3rdeyeNigeria: True.
I also believe we need to create more awareness about the danger of hate, especially tribal and religious intolerance.
At the end this country is a "unit", what affect 1, affect the other. Everybody is open to live and work anywhere. That's the reality. You are right brother, this country is a unit, as at now, thats the status quo. Our leaders have divided us via ethnic and religious lines for their own immoral gains and alot of us are blind to see through their devilish and self centred plans. Be candid, an average Yoruba man has no problem with an average Igbo man, same goes for The Hausa man, or any combination of the other ethnic group. We are all one and the same, its our upbringing that shapes our ideologies not our tribal heritage. Lets always seek equity, peace and justice for all; then and only then will we be worthy of being a human. Lets forsake barbarism, nepotism and sentimentalism it hinders progress. |

3rdeyeNigeria: I use to think it was just on nairaland till this election period.
Tribal Hatred has eaten deep into the system and Lagos that should know better due to the high level of enlighten people, educated work force and business community is currently on time bomb waiting to explode this week. We all must be careful else anarchy will set in, and we all be the loser. |

3rdeyeNigeria: It's terrible. I am so ashamed to be from the same country as these lots. Its so disturbing how a group of people will gather and kill a man without mercy, and some people will try justifying such devilish and barbaric act. Lets all stop all these hate before we are all consumed by it. |

So many crazy people on nairaland. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. You are quick to incite violence and insult each other, rather than collectively stand for whats just and right. Jungle justice is wrong, and ballot box snatching is equally wrong. The law should be allowed to take its full course in this issue.
whats wrong with all of you, why have you lost your humanity, whats going on. You guys should sit and rethink your lives.
No society divided can succeed. |

henrygale: All started sometimes ago when my wife who uses the car mostly didn't know the engine oil was due for change, drove it for a long time without changing the oil den it knocked. They fixed the engine, and it started overheating when going uphill. I changed the cylinders which they claimed was the problem then, but it continued. They changed gasket like twice, with same result . Latest now was the loud banging sound from the engine which they said was the crankshaft. I changed crankshaft but the engine wouldn't still work normally, and was pushing out water from the radiator once the engine starts. So, was told it's gasket issue wch dey changed but problem persists. There is a crack somewhere they havent discovered. Sorry bro, just change the engine. Pls when next you give any lady a car, do the servicing yourself, dont leave it to them. Just very few of them can meet up with periodic maintenance. |

jsonshain: Thanks for this forum. Please I'll like to find out whether Honda City has the legs issue that accompanies most Honda cars. I want to pick a Naija used one and it will be my first car.
Please advise. City and Odyssey dont have leg issues but that doesnt mean u shouldnt check their legs at 4-6months intervals depending on the road you ply. Buying naija used car as first car is a tough call. Make sure u over check any car u want to buy, so u wont end up regreting your choice and then hating hondas. |

henrygale: Hello guys, I need help for my Honda accord 2003 model(EOD) v6. Last week Thursday on my way from work, I started hearing a knocking sound, wch was checked out and I was told it was the crankshaft. They changed the crankshaft, the car started but then the engine pushes out water from the radiator immediately it is started. They changed the gasket already and the problem persists. Once the car is started it pushes out water from the radiator immediately. What could be the problem pls Coz my mechanic seems not to know what to do next.
Cc: mosbus Generalfag Carmecx nurey thebigkendo Sorry sir, have been offline here. How far with the car now? As Nurey pointed out, it could be the gasket. It could also be a cracked engine block or cracked top cylinder. Milky engine oil shows water is mixing with engine oil inside the engine. More often than not u have to change the engine. |

teeytimi: please house I am using an automatic transmission car I recently notice that the moment the engine is working for about an hour the gear begins to vibrate and won't enter reverse until I park the car for about 2-3 hrs. I want gurus in the house to advice me on what to do or does it mean the gear is developing problem. You transmission is probably over heating or packing up. Get it scanned to know whats happening exactly. Could be problem with the clutch switches too. Which ATF have u been using inside it? |

chikenicholas: Thanks for this, its quite informative.
In addition to the P0420 error code, there was also an Engine misfire code which I guess is responsible for the P0420 error code. Now you are talking, that P0420 code rarely comes up alone. My advice: Address the other codes first, clear the codes and drive the car, lets see what happens. Catalysts don't just fail, something made it fail. |

Imagine a tenant playing boss in a rented apartment With this your last comment u will loose big time in most businesses. I have told u before that u are suffering from "too much book" syndrome. In businesses, there is a big gulf between whats on paper and what eventually happens. You still have alot to learn. A whole lot. |

Phranex: U do know some trackers keep history?
You also do know uber have drive history...
A discrepancy in the two checks warrants a penalty Now I know your problem. You are suffering from "Too Much Book". But you know what? This is Nigeria, things in books don't work here when it relates to business. You are about falling into the same pit i fell into four years ago (Not on uber anyway but same transportation) and the good thing for you is u have people here giving you free sound advise, yet you are hell bent on going on with it. I can bet you, your drivers will be the one that will make money off this your plan. You will end up selling those cars for peanuts. From all u have said, better forget transportation all together, u dont seem to have the trait required to effectively manage your car(s). Every way u plan to curtail your drivers, they will eventually outsmart u. This is Nigeria, everyone is negatively smart and have potential of being selfish n selfcentred. This is the problem with Nigerian investors, they always want to eat their cake n have it. So pathetic! |
