lets hope for the best...the program prioritize people venturing into tomato, rice, sorghum and cassava. Above all it is gender sensitive, so most women that applied would be encouraged...

Well, mine was in osun too, while I originated from ekiti, but I was considered maybe because it lies within the same geo political zones. But according to the program, you should be considered, so far they can verify you have access to land there. Also they are targeting people into crops especially cassava, sorghum, rice.

Hmmmm I thank God for everything o, just to let us know what I went through at my interview venue in Umuahia, Abia state all the way from Osun state where I reside. I am a citizen of Abia state. I was told by ALL interviewers that I cannot have my business in Osun state where I reside. That it is compulsory for this program my business must be in the same that I come from. Omg I didn't know this from the onset. As such my land title was from Osun state. Am so sad right now.

Hello House, if you are really into farming and you know about the logistics, it may be somehow calling them to provide labourers for every of the cultural practices till harvesting, it may somehow slow down the work process and they may eventually not work at the pace you want.
If you have your money at hand, you call the labourers, tell them and pay them their money.
You can even employ a particular labourer for that particular planting season that will be paid monthly for monitoring to avoid all this "Omo Onile" from claiming your proceeds.
I still don't see how tiring it won't be for us at the end of the day calling them to come and do things for us since we don't av cash.
I understand that, they may be trying to fight corruption by avoiding people from using the money for Something else.
But let's still see how it goes.
