SmallerB: Hello, please can anyone shed some light on monthly expenses for student schooling in Saskatoon, thing to know and be prepared for? How is the university of Saskatchewan for post graduate students? And please if there is anyone in saskatoon please signify . Thank you I am in Saskatoon. Don't know if your questions has been answered. Mine I am a student with family of 5. Monthly expense is well over about 4. Single person can survive with about 1500 I believe . that includes feeding and accommodation. For graduate studies I think its great. But you should be ready to really work hard. It pays off eventually. Be prepared for cold. |

Folafikemi: Good day great people. Ever since PPR, Its been so eventful from one arrangement to the other and everything seems to be happening so fast.. All praises to God almighty.
Pls I'm planning to land by this month ending and I have been having a lot to think about and I will really love your advise and input in shaping my movements after all what are family for.. Lol
Firstly I plan to shortland and the reason is I need to come complete a project at work and sign out finally. So I have this issues bothering my mind... I need to get my PR card before returning to naija and from all indication, one may not know exactly when it will come out. So Pls how long can I stay hoping to get it.
If I can't wait/stay too long, what document can I probably travel with when coming in next to Canada cos I don't intend to stay to long in naija once I return.
Secondly is the issue of accommodation, and I have read here people getting one before they land, I'm PNP and my province is Saskatchewan. I will like to also get such assistance in securing an apartment in Saskatoon... Pls help me anyone in that region kindly lend a hand.
Finally can I carry as low as 2.5k CAD in cash while I have the rest in bank?
Kindly help with responses. I really will appreciate ur input I have accommodation in Saskatoon. I am looking for someone to take it. Please contact me on whatapp +2348023320212 |

keleto: Good day house, am about registering for my MPNP, One fear keeps coming to my mind, whenever I read of the winter temperature in Manitoba,my mind just keeps beating. I really hate cold weather, but though one can use winter jacket, I still have fear if that would be enough. Pls can someone contribute to a way forward on this. Thanks Canada is cold but you can escape it. You dont live outside. Everywhere is heated. Your house car and everywhere you might be going to. It not as bad as we imagine. I have met some old people born in canada they too hate winter. So dont worry you too will survive and may be enjoy it. Besides its seasonal. |

I just stumbled on this thread. I supposed you are a farmer. I expected to see pictures of what you have been doing. The plantains you have grown and other crops. The harvest if any. A picture they say is more than 1000 words.
Or are you a motivational speaker trying to motivate us into agric. Then its understandable. Investment in agric is no doubt a good investment. |

Blackbuddy: Hi, it's always good to start from the known and then move to the unknown. That being said, what is your professional background so that we can review what transferrable skills you possess that will aid your transition to another field? Thanks for your response. I read microbiology. And have 11 years banking experience. I worked briefly in a food industry after graduation before joining the bank. But as I said I want to start afresh. I don't mind engineering or construction or medical. Am open to suggestions and advice. Thanks. |

funshobabs: Greetings to all nairalanders in the house. Please I need help, clarification and all the support in the house on FSW.
My profile: Msc petroleum Engineering, Teesside UK. BEng Mechanical Engineering (UNIMAID) Work Experience : Lecturing (The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro. Department of Mechanical Engineering). From December 2014 to date. Marital Status: Married to a beautiful and intelligent Lady. Age 30.
Wife's Profile Ma English (in view) Ba English both UNILAG. Work experience: Meadow Hall ...One year The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro (Administrative Officer Registrar cadre) from July 2014 to date. Age 29
We intend to apply for FSW Canada, the question is who should be the principal applicant? I have checked the occupational list and unable to find my NOC as a lecturer in a polytechnic.
Well, I intend making my wife the principal applicant because of the following reasons. 1. There's a DOB error on my WAEC certificate contradicting all others on my documents which might pose a problem during WES evaluation of my academic qualification. well your waec certificate is not really needed in fsw application. 2. She stand a better chance of passing the IELTS test lol. Shes a guru in English, she speaks well too. I intend writing too to boast our points You don't need to be an English guru to ace IELTS. All you need is practice. 3. Her Educational qualification evaluation using WES might be easy(you know Unilag will be conversant with stuffs like that) unlike my school Unimaid. I might have difficulty in getting to the school. You can evaluate only your masters degree. That will suffice. Please my people, I will need a comprehensive advice on what to do. In conclusion your age is good. And you have MSC. Both of you should write ielts and let the person with higher crs be the PA.
Thank you guys. |
