Please I downloaded the latest MIUI Version yesterday but didn't install cos I was busy .

I tried updating it today after locating it from downloaded option via updates file and I got this error message. This is exactly what I downloaded yesterday

If it is a stable beta it is possible.

Thanks. I understand the symbol shows that an app has access to the camera and there are ways of either denying the access or turning of the notification depending on your preference.

As can be seen from the below it's even showing that no permission allowed which is what confuses me the more.

I have no problem with the app having access to my camera since I know what the access is needed for but I want to be able to remove the notification, but as shown in the screenshot I shared earlier, it's not even allowing me as the option to toggle notification is greyed out.

I'm thinking it's either there's some unfinished work with the ROM or there's some other settings I need to tweak to remove the notification.

I am open to learning something new.

On a closer look, I found out its miuibiometric. I have tried to remove the notification from the app settings but it's greyed out.

You are wrong.

That camera symbols comes when you open an app that has access to your phone camera.

You're right....But it seems the higher the version code, the higher the priority for Xiaomi phones. RN10Pro has alwaz been ahead. My observation though

And besides, you've been quiet lately about these updates. Seems you've not been given yet?

Not true as for the higher the code. Backend tests are ongoing before pilots or public betas to stable beta before the public stable. I can't type so much for you to get these but know that there are roms that get built and never released to the public.

Either you are installing an app for a different architecture or an app that is confiicting with an existing setup.

And for clarity Xiaomi Mi 9t or Redmi 9t?

My first issue was the charger having two pin instead of normal three I am used too.meanig the charger head won't last and difficulty charging anywhere (get matches thicks my pocket). pending when I will replace the charger.

Secondly, I need to take some pictures randomly and unexpectedly and the camera keep closing. " Phone temperature is too hot" is the response I am getting.

1. It is a big time Lie. I used Samsung S4 charger with two pins from 2013 - 2018 when I gave it out. My RN5 had two pin and it is still with the person I gave the phone to.

2. All Laptops I have used, I always prefer the 2 pin plug for ease of plugging.

Pins has nothing to do with a charger lasting because the 3rd pin for 3 Pin head is not connected. Phone adapter's don't use fuses like Old Stabilisers or Electronic devices that used to have a fused plug head and it is plainly written for all to see.

So whoever gave you that idea has misled you to the highest point that you need a reorientation.

You can take your time and watch reviews of recent flagships or midrange from other OEMs other than the transsion family and comeback with a feedback on how many OEMs still pack in 3 pin globally apart from UK specific devices because of their standards.

I have noticed something with this 9T, is like the variants that have this deadboot are mostly 4-64gig. Am yet to see the 6-128gig have this issue.

My Redmi 7 went off why i was using it, try to put it on back it get stock at the redmi logo, did factory resetting by pressing power and volume keys together e no work, till it got angry and went off patapata
I changed two battery e still no work I just have to order new motherboard from AE and now am enjoying my Redmi 7 to the fullest

If you didn't have money for new phone yet ypur best bet is a new motherboard from AE

That processor on that device was always a headache, that is why Xiaomi or any other OEM avoided it.

It may be a battery or Power IC thing. Redmi 7 hasn't received any update in a long while so it has absolutely nothing to do with update. And someone I know that uses the device says his is fine.

Please I need help, my redmi 9t has the deadboot issue but a technician was able to power the phone on, since then I have not allowed the phone to go off. I received a notification for a new update but ignored it because I don't want the phone to restart. I got to work to and connected to the WiFi as usual, when I picked my phone it was off. I tried turning it on, lucky it did but it took longer to boot. Now all functions relating to sound is not working, no sound when I play music, make calls, it keeps hanging when I play videos also no sound , I connected to my Bluetooth speaker still no sound, it's not reading my earpiece. The power button does not turn off the screen but it wakes it if the screen is black. Please who has experience such before and any solution
