I did wipe all data on recovery mode and everything was fine for like three weeks but installation of some basic apps like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, dictionary, bible et all, it started again

I got my redmi note 7 with variant 4g/126g last year without any issue but since I updated to MIUI 12.5.3 Android 10 it has been one issue to another. Right now I can't make call or receive call. If am on MX player, I can't insert earphone to the headjack, if I try it the phone will switch off. What could be wrong?

Just one of the many bugs from Xiaomi. See mine too. I have given up on trying to reduce it. It wouldn't go down below 10Gb no matter what I delete. As you can see, I don't have much apps and I don't keep videos on my phone but the "other" files keeps increasing.

Even with my 128GB that is almost full I don't get as much as this because I know what others mean and how to deal with it.

My mistake. But still it doesn't invalidate my statement that because two phones use the same sensor so you should expect similar outcomes. I have seen it times without number, that comment is false.

Now in the case of Redmi 10 vs Redmi Note 11.

Qualcomm has better ISP than MTK.

Also don't expect similar still photography on the RN11s/RN11 Pro 4G as compared with the RN10 Pro because they use similar sensors.

Redmi note 11 has the same camera sensor of redmi 10 hence the same scrappy and bad picture quality

Whereby redmi note 10pro and redmi note 11s has the same sensors which make is good for photography.

If you are onto budget (don't have enough money) and want a good photography camera, I advise you rather buy the redmi note 10s instead of note 11.

That note 11 is totally waste of money and piece of scrap (if only you are into photo) but the processor is mild ok.

Redmi Note 10 uses SONY IMX 582 (48MP)
Redmi Note 11 uses Samsung JN1 (50MP)


Can you explain how both sensors are the same?

Also using the same sensor will not guarantee the same output across two different models.

Always confirm your info before posting to avoid misleading others.

In this case RN10 has a better sensor IMO. The JN1 is an experimental sensor if you ask me and should be improved on in the next iteration. Same way GM2 was very much better than the GM1

Hello house! Please between redmi note 11 (SD processor) and redmi note 11s (mtk processor) which has better camera output for photography, and I'm thinking of using Gcam instead of the stock camera which doesn't usually clear enough.

And more over most mtk processor doesn't actually support gcam.

So I need help on this before I choose which phone to buy.

How will one person use both phones that just came out?

1. There are a lot of false statements in this write up especially the GCAM that statement seized with the Helio G90T.

2. The G96 is better than the SD 680 in most cases apart from die size.

3. The JN1 sensor on the RN11 isn't in anyway close to the HM2 sensor on the RN11s.

If you have been restarting your device successfully you most probably don't have the problem.

That won't stop it from deadboot. It is a hardware ish not a software problem.

Is your something not defined?

If you don't know some Redmi Note 8 shipped with the Sony IMX 582 sensor while a vast majority shipped with the GM1 sensor. You can't differentiate them by looking at the back.

There are two Global versions to match the number of CN Version but if you don't know how to differentiate simply buy the Chinese Version with both SPo and NFC

There seem to be no noticeable improvement in photography as well. Virtually everything else is same with the note 10 pro

RN11 series isn't meant for RN9s and above users

I wouldn't say negligence. The truth is the gap between flagships and midrangers are so narrow nowadays, doing so much for a midrange phone may just place it in the flagship bracket and honestly, it won't meet price requirements. The Redmi note 10 pro did way too much for a midrange phone. Trying to beat that would be very difficult tbh while putty price into consideration

The only Flaw in the RN11 Pro 5G is Videography and that is courtesy of Qualcomm who consciously refused to include 4K support.

Also there are no new 4G midrange Chipsets around at any OEMs disposal.

Blame the Chip manufacturers. All OEMs will be affected by this.
