Haba dearie, did I not give you good advice? My dear seriously, it is not an insult. I am telling you what I discern from your words. You need a closer walk with God by getting truly born of the Spirit. When you are born of the Spirit, you will marvel that you ever asked such a question.
Am sorry I don't know I was quoting you directly. I was just passing a massage to the house.

How ever you mean a man born of the spirit can not fall?

Nevertheless my topic have said it all. What else do you expect when a man said he is totally comfused?

@genesis2000

I almost didn't want to comment on your post but I could see some sincerity howbeit misguided.

1. Your concept of "Call" is very wrong.
You believe you have been called as an Evangelist AND you wish to serve "prominently" in a church.

Implication: you want recognition

2. An evangelist is an "out-church" person. He doesn't stay in a church to minister. He goes out, wins souls, directs the souls to a living church where a church is near or sets up a church and invite a pastor to take over while he moves on to other fields.

3. For now, forget about Leading. Serve as a believer in a ny church of your choice. In the course of serving, God will direct you.

4. Get a Job if you don't have one. An evangelist does not depend on converts offerings and tithes.
An evangelist does not minister in a church. Hmmm.

Am working currently. Im not unemployed.

You said i need recognition. Hmmm. That's what am saying people judge differently.

Anyway thanks for reading.

Am not actually here for an aquement. Even though it come i will refuse to do it.

Someone said im desperately for money. Well God knows individual heart. The last pastor that invited me, who wanted me to assist him is a big man of God, he has a big church, infact he wanted me to be his second person, he has ministers working under him, even most of them frowned at it, it looks as if i was trying to over shadow them, but the pastor never give a damn about them. I met him in one of our ministers meeting.
He wanted to work with him, even his member like me when they saw my ministration.

But what God opened my eyes to see concerning the foundation of his church baffled me alots. So i resorted by leaving. He called my phone several time i did not picked his calls neither did i tell him why i left, infact i don't even know what am going to tell him.

If my motive were money i wouldn't have left such a place.

We should always guilde our tongues so that we might not sin against God.

And here for prayers and counselling. I have not been able to put my self together. I knows that there are few of you here that will understand what am saying.

The bible says the righteous shall fall seven times and shall rise up again but the wicked shall fall into a mischief.proverbs 24:16.

Christianity EtcHelp. Am Totally Confused Now, I Needs Your Advice by Genesis2000(op):
Hmmm infact i don't even know where to start.

This is my story.

We were 18 in numbers that had an ordination in a local church where i used to worship before.

Some of us were ordained as pastors, Deacon/deoconeess and evangelist. But i was ordained as an evangelist after waiting opon the Lord.
There after i went to a bible school at yaba where i sat for a certificate course under the approval of my senior pastor/G.o

i was there till i have an issue with the church/pastor that warranted me leaving the church. Though before i left, the church have started planning to give me a branch to take care of.

Since then i have been going from one churches to the other, but since i needed to start all over from the foundational class, hmmm the whole stuff makes no meaning to me atall , then i quit going to church. It is like a graduate who were ask to start all over again from kindergarten. Lets be sincere to ourselves it is not really easy, not that am proud but am finding it very difficult to cope under that condition.

I could remember the last place i go to. We were on the lesson two which is spiritual birth. The lady notice that my mind is not there any longer, she ask a question i was just looking at her like dundu united. She was very very surprise.

Although one man of God invited me to his church and advised me to work with him, but after my ministration that very day God showed me a revelation concerning the foundation of that church, which is not palatable atall.
Then i stop going to church finally.

It is up to a year now i stop going to church, until i started to pray again for Gods direction.

There was a time i even felt of being on my own, but you know it is not really easy, so many things are involve in it financially and otherwise.

I even approached a pastor so that we can start up something together though he is now an apostle, but unfortunately he has been hooked up to a particular church where he is very very relevant.

