You should know by now that there are always themes incompatibility anytime a new MIUI Version is out except you are a new user that's why old folks are not in a hurry. Some wait three months for stability if they love themes by then there will be MIUI 11 versions of their favourite themes

That's what I meant when I said your phone doesn't have a dedicated GCam port yet. Be patient for XDA people to discover a perfect/close to perfect one for Redmi 8

Go through my posts if it is GCam V7 but note that apart from night sight, V6 outputs IMO is still better

How do I "choose update package" though?

Go to system update click on the MIUI icon 10 times. Then click on the three vertical dots at the upper right corner you should see choose update package then locate the downloaded ROM and keep your data ON

Go to the theme app and search any of these; Aafont, Free or Moby Fonts.

When they appear click on more and install and apply anyone you like.

The Note 8T is not meant for everyone. Some countries in Europe with high NFC adoption and probably India and China are the ones getting it.

That is the current version. The Global ROM is yet to receive MIUI 11.

Well, the performance is not better on the Redmi 8. Although, it is cheaper.

Now, the SD439 on the Redmi 8 is on par with the old SD625 but not on par with SD632 on the Redmi 7.

The guy thinks I'm spiting his device but I'm not. If Redmi 8 has a SD630 SOC at least, I'll get even if the price is more than that of Redmi 7.

To add. The battery performance of the Redmi 7 is still rated over the Redmi 8 despite the 5kmah capacity.

But the Redmi 8 has a slightly better main camera than the Redmi 7.

Redmi 7 houses a slightly bigger display 6.26" as against 6.22" on Redmi 8
