This uselessness of this govt and its representatives is unimaginable. |

onlyfacts:OP this is a very sensible advice for a very sensitive matter. I think you should proceed as the gentleman above suggested. |

The EU just finished a meeting with China so it's very obvious now what they discussed in that meeting. Switching subserviency, from US to China. Asslickers. No wonder Britain ran out of the EU; the level of slave mentality pervasive there was suffocating. |
Lol... since it's British owned parrots, I'm sure you'll be hearing phrases like "dumbfuck", "bloody" and "twät". The British are never far from a curse word. The birds simply cued in.... ![]() |
Election is ongoing in Edo state, Nigeria and it's pretty much the trending thing in the country right now. PDP's Obaseki who is the incumbent against APC's Ize-Iyanmu the contender. On the face of it this should be an election like any other anywhere else in the world. But in a highly populated, multi ethnic, multi cultural and multi religious entity like Nigeria, elections have somehow been transformed into a dogfight where all vying parties have degenerated into a free-for-all, abhorring all forms of rules or regulations. During an election, somehow there is always this ominous feeling that election results will be tampered. Electioneering malpractices have become so ingrained in the system so much that we now recognise "rigging machinery" as part of the electioneering process in Nigeria. Results are manipulated by Party bigwigs(godfather's) to favour their contesting minions. This brings me to the issue most uppermost in the lips of most people in Nigeria. GODFATHERISM! Godfatherism is in the forefront of what the Edo people are fighting against today. Adams Oshomole served two gubernatorial terms in Edo state after which assumed an elder statesman's role in the state. Somewhere and somehow along the line he joined the APC, subsequently he metamorphosed into a godfather. Now, the last gubernatorial election held in Lagos State pushed to the fore the ills of godfatherism, especially how it suppresses the will of the people and imposes on them a choice of not their own choosing. With Lagos State so fresh in the mind and the players involved then very much at play here too, the stage was set for Edo people to slay the Proverbial giant and break free from electoral disenfranchisement brought on by godfatherism. Of course, in a country like Nigeria stuck with certain idiosyncrasies, it takes a lot of will to break out of certain established retrogressive practices especially the anti democratic practice of godfatherism. The victory of Mr Obaseki over Pastor Ize-iyanmu then becomes more significant in the sense that it shows the resilience of a people against aristocracy, against oligarchy, against oppression and against anti democratic practice. This is one victory the Edo people nay Nigerians must savour because it washes aways the vile taste oppression brought on by godfatherism. Godfatherism is synonymous with selection whilst democracy proffers elections. Both processes run parallel lines that can never meet. |

China trying too hard to live up to the first-world billing, but ultimately making a harsh of it. botched engineering. |
The Nigerian politician says the Nigerian life is worthless. You affirm it by throwing yours away. |
hahaha... you got me laughing here. |
Somebody who has a wife, somebody whose testosterone levels competes with men's, how can that person be called a woman? This man has undue advantage over his fellow sport competitors. If he insists in competing, let him do so with men. In fact all the medals he has dubiously won should be retrieved from him. That fella is a dude, period! |

Remember that the sole aim of the game is to eliminate(checkmate) your opponent's king. every chessman at your disposal are there soley to protect your king and try to eliminate your opponent's king. Your queen is the most powerful officer at your disposal, so any move you make to sacrifice your queen must be worth the game. A Gambit it must be. |
surely you do understand that the game comes to an end when the king of either player is killed. now if you've moved your white king next to your white pun you are directly protecting that pun with your king so your opponent's black king cannot eliminate that white pun because by doing so he will therein expose his king to yours for elimination. you cannot directly move a king into a position where he is checked or checkmated |
lies from the pit of hell! one organisation roots for the emancipation of ndigbo, the other fights for the continued subjugation of the Igbo nation. those who know know. |
this is an article I came across on the net. its about Gareth Bale and real Madrid. the way the writer related the Madrid situation and the Nigerian situation was a bit funny. I think it's worth reading... https://great3600..com/2020/08/real-madrid-and-gareth-bale-nigerian.html |
Engr emeka okwuosa MD/CEO Oilserv LTD. A very enigmatic character. I remember the time I came in contact with him some years back; at a project we executed for him (road construction) at his home town, he exuded such charisma. A very calm and collected fellow he is. I still follow your progress sir. keep up the good works. I dolf my hat. |

