We are targeting the middle and lower income earners. We believe that the market will embrace Cubot especially considering Tecno's strategy to focus on high end phones.

You don't have to compromise quality for price, there are other ways you can make the tradeoffs of a low budget phone without even affecting quality at all.

We are a new company and we do have a lot of cost, hopefully as the phone saturates the Nigerian market we will be able to adjust the price. We think the current prices are reasonable compared to some other brands.

In Nigeria's smartphone market, you have to balance between cost and quality.

You should try and enter with a low-budget friendly phone.

Please I have two major issues; My new dell 3521 Intel Pentium 1.90 GHz 1.90 GHz has two major issues:
1. Sometimes after working with it, and I try shutting it, it will refuse to shut down, and if I sleep it, it will not be able to shut down after or get on again. I have to remove the battery each time it does that, for it to return to normal.
2. Sometimes when putting it on, it might not display anything apart from the cursor. It will just be a blue-black colour with cursor. I will also have to remove the battery.
Please what is the solution , as I am tired of removing and putting of battery.

Plus , how do I increase its dedicated video memory, as it is only 32mb?

You'll have to load a new operating system.

Dedicated memory is inbuilt, you'll have to get another motherboard that fits your system but with a higher ded mem.

Or better still change the system.

If you can open the laptop open it, you can get a disassembly instruction from google.

Check the thermal paste between the heat sink and the processor, is it dried up?? If yes get another thermal paste and apply it to that place.

Also check is the fan working?

Get a windows 7 cd, and boot from cd, when you get to the stage of selecting partition just select the partition don't delete any partition and continue with the remaining processes.

Prices should be in the mid range especially for a product just coming into the technology market of this nation.

My laptop uses windows 7 starter(HP Mini 110), it has no dvd rom . I want to upgrade it to a higher version. But that will not be soon. How do i do it, and will it delete the files in it if i upgrade it? Whenever i boot the system and uses it for like 15min, the avast antivirus wl start reporting "threat has been detected" and "suspicious item has bn detected". I wnt to delete those threats, how do i go abt it?

You can perform an upgrade installation that would not delete your files

What!!! if you are not careful you will crash that system,

The reason why it is cracking is because the ram has not space to store the temporary informations sent to it by the ongoing applications (which is the game in this case) this hereby slows down the system and can even affect your processor later on.

I'll advice you play the game in a resolution like 320 x 480 or 640 x 800.

when you want to play the game, make sure you don't have any running applications

***But if you want to solve this problem permanently upgrade your ram to 4gb.

Ok. Do this, play the game, while it is one

Press "ctrl" + "shift" + "esc"

Go to "performance" tab and check the memory indicator and cpu usage indicator are they full?

Also you can try reducing the numbers of applications running when you are playing the game.

Thanks for your concern bro. I have tried out that step one several times but its not working. As for the step two, there is no way I can unplug the monitor cause its a laptop. I don't really understand that step two though.

There is a connection from the lcd to the motherboard, just disconnect it and wait for some time, clean the port

(was on hibernate mode last night)I was going tru a pdf file on my Compaq presario F700, then I tried to switch to the Oda pdf file, wat I saw was a blank white with a (-----)line on d screen, move d mouse, nothing happen, den I decide to power it off using d power button, nothing happen, still on, so I decide to remove d battery n put it back, to my great surprise,
1)wen I try to turn the
computer on, the LED lights work and the fan makes
noise for like 3 seconds n stop n power off,
2)starting up itself some few seconds later, it start,blue light on, Wt fan working n stop after some seconds,
Wen I remove d battery n use d a.c. Power pack, it does d same
3) den I try to turn the

noise, I press down esc key for 3 seconds,it remains like without booting up.
4) I try step 3 without d battery, using d a.c power supply only, it gives same report as step 3 above.
Pls help me out on wat I can do about it.

This could be a memory failure (RAM)
It could also be a motherboard failure.
could also be a graphics card failure on the motherboard (Still motherboard failure)

how many ram do you have i mean the number not size?

if it is two ram remove 1 and boot with only the other one observing the results and vice versa.

even if you would use airtime to browse your apn should be: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net

My pes 13 always crack while playing it (it slows down) and also I suddenly removed my modem while connected to the internet, since then my laptop has refused to recognise it when I plug in the modem (Airtel modem)

Reduce the resolution you are playing it in (by the way, what's your laptop specs?)

For the modem
Uninstall the software completely
(If you have revo uninstaller make use of it to uninstall every trace of it)
Then reinstall it and connect the modem.
It should work

Check does it give any error message at boot post

The system could be doing overheating

Try to blow away dusts and clean every parts of the internals (carefully!)

Also reseat the different connectors on the motherboard

Remove the processor heat sink, clean off the underlying dusts (WARNING don't clean off the thermal paste!!!)

Also check the thermal paste between the heat sink and the processor, and see how you can scratch some of the surrounding ones to the center of the contact between the heatsink and the processor.

Try these steps and let me know what happens

The connector?? The cmos battery can be removed just do it patiently. Not the connector.

Also check around the motherboard area especially the processor put the system on and see what happens to the processor fan.