One thing about me is that i don't introduce myself to anyone whenever i visited any church, i will just go strait and join their congregation. Am a member of Pfn and uptil now they used to sends me an invitation/sms whenever they wanted to have their meeting.

But i stop attending their meeting since i begin to have issues with my former church, i do nolonger have rest in my spirit any longer so that's why i also quit going their.

Am an old member of nairand but i decided to create this signature few months ago just for one or two reasons.

Finally, will i say God have answered my prayer or what, when i discovered a good church where i could worship, and where my spirit accepted but it was a big church but i did not have any choice since i have never been to church closed to a year, even the other times i goes to church it was just a mere visit.

Still the same process i stood up as the first timer, welcomed and the next thing they gave me a decision card. Even doing the pastors ministration i intentionally came out for those who will give their live to Christ, after we were prayed for they handed over us to a teacher who latter commence a foundational/baptismal class with us. Well since am desperate to serve God, i did not bother about the whole thing. Even they have also asked me if their is any help they could render to me. But i have never give them any reply concerning it. All of us know their is a recession in the country now. But i still hold my peace.

Am sure even if i stays their for next five years am not sure if i will be given an opportunity even to collect an ordinary offering Lol. Well if it is how God want it glory be to him.

Now this is where my confusion started.

Just last week a pastor who also left one of this mega church for one or two reasons, in of the eastern state, though the head quarter is in lagos, visited my wife and told her that he have started a ministry and have only worship about two Sundays their, that he needed a serious person that can walk with him.

My dear nairalnders, i have once prayed for this kind of opportunity before for years, but it didn't surfaced, why is it now that i have found a new church and my heart accepted the church. But i need a church where i will be relevant to my calling And do what God want me to do.

I really need your advice on what to do. I don't even know how to direct my prayers now. Infact am totally confused. I need any spirit filled person who can attend to me urgently thank you.

Would appreciate it if this can be move to the front page. God bless you all.

Pls forgive me for the poor write up and the grammatical errors.

My friend. God is a good God. I mean the God that created the heavens and earth and all within it in 7days, just so u know the one am talking about.
Hell fire u mentioned is not a gospel it is a place that people who heard about Jesus and did not accept him as Lord and saviour despite the provision he made by his death on the cross for them to escape it.
Heaven is real too and is meant for people who are in right standing with God who have accepted christ.
Know this that good intentions and good work will not take u to heaven or prevent u from going to hell. The only way is accepting Jesus Christ.
Read Hebrew 3:1-19,
Our understanding of hell differs.

I believe it is a land of the death where everybody that died goes to first. And some will remain there forever why some will leave from there to heaven. Jesus is a good example he visited hell once he died.

But you believe it was an oven made of fire, your saying Jesus were also tormented with fire.

I believe there is Hell too but our understanding of it differs.

God bless you.

"In everything give thanks to God". Everything here means good or bad. There is nothing that a man has that he did not receive from God. Whether it is deliverance from death by accident of favour of any form. Now whatever is telling you to debate giving a testimony or determining whether a testimony is weird or not or whether in your own opinion it passes for a testimony is from the pit of hell. The devil comes in subtle ways and wants to use you to introduce reason and debate into the things of God that's how some people unfortunately have become atheists. One of the comments on this thread from someone says 'when i was a believer' what an unfortunate comment from the individual. Some of you have become so educated and its leading you to spiritual death. It is not all kinds of knowledge that is good for you as a believer. Its not every book you read neither is it every message u allow into your spirit. There is a forbidden knowledge and as a believer you have to consciously avoid it.
God is d reason why we sleep and wake up, he is the reason why some people get a job without interview, why some women who have no womb still deliver children, and if u think reading to pass an exam does not require a testimony remember that there are those who read but went blank when their receiver their question paper and answer booklet .
The bible says get wisdom and in all thine getting get understanding. It is only a fool (bible use of English ) that says in his heart that there is no God.
Pls if u want to reply this be civil and dont insult me.
Thank you
Lol why should i insult you for sharing your opinion.
Don't you know that am also learning from here too.
Besides if you have read my earlier post you will realized that i do give testimony too.

