Pro Max is for India and it is the same specs as the Global Pro minus the absence of Global 4G bands

Bottom line is stick to Global Versions.

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Android system only increases when your phone is on idle mode or when you use heavy themes.

Poco X3 NFC wasn't launched in Nigeria officially so you can't get it in stores. Macbeyland has for 120k.

For a phone that was not officially sold in Nigeria, getting accessories alongside your conditions will be extremely difficult. Better order from AliExpress where they will deliver to a post office near you when they deliver

What l am reading about redmi note 10 pro getting warm! Please confirm and verify very well because l plan to buy it this week or next latest, if it gets too warm unnecessary maybe l should just stick with my VIVO that phone seems that there is a refrigerator in it.

If you want to buy make your decision quick before the prices will skyrocket because of demand and scarcity. I haven't seen complaints of overheating from even Indians who complain a lot. His phone been warm is normal especially if you are in a climate like ours.

Even if it were 4/128GB variant your asking price is quite on the high side. Because people get used RN9s less than that

Now if you are changing your RN8 the Vanilla RN9 shouldn't be a consideration, rather RN10, RN9s, RN9 Pro, RN10 Pro.

Sell your phone and get something new, swap will be difficult.

Goldway is a legit store but the problem is Logistics for the past few months people who order Xiaomi phones from AE hardly ever gets them.

You should have bought when Xiaomi Nigeria brought the Poco M3 to their official stores on Jumia but they are well out of stock.

Thank you. Now the thing is I have a long cable I bought from those wheelbarrow people. It is about 1m long and is a data cable.. Tried it on the follow come charger, it just quick charged (on Ampere app, it clocked around 1.8-2.1A) . I tried a "new age" data cable too in same charger head, it quick charged
But using the follow come USB cable, it turbo charged. (on ampere app, it clocked around 3.3A). I am trying to figure out the logic behind it cos I intend getting a charger I will be moving around with me when mobile, and leaving the original one at home. Can someone please shed more light?

Follow come cable is 3A while the new age is at most 2.4A

I think Turbo Charge is more of Xiaomi's own proprietary charge system,while Quick charge is more industry standard..
My thoughts though..
