Not much, the bootloader comes Unlocked, meaning some apps like Netflix, DStv Now and some other apps that see Unlocked bootloader as a security flaw won't work. And if the bootloader is not properly unlocked it might be bricked and the process of repair is not as easy as other Xiaomi devices with Snapdragon Processor so thread carefully.

I would still advice if you are getting the RN8 PRO get the Global Version.

The one of 71k is Global ROM(Chinese Version with Global ROM flashed on) and not Global Version. And the CN version has way lesser LTE Bands than the Global Version and it is missing that of MTN(both bands) and the most common of Glo(Band 28).

Sometimes don't let price lead you.

Don't neglect phones external temperature (environmental factor).

I have experienced this more times than I can count, anytime there is a heatwave. And if your phone is black with a black pouch, sorry.

I bought this phone 2008, it could only take two MP3 songs from waptrick at the expense of games. My ringtone then was "No Air"

For now the only method to make V7 work on Redmi 7 involves rooting from what I got from XDA.

This method of Shipping is not Trackable once it leaves China.

If you don't get a call from Post office, go and check if it has arrived.

RN8 uses Google(Stock Android) Dailer, so I doubt if it has that feature.

It shows 4g but I don't think it gives the expected speed.

They might just still be testing their new band 3 which is the only Glo 4G band your device supports in your location.

Also 4G speeds is location dependent. In my place of work Airtel 3G is faster than 4G.

Not most, it depends on the Developer.

For instance BSG Mods have no config files but some of Xtreme does. Bulkin(parrot043) only started using config files on his of recent but his last two stable release don't make use of config files.

San1ty also don't use configs for his mods. So you can't say most Gcams, by basing your judgement from Parrots' releases.

And yes the most common GCam for RN7 then by BSG and Bulkin didn't make use of configs.

Global Version won't be that far. Competition is stiff now to waste much time. The CC9Pro global Version release was just two days apart.

Those are questions you should have asked before, not after.

Yes and No, Yes it supports Glo 4G if you are in areas where Glo have deployed their new band 3 and no if your area currently still have only band 28.

The rollout is still going on, so be hopeful.
