1. Camera
2. Performance
3. Battery and durability

I intend to use the phone mainly for shooting and editing videos. I multi task and don't like having to close apps often.

If it is for videography on a budget go and look for a deal on an iPhoneX.

Battery won't be the best thing but it should serve your major purpose.

The only phones under 200k Xiaomi I can recommend for Videography are the RN10 Pro, Mi 11 Lite 5G and 11 lite 5G NE in no particular order.

Raya just returned my Sis Redmi 9T. They changed the motherboard and it's looking sharper than before, i am actually jealous. Wish they did same to mine instead of refunding. Only issue now is that after waiting for a month she bought a Samsung and want to sell the 9T. She already put it up on Jiji for N70,000 but if anyone is interested here just hit me up. Ghost touch is in most cases a hardware issue. You can try reinstalling your ROM to see if it solves it.

It's a 30W charger and battery is already full. It cools down once it's @79%-100%

Recently purchased the Redmi Note 11 after the screen of my Redmi Note 7 got damaged from mistakenly dropping it.

Well, I've got missed reaction with this RN11; I'm not very impressed. The device seem more like a downgrade down an upgrade.

My RN7 has a more premium feel than this device. The RN11 camera is extremely shitty compared to my RN7 although Xiaomi says the N11 is a 50MP. I don't see how this is true.

My N7 still manages to produce crisp images even in low lighting but this N11 crumbles flat! The camera is embarrassing for a brand that has consistently pushed the bar of excellence over the years.

If you're using RN7, 8, 9 or 10, and your device still works well, I see no reason why you should upgrade to Note 11. In fact, the RN10 has a better overall chipset performance than this RN11! Xiaomi ran out of ideas with this launch.

The only thing this device (RN11) has going for it is the AMOLED display 90Hz refresh rate. Which is not really all that spectacular after using the device over a day. The 90hz functionality begins to lag after using it for a long time.

The battery is okay. The 33W charges takes it from 0-50% in less than 30 minutes.

Gaming with this device is subpar. For a N116k+ device, all I can do is shake my head in disappointment... Xiaomi got this one wrong!

Probably the only thing I like about this device is that it's light weight; It's easy to hold. And for some reason, I haven't seen any intrusive ads within the MIUI skin. So, kudos to them for getting rid of it. Maybe.

My final verdict, I'll give this device a 4/10. My RN7 trumps this device in more ways than one; from hardware to aesthetics and to performance. The N11 is a downgrade and I got the 6gb/128gb variant.

Don't buy. Bump your budget and go for the RN10 pro or wait for future releases.

Ps: This is my personal opinion [which I'm entitled to] and it does not represent the idea of other users. Contrary views are welcomed.

1. The RN7 doesn't have better performance than RN11 in fact the processor on the RN7 is a power HOG.

2. The JN1 needs more optimisation. The RN7 camera wasn't fantastic at start in fact we were all here when they used to call the 48MP fake. Besides GCam is always there.

3. The sound system on the RN11 is still far better than RN7.

4. No need to get into the Charging department and battery department

I have handled both devices.

Fast charging works above 38° on my phone. This theory of urs is not generalised.

Let your phone be at 42⁰ and try it and give me feedback with a read from Ampere.

I'm using redmi note 11, 33w fast charging. When I first charge it's reached 100% from 68% within 30 minutes. The second time I charged, it picked 100 % from 0% in 1 hour 5 minutes, but the phone was off.
But now, it takes almost 2hrs to fully charge, while the phone is on (data connection off).
Recently, it took 1hr plus to top 100% from 44%...
Is this normal?

Phone and Battery temperature affects charging speeds always take note of that. Fast Charging doesn't work above 38.5⁰ .

Now put your phone on flight mode and dial the above code and set it to 4G. Now toggle on Mobile Radio power for some seconds then toggle it back off.

Now turn off flight mode. This method is also applicable to nTel and maybe smile.

Looks like my RN10P screen is going to the great beyond and will need a replacement.

Looks like a pixel is damaged inside, with its liquid gradually spreading across the screen. This is causing a pinkish ink across my screen, and it seems to be a common problem with Amoled from my research.

There's nothing that can be done really. It'll will eventually take over the whole screen.

The replacements I'm seeing are LCD, and I wouldn't want that.


Mine is not as bad as the internet samples below yet. But it'll eventually be. Unlucky me. Didn't even drop the phone or apply pressure as I'm always indoors.

How is heating issue on the Redmi Note 11s and Note 11pro. I hv nasty issues with over heating in MTK phones in the past. I hope that hv been laid to rest in all current chips in use. I hate having a phone I will use for one hour and be looking for freezer to cool it down.. I was seriously considering the Redmi Note 11 as it is Sdm but the reviews are not so good about so I am considering going fro something higher and those ones comes with MTK chips.
