Romance › Re: Is It A Crime For A Girl To Ask A Guy Out On A Date? by genius33: 4:41pm On Jun 21, 2008
@ topic

I don't think it's a crime but personally, I'd rather be asked out by the guy just cos I feel like I'm worth pursuing.
Romance › Re: Is This How To Ask A Girl Out? by genius33: 4:28pm On Jun 21, 2008
Some guy did that to me a while ago, he insisted he'd seen me in a train station one day when I never take the train, EVER! Guys it doesn't work really but nice try tongue
Romance › Re: Playing Hard To Get: Is It Really Necessary? by genius33: 4:05pm On Jun 21, 2008
To me it's sort of a test of commitment, to see if the guy/girl is serious about you and not after something else. Speaking from experience it's good to hold back a little at first, give in too easily and you can end up getting hurt. However, you shouldn't take it too far and make them feel like they havn't got a chance with you. If your interested tell them but you should also gaurd your heart (and your wallet) in case they aren't for you.  wink
Career › Re: Female, Wants To Be An Engineer? by genius33(op): 10:34pm On Jun 20, 2008

Romance › Re: Do You Believe In Love At First Sight? by genius33: 10:21pm On Jun 20, 2008
It's not love until you actually know the person, till then it's lust. Afterall, you wouldn't see an ugly person walking down the street and fall in love?

Jackal:
The man is the head of the house.
If a woman steps out of line in marriage, it is the duty of her husband to reprimand her accordingly.
So what happens if the husband 'steps out of line'?

Romance › Re: What Is The Right Age For A Lady To Get Married? by genius33: 8:44pm On Jun 20, 2008
@ post

If you want to have children then there is obviously a time limit, if not then the sky's the limit! I personally feel a woman should be independent before marriage i.e. they have a job,  personal income, and a home. Some men these days think they can treat their wives anyhow b cos she has nowhere to go. I mean it's easier to beat a housewife than it is to lay hands on the C.E.O. of her own company  grin
Family › Re: Mother-in-law Who Is Schizophrenic? by genius33(op): 8:27pm On Jun 20, 2008
Not to that extent no, it is something that can be treated with medication but it's incurable and comes and goes every few years. I was more concerned about the negative stigma it might have in the eyes of some people, would it be a turn off in a relationship?
Family › Mother-in-law Who Is Schizophrenic? by genius33(op): 7:24pm On Jun 20, 2008
Just a question I have. Could you marry someone who had a schizophrenic parent? Would finding out before marriage put you off that person? I really need some answers. Thanx
Family › Re: Absent Fathers by genius33(op): 6:55pm On Jun 20, 2008
The father still has right's and if he really wants to be in the child's life he would fight for them. Some just don't want to put the effort in but when the child is older and can look after them, that's when they remember they have a child.
Family › Re: I'm From A Broken Home, How Am I Different? by genius33: 5:31pm On Jun 20, 2008
I'm with Daprince 100% A perfect example is Barack Obama. I am sure his wife would be kicking herself right now, if she had said she wouldn't marry anyone from a broken home. Keep your head up, we just have to prove them wrong that's all.  wink

Family › Absent Fathers by genius33(op): 11:45am On Jun 20, 2008
Why do so many fathers these days feel it isn't necessary to take care of the lives they bring into this world? I am aware that certain circumstances, such as immigration may not permit them to be physically present but some just flat out refuse. Do they not realise that it hurts the child especially when they are ready to take care of other children they may have? All opinions are welcome  smiley
