If you're experiencing data zapping on your device, kindly do this tweaking.

Settings > Sync > Mi Cloud > Disable the gallery sync.

Turning off your auto sync will disable your email sync which is not recommended for those that uses office email or have active emails.

So I have used the Redmi K20 pro for aver 24hours now. Yea, the camera is cool, the amoled screen looks amazing, the overall performance is not bad. I am not a gaming person so in the longrun the 855sd doesn't really standout for me, I am not a picture freak, therefore the camera is just there, praying my woman doesn't see it.
For me 4 things stands out in a phone in no particular order 1:Screen size( I like them big)
2:Battery Size (I don't like always plugging my phone to charge), 3:Ram, internal Memory and smooth operations,
4: Overall built
Now in comparison wuth my Mi Max 2, the redmi K20 pro feels somehow too small holding it in my hands... I am so struggling with it the smallness
As per battery, my mi max 2 is still a monster even after 2 years.
As regards smoothness of operations, for day to day use, browse, make calls, do some transactions, read the k20 pro isn't really that far ahead of mi max 2.
Its seems xiaomi and these other companies only reserve large memories for these top tier devices.
Then for the overall built, the K20 pro is miles ahead of my mi max 2.
My personal verdict, there is nothing so special about the k20 pro, infact I already feel like selling it. As of today, the phone will be up for sale come 5th January 2020, I want to see if it would grow on me else I am selling it and waiting for any big screen device that would deliver rugged efficient service for me.

Good day. Please I use d redmi note 8 and I've installed gcam. My issue with d gcam especially the selfie is that it doesn't smoothen the pix it takes even with the face retouching on. Is anybody experiencing same?

I used the redmi note 7 with gcam and it works perfectly

We the new users of Xiaomi, we actually can't use 1/16 of the features of these gadgets but we just like the satisfaction that "they said our phones can do this and that"... You'll notice battery life gets discussed here much more than new features. Lol. SOT this SOT that...

i was scrolling through my messages (sms) all of a sudden my WhatsApp appeared in a column .. i can drag it around the screen and adjust it too..

i know this is a feature but i dont know how i did it...

At least, 10 hours sot is what I consider a good battery. My battery barely lasts 7 hours now, and I'm not a heavy user. What I mostly use on my phone is Microsoft Excel, word, and PowerPoint. I don't even use WhatsApp that much, because I don't chat. I don't have either of Facebook or Instagram, so what exactly is consuming my battery? All I do all day is type with my Microsoft word .

I eventually got this fixed. I flashed the fastboot rom through MiFlash. Apparently the phone has some damage to the power button and volume buttons and that's the reason it wouldn't respond to any of those buttons while stuck on startup.

I took it to an engineer to open the phone and press the power button and co directly on the panel, and viola! It worked. Can't believe something as simple as that has prevented from using the phone since July

Good morning,please I am experiencing two problems with my Redmi note 8
1. I don't know which app is zapping my data,I have activated background data restriction but it's still the same.
2. this device has a poor ram management(I use the 3gb ram variant) after opening a few apps the device lags,maybe there is something I'm not doing right.

I've chatted with him. The problem is his SD card. Just confirmed it's not original. I've referred him to Jboixxx.

When he removed his SD card from his phone, the phone got faster with everything.
