@Princess When did you move from the smiling coast of West Africa to the jungle? ![]() @J-girl What would you call the kind of love you show to a stranger that you have never met before, is not in a position to reciprocate or show appreciation for your love, and who you will in all probability never meet again? |
Muki, i totally get you. When you love someone and he doesn't love you back it is like this unavoidable pain. But when the love is reciprocal, there is happiness and it is much better
There is pain because you expect to be loved back. Disappointment always comes with pain. Is there no such thing as unconditional love? "Love does not demand its own way" |
mukina2:But, princess, that cannot always be true. Life would be bleak if it were so! Surely there are many who have also loved you, even without your loving them in return? "Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance" |
"Love is not jealous or boastful or proud" Food for thought. |
mukina2:What?! Even you, princess? ![]() Why would you say that? |
Bhola:Bhola, why do you assume that I'm not married? |
![]() Let me know about your experiences with love. Is love unconditional? |
Louisiana - it is like in its 80, 90s - so hot
That would be in fahrenheits, I presume. Otherwise you wouldn't be at your computer! ![]() |
It's hot here too
Where is here? |
@Bhola OK then. Respect it is. I respect you. Now, can you please answer these questions? Thank you in advance. Are there different kinds of love? If there are, which is the best kind of love? When people say they are looking for 'true love', does it mean that there is false love? How is that possible? |
Bhola:I take it that you're not in short supply of love then. Apart from greens, what other modes of payment do you accept? ![]() |
*Pours some cold water over Diddy, Bhola and ToyM28* Now, can the education continue? |
Bhola:*sighs* So much for the benefits of love. . . . ![]() |
ToyM28:Ah! Curiouser and curiuoser! Should true love not look out for the good of the other party? If I truly have love for you, would it not mean that I would consider your own good, ahead of my own inconvenience? |
@Bhola Thank you. But my question still begs for an answer. |
Bhola:Would you consider doing it as a charity? How about love - can you not be paid with love? |
Bhola:That sounds a bit more sensible to me. |
I fail to understand, ToyM28. How can love be full of hurt? If love is reciprocal, where does hurt come into the equation? |
Bhola:As old as my tongue; a little older than my teeth. How old are you? |
@Eve What's that? I can't see it properly. . . is it a pigeon? ![]() |
true, love is not for small kids though it can happen at a young age. That is why people grow out of love because they grow more mature
Now it starts to become confusing. How can one grow out of love? That would mean that it wasn't love in the first place, wouldn't it? |
How much would you charge for a session with my brother Diddy? ![]() |
@Bhola What is your hourly rate? ![]() |
@ Eveseh I can only see two children, apparently playing. I cannot see any love. And if J-girl and ToyM28 are right, surely these children are too young to know the meaning of love? |
i heard something True love comes with pain. If there is no pain, there are no original feelings and then there is no love
Hmmm. . . that sounds risky. |
ToyM28:In other words, you have not experienced real love until there is pain attached to it? Is that really so? Must love and pain come in one package? I do not like pain. Do you? |
falling in love is a risk. I can't recognize it but you will know when it happens. I think falling in love is the best feeling ever but i don't know how to recognize it
Why does it have to be 'falling' in love? Can't it be 'standing' or 'sitting' in love? |
Does 'true' or 'real' love announce itself with trumpets and fanfare? Do you hear a voice saying "This is it"? Does the person's forehead glow with the inscription 'true love'? How do you recognise true love? |
I don't think love is prepared for that is why it hurts the most. All the experiences you go through are a sign of maturity for the real love.
How do you recognise 'real love'? |
@Diddy I'm glad to see that you feel better. You will get to feel a lot better, believe me. Monsieur Genial knows. |
@Diddy4dt Remember to acknowledge Monsieur Genial. Wounds always heal. Time heals all wounds. |
"Love does not uphold evil, but supports good". Why then do some jilted 'lovers' threaten their ex-lovers, sometimes even doing crazy things like applying conc. HCl? |