Dreamliner787:let me try and elucidate the science behind the explosion. hopefully you have heard of Boyle's law, Charle's law and the Brownian law of motion. well, without wanting to confuse you, let me explain the behaviour of gases in layman's term. Gas or gases are matter which, under standard temperature and pressure(s.t.p), are loosely bonded together, taking the shape of whatever container they are filled in, thereby exerting constant pressure on the walls of the container(cylinder in this case) therein. surely you know that cooking gas is combustible and therefore highly volatile. now let's talk about the G.S.M. technology. I'm sure you must have heard that cellular phones emit radiations, especially when they're being used for calls. well, those radioactive particules carry charges; electrical charges that can ignite the volatile and combustible gas. the radioactive emissions from the phone penetrates the cylinder, charges the gas particles which leads to a higher erratic movements of the gas particles in the cylinder and much more pressure on the walls of the cylinder(sometimes more than was intended for the cylinder to withstand). now, if that cylinder is old and rusty or expired, it may explode under the extreme pressure exerted in it. if it explodes what happens then? a highly combustible gas ignited by radio particles in the presence of oxygen, that's a recipe for disaster. I hope you get the drift now. |
sassysure:hahahaha.... you eh |
I want to believe your wife attended antenatal classes..., issues relating to lactation or the lack of it are surely discussed in those meetings. anyways, she has to help the baby latch onto the nipple properly so that suction can be maximised. hopefully she is not of the inverted nipple, if so it may pose problems in allowing the babe latch on to the nipples properly. once milk starts flowing, she needs to allow the babe suckle regularly thereby conditioning the brain nay breasts to continue to produce milk constantly. also, she should take foods that boost milk production. foods like oats and nuts are surebets. liquids like milk and yogurt will add lots of value too. taking lots of liquid is a plus. |

I know him quite well. I was the one who in 1981 brought him to the UN at his request as a member of the Nigerian delegation. He was then a senior lecturer at the ABU. In fact, the late Prof Audu, who was then Foreign Minister actually advised me against inviting him to the UN. But he had strong academic credentials which impressed me. He had obtained his first degree in political science from the LSE, and a doctorate from Colombia University in New York. We were looking for strong delegates to the UN General Assembly and I considered him the kind of delegate we were looking for. So I invited him as one of our delegates to the UN General Assembly. He was at the UN in New York with me. I gave him and his wife my city apartment which I was not using free for 3 months plus a car. I liked him and I was not seeking any favours from him. After 3 months he returned home and sent me a note thanking me for giving him the first opportunity to visit the UN as a delegate and giving him his first experience at multilateral diplomacy. However, he sent President Shagari a secret and private note that while he was at the UN he observed that I had not been attending the meeting of Islamic states at the UN. President Shagari sent the note to Prof Audu who forwarded it to me in New York. He didn’t even ask me for any comments on Gambari’s secret memo as Prof Audu fully understood that Nigeria had traditionally not been attending meetings if the Islamic states as we were not then a member of the Group. Gambari asked for a private meeting with President Shagari which Prof Audu advised against. I was shocked that someone I had helped so much turned round to betray me so blatantly. I did not tell him I knew about the secret letter he had sent to the UN. When Shagari was overthrown by Buhari Gambari became Foreign Minister. When career ambassadors were being suddenly retired I was at first not on the list. But Gambari, now FM and Rafindadi, the head of the NSO who had worked under me in London, and was now head of the NSO worked together to secure my retirement. In fact, when I called him from New York to confirm from him news about my retirement he first denied it. Thereafter, he no longer took my calls. In fact, I remained at my post in New York for another 3 months during which the MFA tried to reverse the decision to retire me. I had done absolutely nothing wrong in my entire career in the diplomatic service and only got into trouble for helping a young academic who turned against me to fulfil his own personal ambition. Since then, he and I have only met twice in very difficult circumstances. First at a dinner by a mutual friend in New York several years after my retirement. He could barely look directly at me. He was clearly embarrassed. Then when Buhari won the elections in 2015 I headed a team that was set up to prepare a paper for him on our Foreign Policy. Subsequently, Alhaji Joda asked him to join the team. Last year, he suddenly called me to ask if I would kindly represent him at a public lecture he had agreed to chair. I told him I could not snd that he should look for someone younger. He immediately hung up on me. Now, ha may be the kind if person Buhari is looking for to succeed Abba Kyari as COS. They are very much alike but Gambari is more subtle and even more dangerous and will substitute the national interests for his own personal interests. I have no doubt about that. What I have written in this long piece is just some of my personal experience and encounter with him. Everything I have written here is in my memoirs ‘Lest I Forget ‘which he has seen and read. It is nothing new. But I think it important that the character of our top govt officials should be revealed and not covered up. We have, as a nation, paid dearly for supporting appointments to high office that are often detrimental to our nation. Enough is enough and this has to stop. https://naijacenter.com/editorital/columnist/new-chief-of-staff-gambari-more-dangerous-than-abba-kyari-by-dapo-fafowora/amp/ |

Instead of educating the people on the safe usage of the google map, they are there spilling shit! Why is incompetence the bane of this society? A technology used worldwide to the betterment of man is seen as retrogressive here. What is wrong with these people? |
UrVillagePpl:You'd better take most of what you've read here with a pinch of salt! When a building is structurally deficient; that is if the reinforcements used in the construction of the building were inadequate or insufficient, then the building will most definitely exhibit that vibrating tendency. Also, if the proper soil tests were not carried out before erecting a building, it may lead to cracks in the walls of the building thereby leading to noticeable vibrations on the walls, windows and doors of the building when a door is shut. That said, I find it quite irritating that most people will rush to comment on something they know nothing about, thereby misleading scores of netizens. This should stop. |
