that's was when Jesus showed up, even John the baptist also misunderstood him to an extend.

But unfortunately they were disapointed.

Jesus did not come for the world to have a phisical independent, freedom or be loose from the power of their phisical enemies but a spiritual ones.

There was a time the Jews wanted to make him a king by force, but the bible said when he knew of their plans, he escape and avoid them for a season. pls read ur bible again. And what does that singular action showed you?

You remember when someone was casting his teeth on him? you said you came to save us, why don't you save urself and comedown from the cross and we will believe.

My dear, the church of God has completely lost it. And they were now doing a differents things altogether. instead of you praying for the world.Eg. your country., pls pray for the church. They were nolonger on the right tracks.

pls don't be decieved by that insription on the u.s dollar. Where they said in God we trust. They were not reffering to the real God. you will not understand what am saying here.

Please this is a very serious issue, and am not happy about it. Will be grateful if this could be taken to the front page.

I attended a service on the second of October 2016. If you see the ways they celebrated Nigeria independent day, you will marvel.

What has the church of God turned into?

We were instructed to fast and pray for Nigeria that this country will surely become great again.

Believe me i was very disappointed when i saw this. Even they also gave us a flag of Nigeria each to take home.

I know some individuals here will also be disappointed for hearing these from me

Hmmm the church has completely lost it, i just pray that he God should do something faster before thing completely goes out of hand.

Can we briefly looked into the bible again.

John 16; 33.
These things have i spoken before, in me you might have peace, in the world you shall have tribulation... Just name it. But in me you shall have PEACE.

John 17; 6 i have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gave me out of the world (Nigeria) thine they were, and thou gavest them me, and they have kept thy word. Verse 9 i pray for them (church) i pray not for the world (Nigeria) but for them which thou has given me, for they are thine. (church) you can hear it from the horses mouth himself?

Pls follow me. Verse 14, I have given them thy word, and the world hath hated them because they are not of the world, even as am not of the WORLD. Vs 15 i pray not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from Evil.
Vs 16. He repeat they are not of the world even as am not of the world. Which independent is the church /christians were celebrating actually [/b]
Pls before i go further permit me to ask this question gain?

Pls hold on a bit. Lets see the book of act.

Acts ch 1;6 reads. When they therefore were come together (church) they ask of him, saying Lord will thou at this Time restored again Nigeria its lost glory and kingdom? Vs 7 and he said to them it is not for you to know the Times or seasons which the father had put in his own power.

But you shall receive [b]power, after that the holy Ghost is come upon you. And you shall be witness both in Judea and in Nigeria and to the uttermost part of the earth.

Now can you see that the church has lost it completely? Today the church has been mixed up with the world. To be continue..

I actually wanted to know how speedlimit saves live exactly?

Lets look at it this way. If i sees the the red signal and decided to ignore it and keep on moving what happens?

Does it mean that i might be running overspeed without know?

Lastly is there any vehicle that does not have speedlimit at default?

The whole things still boiled down to drivers and how careful they were.

This could be another avenue form this people to make more money for themselves.

If you actually wanted to save lives and stop overspeeding, why don't you installed an overspeed tracker like traffic light into various places, which will be able to track any offenders, that would have make more sense than this nonsense.

Moreover judging by the costs in this recession, we will not take it.

The story you refer to...I saw the thread but didn't open it because I didn't feel it was necessary for me, however, it could be so inhumane for one to think of taking another's life not to talk of setting out to do that.

Me like this your statement. This is what I practice and believe me, it's been working well since we became companions. The thing is, wisdom is very essential here...understanding the kind of spouse you have #veryimportant. I say this because a woman will sometimes in very rare occasion want to be a "woman", same applies to a man, so that is where wisdom applies. (never one should think that the spouse will always be 100% understanding o. From experience, times will come that they will act deviating from the original plan), wisdom demands you accommodate, by ignoring or adhering; then have a sit-down discussion later on to ascertain what could've brought about such deviation.

My brother, continue in your act and you will have peace of mind o...very important, esp if your income is sizable. I must equally say, that you continue same when the income increases...imagine she/he finding out later that you have been telling her/him lies...hmmmm (na only God can help in that o).

It is better to always have projects each year, so that no matter how plentiful your income may be, you guys know what and what each %age is going into...by the way, if you complete the task for that year in record time, why not take out time with your spouse and do better shopping (for you, family members and the needies)

God bless you so much. See i will not lie to you, there is absolute peace in my house now, even with the little salary am receiving. It is wisdom as you have rightly said, and young boys of these days does not know these.

I can tell you categorically that we are building a small house somewhere in Lagos, you will not believe i do save money in her own private account for that very project.

Like you said earlier even if i still receive a good money i will still let her to know since am already used to it.

I don't hid anything from her, and besides what am i even want to hide in the first place, i don't have a girl friend, the only problem we use to have before is drinking. But thank God i no longer drinks again.

And if i see anything i like i buy it and bring it home and she sees it.

That does not make me a fool, i knows what am doing.
Atleast am they one who bought all my electronics.

Listen there is no Angelic woman anywhere. Every woman is a cross, and nobody will carry your cross for you, and the way you carry this cross matter alots.

Do you read a post on nairaland here where a woman promise to pay 500,000 to kill her husband?

I know alots of women will tongue lash her for doing that, however they can also do it even more.