We were all learning and that's why i put it up here.

God bless you.

In all situations, constantly thinking and communing with The Supreme Spirit provides Peace, Patience, Perseverance and Humility and is Righteous.
Testimonies are very good, but this particular one we are talking about depends on your Knowledge of The Mission of God in you and how much of Christ you are blessed with.
We all value to make Heaven and we all must know Death and Life thoroughly before we make Heaven. Jesus is The Standard and is Life and Resurrection.
You can't approach Buhari anyhow or anytime, but you can talk to God right now without permission of a DSS.
Just wonder at the marvellous ways of God, and always surrendering all Honour and Glory to Him in Christ Jesus.
Testimonies are very good. They are Praises for Security, Safety and Success bestowed on us by Grace. They express how much of our attention to do good is still needed on earth by God and how much we understand and appreciate God in Christ Jesus.
Thanks for reading. I appreciate your response.

If you believe it's God that saved your life then no matter how bad you feel for other victims of the same incident, you must share your testimony and give thanks.

But if you feel it's your knowledge and smartness that saved you, feel free to take all glory and give credit to yourself for that but keep it in mind to watch and keep yourself save ever after because God does not take pleasure in fools
Hmm the question that has still been left unattended, is if your family are included in such an accident that kept u alive, will you testify? Simple.

It so disheartening that the kind of Christianity we practice these days is what I call 'Christianity by comfort'. A kind of Christianity whereby you jubilate over the misfortune of others solely because you're not a victim.

I have heard weird, horrible and selfish testimonies of the so called Christians several times and I begin to wonder the kind of Christians we are churning out in Nigeria. I remember when my church member shared a testimony of how virtually everybody in this classic failed a course which he passed. Meanwhile some of his course mates are inside the church oooo. Smh

OP, I don't really think it is bad to testify to God for helping you out of an ugly just like a car crash. The only problem I'm having is about people who are always at the speed of light to go to church to share needless and irrelevant testimonies
God bless you so much.
If you read my post very well you will realized that i have also said i do gives testimony as well.

But the kinds of testimonies i hears this days sometimes look as if one is gossiping, and it is very pathetic.

Ok imaging a situation whereby you prayed in your room for a particular attacked you use to have, may be the next morning a woman dies in your compound. The next day Sunday come and see how the whole church will be jubilating for this very incident.

Is that a testimony?

Or haven't you heard of such a testimonies before?

It is written that we must give thanks in "every" situation, not some. Being the only survivor in a car accident is a testimony no matter what. Like someone rightly asked, would have rather you died?

Now you asked, what would Jesus do? Well you aren't conversant with your bible. When Lazarus died and Jesus went to his tomb, what was the first thing Jesus said in prayer to God? He gave thanks. And what did the people say?..... Go find out yourself.
It is a lie, Jesus wept is the shortest verse in the bible infact my little daughter have recited as a quiz before.

When Jesus came to the tomb of Lazarus he wept.

It was when he is about to raizerate him that he gave thanks.

What if he were not able to raiserate him?

Did Job also thank God when he lost all his family?

Testimony time.
Like someone said above, the manner in which you testify would matter in this case.

Like thanking God for giving you a second chance. While also praying for the family who lost loved ones to have the fortitude to bear their loss.

This kinda testimony should be given amidst genuine tears for the lost lives if you have a heart.

It's a different story if your only son is amongst the dead. God forbid.

Let's avoid always generalizing. Situations can be peculiar most times.
Thanks, i appreciate.

God's Sovereign Choice

Romans 9:18
God's Sovereign Choice
…17For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power in you, and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden. 19One of you will say to me, “Then why does God still find fault? For who can resist His will?”…

Exodus 33:19

The Glory of the Lord
…18Then Moses said, "I pray You, show me Your glory!" 19And He said, "I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion." 20But He said, "You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!"…

In everything God says we should thank him. Your prayer will be God let me not fall into temptation, always testify of God's Goodness in your life and family.
Thank you so much for your insight and understanding. I really appreciate it.

