Hi ladies and gentle men. I got a mail from US consulate to come for English test following my application for a job there. Been a while after the test without hearing from them. Anybody with experience or any information about this will be appreciated.

Good day to u all, well I like to answer some of the questions asked on this forum.
I was one of those who apply for npower-tax from lagos and was called for interview and thereafter went for training at federal treasury Academy orozo in Abuja. So I think am eligible to answer some if not all of the questions raised.
1. Let me allay your fears that's if there is any, that there is no big deal about the interview. All they want to know is your availability for the program and probably some other personal questions.

2. If eventually you scale through the interview which am sure most people will, then they will send a message both text and email to proceed for the training in Abuja.
3. The training is in batches and its State by state. Last week was Lagos and Abuja, then other states follows. I overhead a friend saying this week is for enugu and nasarawa state.
4. If eventually you are invited for the interview pls quickly go and start making arrangement for a week program cause they will only send you message a day before your resumption date and if u don't resume on time, you may not be allowed . However, that doesn't mean everybody will move to the training stage.

I think I have been able to answer some of the questions been raised here and of there is any other Grey areas I will be willing to attend to it.

I think shortlisting must have started by now. What we just need pray for is to be successfully selected and contacted soonest because merit will be their guiding point. Any other thing shall follow.

There's nothing like that on the application form. Its either you apply for the general staff position or professional staff position And besides, it was clearly stated that applying for more than one position may lead to disqualification.

Pray hard that they don't disqualify you. International Organizations like this and others are smart in their approaches to recruitment of suitable candidates for vacant positions unlike Nigeria per se and where they find a candidate to have applied for more than one position, they may feel the person doesn't have a taste for a particular job and may disqualify such on merit except where such candidate use different identities and qualifications. Am not trying to cause tension here but alert you to pray hard and hope we all make it to the top. Good luck guys.

Nope. Just working out ways to see how one can reach the office and make key enquiries but work wouldn't let me be.

I doubt dat or let me say that will be impossible, they will have to screen the applications first, academic qualification, years of experience etcetra....

Invitation will be this month! The interview will be in two format, the oral and the computer practical that for those who applied to jobs that required computer skill. They will test your computer ability and that all, qualified candidate will then be notified. Working in ECOWAS is the best thing anyone can hop for, huge pay and lot of benefit

The person who told me doesn't know how long the process takes. The person only knows that reviews have started.
