair to protect their honor.

10. Indian women:

Indian Women are also known to be adulterous. Adultery is considered as a crime and is placed under Chapter XX, which deals with offenses relating to the sacrament of marriage. As per the Indian jurisdiction, the law related to adultery is mentioned under Section 497 of the Indian penal code. Section 498 of the Indian penal code also states the law related to adultery.

my aim was not for my children to bear my last name,it is for everyone to use whatever last name we want. we have that freedom and I focused on ladies last name after marriage. I know some guys that bear their mothers last name, too much emphasis is being put on a female's last name after marriage. I say everyone is free to do what they want and keeping ones last name shouldn't be frowned upon.

assuming my name is Olu funmi,it has been like that for so many years. I met my heart rob,got married then I become Ade-Olu funmi. I can be from a home that has only females as children,I also want to carry on my father's name and the honour that comes with bearing the name. just because am getting married to another man doesn't mean I should forget the one that gave birth to me (cos two people make a baby). so holding on to one's last name after marriage is not wrong and a grown ass man who loves his wife would accept. only the proud ones will refuse.

the history of maiden name retention after marriage is steeped in feminism and has caused many a good woman a loss of face.


now,you say you want to retain your fathers name after marriage but you forget that if your mother had kept her maiden name,you'll be faced with a challenge as to how to deal with three names(your father's,your mother's and your husband's) . imagine if four generations down the line adopts this method,imagine how cumbersome a name will become all in the name of feminism;


also,what if your kids keep only their father's name,as is expected of them,won't your aim have been defeated?

and where exactly is a woman's place. and its not like as if the woman won't bear her husband's name,she will but she will also keep her last name. there is no law that says a woman shouldn't retain her last name or anything wrong with that. supposing my last name is a respectable name,that people know me as and recognize me through it. I can't just drop it like DAT,why r u guys making such a big deal out of it.

why do you want to keep your father's name when you get married? what's the rationale?tell us. maybe,just maybe you could make us see things your way.

It's an automatic right once married....and it's recognised in the different types of marriage whether by Act or by Customs. Conjugal consent is innate in a marriage consent. To hold otherwise will amount to a subversion of the tenets of marriage.

i think we're saying the same thing here. but my point is this: in as much as marriage confers on a couple an unreserved access to each others body as a right on conjugal matters,it is surely civilized (for a man) to request such conjugal duties,of his spouse,through a humane approach.hence my use of the phrase, "tacit conjugal consent"

There isn't any fun in forcing one's wife for sure.... but if you put restrictions to marital sex then you will have to modify the conjugal rights in marriage to exclude sexual relationship or qualify it by insisting that the consent of the other party must be sought and obtained .

But it's good for all men to know when the time is right for sex. Or know the easiest way of turning the wife on.

The emphasis here is on those words in bracket. At worst, a husband can b charged for sexual assault on his wife and not rape.

i believe the word you intended using is "reveal". that said,a bank may reveal your account statement to a third party only if compelled to do so by a competent court of law. the account in question may be under some sort of investigation to warrant such action. you have the right to know what led to that and if no legally backed reason is given,you reserve the right to pursue any legal course of action you so desire.

6) China is notorious for its tendency to control things in Tibet but the law that the Chinese government passed in 2007 was just beyond absurd. According to the law, it's illegal for the Tibetan monks to reincarnate without the government´s permission weird isn't it?
