None, but I never told you I needed the 128gb version, not everyone fancy storing things up in the phone. Respect yourself.!

Get yourself any of Huawei or Transsion product that suits your taste. No need for the rants.

Sad to say some ignorant folks will still buy the phone, even if it is 70k.
Some people fear change that is why they remain chained to what they are used to.

Very true, that's how someone ended up spending over a 100k on Samsung A5 because of fear of the unknown ( in this case Xiaomi)

Let me set this machine to something more meaningful to me

You need to unlock your bootloader to do that. Why not install GAPPs and enjoy your device.

Yes.

Get an OTG flash at least 64Gb and keep your movies there make sure you leave the format in FAT32 for you to be able to write to the flash

What!
64gb is small na.

A quality 1080p movie is about 1.6gb to 2gb up...
When you have about 20 of them, coupled with quality series and other things (music et al), 64gb wouldn't even be enough.

Do you store the movies on your phone?

There's official global rom for redmi 6 pro now.

Not aware of that but if that is the case it's good news then

does this mean the phone is forever stuck on the fake rom with no chance for an update? Any remedy?

If the bootloader is unlocked you can try to flash the Chinese ROM

Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 7:38am On Mar 08, 2019

NessieRey:
why is this?

A fake ROM is installed. That phone Redmi 6 pro, Mi 6x, Mi 8SE don't have official global ROM because they were specifically made for the Chinese market. So any Global ROM you see on these phones are fake ROMs

Custom charge 7k? Which post office is that? And why is a phone that is not even up to 1kg being charge for 7k?

I have never experience this in the post office I make use of.

That is because customs haven't intercepted any of your package, last year someone was billed 12k

That's not true, the Mi 9 SE is no where near the Mi 8 in terms of camera, the Mi 9 SE is in the league of the likes of the Redmi note 7.

It has the same sensors as the Mi 9 itself

what is different between redmi 5 plus & redmi note 5? which one support portrate camera without root?

Redmi Note 5 has portrait mode. But if you are thinking GCAM Redmi Note 7 is the way

As for the differences, Redmi Note 5 has dual cameras as compared to the single one of the 5 plus

Redmi Note 5 has Snapdragon 636 as opposed to the 625 found on the Redmi 5 plus