What if you see Armed Robbers that have killed up to 40 families in cold blood in hell, you won't be happy? What if you see a man that has raped over 30 girls while he was on earth you won't be happy? What if you see a hiv positive woman that deliberately have sex with men so as to infect them with the disease, you won't be happy? Do you know the good about you? It's that you believe their after life.

Everybody has many questions about the way God works, and its effect on our life, but all we can do is to have faith and be righteous as much as we can, even if it is 3% righteousness, and do not harm your neighbor.
Thank you so much for those questions

Before i answer them, i would like to ask you only one or two questions

Have you watch Jesus of nazareth before in a video? Have you see how they marhandled him, does it ever pricked you heart theway d beat him, put 9 inches nail on his hands and leg and it penetrate into the wood, and they finally crowned him with a thorns and it also penetrate into his skull?

Listen the one you even saw on the television is very low from the one that God showed me in a revelation. On that one they treated him like a criminal and script off his cloth and left him stac naked and the beaten can not be compared to the ones we sees on television.

But at the end he says father forgive them...

2 Steven took the same part and says God don't put dis sin on de head of this ones.

Pls can you tell me why they asked for their forgiveness, and did God granted their prayers?

Now lets go back to ur questions.

If i see those people you mentioned included Hitler, i will not be happy.

Hmmm i still doubt this consept of hellfire, yes i believe their is an after life i also believe in everlasting life which Jesus promise those who believed on him.

John 10; 10 i came that they might have life and that they have it more abundantly.

But Roman 3 told us that the wages of sin is death and the gift of God is everlasting life.
Ezekiel also make us to know that the souls that sin shall die.

And God told Adam because you done this.... Dust you are and dust shall you returned.

What is promise? If you do this and this am going to do this for you. Is that not a promise what if they fail to do it? You have every right to withhold your gift or promise.

Now let look at it this way.

You saw a monkey which is living in a bush, and you tell the monkey look here am going to do you a favour, am going to do you good, but this is the condition, look at this banana that has a spot all over don't eat it and the day you eat it you shall continue to die like monkey and the oldest among you shall be 50 years. But if you eat this one on my right hand it shall transform you like a human being and you will live in my palace forever and eat like a king.

Now it now left for those monkey to decides which types of banana they will be eating.

Now what is the help you have rendered to those monkeys now? are the Change of life which is the transformation of life you did not only turned them to human but also promise them to live in your palace and the best of it is that they will never die. What a wonderful and a merciful you re.

This is an eligatory.

Now what if some of the monkeys were not able to eat your recommended bananas? Or at worst still decided not to eat it and continued to eat their corrupt ones, do you now cast them into an oven or furnace of fire to remain there forever? Hmmm don't you think that such action amounts to wickedness after all you never even promise them to be burn in a hot oven, you only promise transformation, so why resorted in throwing them in hot oven?

By then No man can say i brought you a good news, and if asked what is the good news and he now turn and says the good news is to slawter you like ram if you did not follow me. Nairalanders is that a good news?

There are two important things to note here.

1 they were monkey and they die like money at the age of 50 years

2 you promise to turned them to human, take them out of the bush and put them in your palace and give them everlasting life. There is never a threat here you know?

3 if they keep your commandment.

This thing is a promise never a threat, you wanted to better their life and it sounds very good and wonderful and something it looks evn had to believe. It is a wonderful promise. Infact you even need to conviced them to believe because it is too good to be real. That's why it is a good new. Have you ever seen politicians campaigning? I will turn one dollar to one naira. You know it is a promise and it is very had to believe, so this politician must continue to campaign in other to conviced us the more.

This is what Christians should be doing to the unbelievers and not to threat their life with hellfire.

Infact is evn making matter worst, because people will only c him as a wicked person...
