This is absolutely no fiction. Thank God the interviewers didn't feel this way. They had my CV and saw where I served. I later went on to do my masters at the University of Ibadan. Anyway, I have no control over what you choose to believe. Just my little frightening experience.

yes, you're right. I rejected a job after a successful interview in PH because of this. THE LADY WAS LIKE; if you want to say something, you have to call me ma! I am your boss! AS IF I DON'T KNOW THAT. very annoying

The bank was a great place to start a career, but it was filled with very toxic people.

Work-life balance is terrible, everything has to be routed to the head office making processes very stressful, poor TAT, and poor customer satisfaction.

Management hardly listens to anybody, they take ages to adopt very simple upgrades on product design and processflows.

I left one Friday morning around 8 am without any plan or prior notice!

Biggest and boldest step I ever took in my entire life.

I asked a writer recently what her rates is. She said #1.5 per word..

I was shocked... I couldn't hire her, cause her rate was too poor for my liking.

But that's her worth, and she doesn't see beyond that rate.

Whereas if you're to ask me same question, response will be $0.15 per word, or $30/1hr.

Mr. man, there are times you digress just to get to a point. in terms of employment opportunities, accountants get more and you know why!? only few companies can employ the services of an economist. who heads the ministry of finance? an economist, one of the basic requirements to be the CBN governor, you have to be an economist, to hold a top managerial position in big international firms, it'd take Years of experience for an accountant to get there. but an economist can get there under few years. everyone loves ice cream but not everyone can afford it and that's why many settle for fanyogo! an economist won't receive the same pay as an accountant but accountants can get companies to pay them within their pay range easily. and to my earlier point, no accountant, I repeat, no accountant can venture into economics...but an economist can venture into accounting with little or no problems.
