Downloading. Will this installation reset the phone in any way?
Nope.

When you install, force restart (Hold power button for 10-15seconds) your phone randomly at least twice.

It's even unreasonable to be comparing 2 service providers while discussing with either. When you knew A provides it, why going to B? You compared my service cuz I said I don't do it, that's the end of the convo. Go with the provider that gives what you want/need and stop disrespecting another.

guy i didn't get this
It is some.

Mi 10 lite and Mi Note 10 lite are two different phones.

Mi 10 lite is a 5G phone in the Mi 10 family, The Mi Note 10 lite is the smaller of the Mi Note 10 family.

Mi 10 lite has a 48MP main sensor, the Mi Note 10 lite a 64MP main sensor.

Mi Note 10 lite is available here, Mi 10 lite isn't. So which are you talking about because people mix them up easily.

Your network self is on it's own level of bad. And this is the EU Version. Hmmmmm.

Did you disable WiFi and Bluetooth Scanning?

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 10 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

thanks for your explanation.. i see the term superior doesn't go well..

ok please throw more light on RN9pro vs Mi 10 lite.. thanks
Mi 10 lite and note Mi 10 lite is different from Mi Note 10 lite. And if you are still talking RN9 Pro Vs Mi Note 10 lie, it is Mi Note 10 lite.

I heard people suggesting 9s. Between that and 9pro which is more superior though I know RN9pro is more expensive
It is not a superiority contest. RN9Pro and RN9S is a matter of choice and what you can do with/without.

Apart from Main Camera 64MP Vs 48MP, Charging 30W(33W charger provided) Vs 18W(22.5 W charger provided) and presence of NFC on RN9 pro.,Every other thing is the same.

Now you are now faced with what do I fancy or what I don't fancy, do the differences spur me to spend extra or not.

So you can now see it is not a matter of superiority.

For one your free space can't even do any update and you cut out some parts of this screenshot.

The Update after this one is Android 10.

Instructions on manual updating was posted earlier use it as a guide.

Hey guys! I'm seeing this MIUI12 stable update available on my device update section. Please can I go on and download the file and update? I don't know whether its safe cos I'm enjoying my MIUI11, but a stable and more optimised update could be better. Thanks
Please advise

I kid you not bro
Not the theme
My MTN isn't showing 5g( showing H+) but my Airtel is showing 5g here in Lagos.
Then your network provider is messing with you.

SD 665 is neither a 5G Chipset nor does Redmi Note 8 have a 5G Modem.

Good Morning fam,
Please I have some questions to ask

1) after updating the miui and rebooting it immediately do I still need to do hard reset by pressing the power button for 15 seconds

2) can you help me on the process to change fonts and how do I get a nice theme for my phone

3) is having a mi account compulsory

I anticipate your enlightening response. Gracias
1. Hard restart not Hard reset. It is not compulsory but advisable.

2. All can be done from the theme app, there are some themes you can only get in India region, fonts too India region. Since you are just starting, set a theme of choice first then choose a font when you are done change your region back to Nigeria. Region can be changed in additional settings.

3. It is not compulsory but it is highly advised. For security reasons(especially in the case of theft)

genius.43 u no see dis man
1. It isn't my duty, whatever I do here is out of benevolence not a duty, I am not been paid for it, neither am I in anyway affiliated with Xiaomi Nigeria.

2. If I didn't respond, either I didn't see it or I have barely had time to look through the thread.

I am a Xiaomi user just like everyone here and I am sure there are others who could have attended to that. Font changing is not a big deal.

Don't mind her silly lies, they started the dragging. Way before the night she made reference to in her post. They started dragging her for picking Kidd, the golddigger lines came from there, then she had sex with Kidd and the olosho and Whorica lines joined, all these were way before the night Safari called him a rapist which she apologized for.
The rapist and cultist comments didn't start from safari, that.igboman started it way before then.

@genius.43 and others that could be of help
Good dayb

I'm currently considering joining the xiamio family by purchasing Redmi note 9 (4+128), but I read some reviews on gsm arena that are discouraging. The complaints majorly are abt the processor (G85- how it's inferior and not for gaming) and the battery ( how it takes hours to charge and discharges quickly upon usage).

Please, I need my bosses that are tech-savvy to enlighten me about my choice of phone. And that's about the chipset (how good, reliable it is), the battery (how strong and lasting it is upon usage), it's gaming ability and comparison of the phone with its note 9s variants.

Thanks
1. G85 isn't poor but I feel it is poorly optimised
2. Like the RN9S, RN9 charges at 18W and 1hr 45mins is still a good enough charging time.

I am not so much freaked about fast Charging because of battery longevity.

If you are concerned about the G85 then consider buying the RN9s, it is a better device.
