Over 100 vacancies have been advertised between Nov 2021 and Feb 2022 by the bank but no employment story since(on nairaland). Is there an embargo on employment or their recruitment process is just very slow?

You mean for experienced hire role

This is serious, I was interview for "Sales officer Trainee" role, is it the same as credit officer?
The you ask why you guys were not allowed to do business lending?
What was their target?

It is trainee cos you don't have experience I guess. However it is same function. For us the target was 5.5 million per month as at then. As regards business lending, they said they are still doing feasibility studies whether Ibadan people will not default on payment

Wow can you please tell me more, I just had an interview with them

After my interview with them, I was given offer letter as credit officer(personal and business lending) when we resumed, we all found out that we will not be doing business lending and the state some of us were posted to is more into business(Oyo State). The risk mgt team will frustrate most of your loan bookings with one excuse or the other. These same loans will be approved by other loan companies. You will be given 3 months probation period and people are just sacked anyhow with high staff turnover too. There are other unethical practices that you have to do if you are to survive. Pay is 159211k per month

Properties / Re: Are Ibadan Real Estate Agents The Worst In Nigeria? by Generaloluseye: 8:51pm On Nov 06, 2021
[quote author=Ijawboy post=107383067]Lately I have been scouting for a 2 bedroom apartment in Ibadan for residential use.
See what a greedy Real Estate Agent charged me for a 2 bedroom apartment in Oluyole estate, here in Ibadan:

Rent - N700,000
Agency fee @ 20% = N140,000
Legal fee @ 10% = N70,000
Caution deposit =N70,000

Just imagine being asked to pay N980,000 due to sheer greed of this Estate agents in collusion with greedy landlords☹️

Unfortunately, this is the norm out here as other agents I spoke to were not any different.

Kindly share your experience with Ibadan Real Estate agents or even their greedy colleagues in other states and how you handled them.

This strange and wicked attitude started post covid lockdown. In bodija, you will hear rent 300, agency is 160 for one bedroom flat

Family / Re: If Not For Your Wife, Would You Have Married The Time You Did? by Generaloluseye: 4:44pm On Oct 24, 2021
zeenaman:
Contrary to the impression held by many, women actually make marriage proposals. Because people see men going down on their knees popping the typical "will you marry me" question, they feel men are the ones in charge of fixing a date. But this is not true. I arrived at this after having discussions from a few married friends of mine, and my own experience too as a married person. Left for me, I didn't see myself married in three years time from the year I married considering my financial situation. There were many goals I hoped to achieve before getting married, but my fiancée changed my mindset. She knew my financial capacity, she made the analysis and convinced me that we can do it. Alhamdulillah, that's the best decision I have ever made in my life.
Three of my friends had similar experience, if not for their wives they won't have been married by now.

While men see problems, woman seem to see solution. For people that may think she was desperate, I married her at 22, extremely beautiful and untouched by any man.
Back to the question, if not for your wife, will you have been married by now?
Note : I'm only referring to good women that are focused and marriage oriented. Same as men.
Mod, please help move to front page

I will come back when Glo calls us. Lol

Ok. Just know that things change in life. A banker can loose his job and decide to be an uber driver for the time being. So don't marry because of things that can change

Ladies, can you marry someone who does uber full time? No other source of income besides uber every week. He earns well though and invests his money. But has no other source of income.

The lady in question is a top executive at a venture capital. They met in his uber car.

You are that lady