But sir, judging by what that woman said concerning her man, do you know that that man is very wrong,inhuman and wicked man.

Some stupid people says here that the man pays his tithe that why God deliver him, and they have forget that it is those innocent children that save him. Note this.

Wherever you see a Peaceful home, know it that the man of the house have sacrificed alots.

Beware of "Pastors!"
Only God know His own amongst them.

If God directs you to a Man of God, I do not have any problem. But when a man of God needs you, please be extra extra careful.

The major weakness among pastor-founder is growing their church. We are human beings no matter how spirit filled. We compare ourselves to others and if we are not careful, mamon will be the main reason why we grow our church. It is a stark reality.

Pls, tell them to hold on while you get direction from God.

But while you wait serving God joyfully where you are itnmay be 1-2 -3 or 4 years, things will fall into place.

From experience, we are prone to falling into satanic trap when we need to act quicklybor looses an opportunity. That is when your danger antenna should be very high up.

Hmm you have just made a good point now. I think i need to hold on now and pray and wait for Gods direction, while still continue from where i am now.

But believe me thats what leads me to this forum now.

And i don't know why this two church now decided to come at the same time.

Well, most men that don't want wahala will let their wives know how much they earn, otherwise the expectations will be too much.
Most people assume you earn more than you actually do and make unreasonable demands.
If as a man your salary isn't so great, and you can hardly keep up with payments, you had better let your wife know and face the reality. Her expectations and demands won't be unreasonable, and within your salary scale.
Some men even hand over their salaries to their wives. She supplements it with her own to run the house, pay household bills, school fees and all what not.
Though if you earn so much monthly, you can still get away with not letting her know cos you can always meet all demands. In fact, you see some really rich guys who live moderately, drive small cars, stays in a nice but small apartment who don't like an ostentatious lifestyle. Their wives will even be pitying them that they're demanding too much, not knowing they're wealthy .
But all in all, its a good idea to let your spouse know your earnings so you can all plan your spendings wisely.
She knowing how much you earn doesn't mean she's gonna be in charge of your finances especially if you don't trust her spending habits.

Everything that has an advantage also has a disadvantages.

My wife knows how much am earning, but not because am righteous but because my salary is not too good.

When i collect my salary i will bring it out completely, and we share it accordingly, you know what i mean? House rent, thought which comes up annually. Light bills, school fees, foods stuff, just name it, will be distributed accordingly.

When it has been exusted, then she will happily start from there. That's how i have been surviving this recession.lol..

But the disadvantage of it is that, no unnecessary spending again, lol. Thank God am not a womannizer or you just help anybody anyhow without her knowledge you must give account of it when you gets home. Lol. My brother it is not easy ooo.

But the funny part of it is that, i don't even care to know how much she has, i don't want to cause trouble in my house.
She is a business woman, had it been she is working, enhe, i would have jokingly or comfortably ask her how much she is earning.

Although my wife is a good manager.

I also want you to look at the area which am coming from. You know we are all human.

After my ordination, i took part in Sunday school teaching, bible study, and the rest of other activities which took place on every Tuesday. My G.o do call me to take Sunday massage on regular occasion. Evangelism yes i does that i much as i could remember, and some times in public buses.

Am a member of one of this ministers/christian body, which i have mentioned earlier, even my chairman will not believe am the one doing this here.

Just for me to show humility, you re suggesting that i should go back to the foundational or believers classes and start all over again?

2 this two churches barely came at the same time, after staying indoors for close to a year. The other pastor came three days after i started new church which am even still checking if it is a right place for me.

Believe me if am not a minister already i shouldn't have come up here in the first place, I will just continue where am.

But my problem now is, this two churches came barely at the same time, i felt i should join this young man whom i can easily relate to, then conveniently learn under him, he has pastored a church for closed to ten years, i feel i will be more relevant and active there than this new big church who has alots of ministers in place already.

The evangelism someone is talking about here, i can also do it with this small church infact do it more, judging by the size of the church.

As am talking to you now i have never even taking any decision.
Therefore it is wrong for anybody to judge me wrongly.

I have also come across knowledgeable, and spiritfilled persons on nairaland, which i believe i could learn one or two things from them. And that's why it is called a forum,

Sir before i forget this very pastor have never even approached me for anything. We have never talk to each other concerning this issue.

I came back from work and saw this pastor in my seating room with my wife, i never knew him from Adam. His wife is a friend to my wife they just come to pay us a visit, even my wife is a member of MFM she joined them when we left our former church. So after this couple left , she began to tell me the reason why they came, she was even the one advising me that since i have been at home all this years doing nothing at home, that she think it is better for me to joined this man since that has been what i have been longing for. And moreover it is closer to me and it is treakable. Rather than going to ikoyi, which i will not be able to attend some of their weekly service regularly. Believe me this things came inbetween three days interval when i started that church at V.I. Although the church have their free buses, that makes me even accept to worship with them in the first, judging by the distance.

That's why i said let me have the opinion of some people here first before i know what to do.

Alright dear, I don't want an honest brother to be confused that's why I responded. You can only fall from something if you have already attained that thing. I want you to realise that a person truly born of the Spirit does not love the world ( titles, position, recognition, promotion- that is the pride of life). So since you love these things...then....so do what I said in my first post and you will be good to go.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

The love of the Father is the Holy Ghost - born of the Spirit.
