Posting is based on discipline and vacancy slots. It has nothing to do with individual score. Interview is meant to determine those who will join the corporation. That is where it ends. I'm not sure there is any organization that determines posting based on interview scores.
So I will advise not to build unnecessary tension inspired by anxiety and which can lead to delusion.

Like Jarus said, go to naijahotjobs (which was the hottest job site back then in 2012), and you will see people still hoping for 2nd NNPC list seven years after!

In 2012, all the successful underwent a 2 (or was it 3?) weeks orientation program in the Abuja headquarters. During that period, medical examination and security screening were performed. Also, we registered our banks.

After the orientation, the non-STEM GTs and experienced hires were posted immediately to different subsidiaries. And it's all dependent on your discipline. For instance, all the microbiology / biochemistry graduate that I met during orientation were posted to refineries as safety officers. A friend who studied quantity surveying was posted to IDSL, while a number of accountants were posted across several subsidiaries (accountants are needed everywhere) Experienced hires were posted based on their discipline and the role they applied for. Many experienced geologists were posted to IDSL and NETCO.

The STEM graduates had to undergo 9 months intensive training called FSTP (cant remember the full meaning but TP means training program). I was told that the overall best graduates per discipline were sent abroad for further studies. But the rest were posted based purely on their discipline and had nothing to do with their training score. Most chemical engineers ended up in the refineries; most petroleum engineers ended up in NPDC, and so on and so forth. A few who had solid network influenced their posting (typical everywhere even in private firms). Married ladies had the opportunity to choose the state of preference. For instance, a friend whose family was based in PH chose PH. She was posted to PH refinery.

This was all in 2012. Things might be different now.

1) THE OBLIGATORY FEES
a) Acceptance fee #64,500
b) Prospectus fee #7,500 at pg school
c) Departmental dues ranging from #3k -20k (depending of department)

2) THE TUITION FEE

Hi patrickpopoola, Unilag does not accept HND for PGD program me for all its academic masters programme, the only course I know that accepts HND for pgd is biomedical engineering, however, there are professional masters Programme you can do straight with your HND without needing to do a postgraduate diploma to be qualified.

A single misinformation can ruin the entire admission process if you are not careful, its very important that from the onset, you have confirmed that you meet the prerequisite for your choice course of study. Academic masters are more strict than professional masters as the former ensures that you are already in that line of study to continue otherwise u must take a PGD to switch, for instance a Bsc in mechanical engineering cannot apply for Msc computer directly except you apply for PGD computer science first, otherwise u will be denied admission. So I will advice that you confirm your eligibility first before proceeding

Good morning suspect33, the truth is if I'm to advice you I may say you should go for data science or A.I (artificial intelligence) but the truth still remains you need to know what you want first and foremost, then go for it. Hnmm, look at the future leaders of Nigeria speaking, I feel very bad going by some comments I've read, the educational system in nigeria has produced more intelligent talkers than action takers and thats why we are still where we are today, future leaders who can't spot potentials in the midst of mediocrity ,future leaders who can't spot and encourage dreams in the midst of reality, future leaders who would rather concentrate on the 1% bad and see no lesson to learn from the 99% good, The government is not our problem, they are just part of it. For your information, a boy who is zealous enough to produce the model (a simulation) of an airplane is fully aware that it can fly too, and dont sound too intelligent to forget that nobody dreams of building an airplane without the ultimate dream of seeing it fly. Instead of asking him to quit or calling it a waste of time, be a dreamer like him and show him how to make it fly. Nigeria is full of intelligent minds who knows what is novelty and what is mediocrity, yet we are no where near technological advancement and nobody is ready to start the movement, instead we display intelligence that takes us nowhere down talking others. To all that called this airplane model, rubbish and a waste of time, your intellect doesn't appeal to me, I somehow think you are childish in your minds. You don't know how things works.

well, first of all let me point out that as at 4th of january 2018, the result was already uploaded last year for the previous set, hence ASUU strike is the only reason why the result isnt yet uplaoded but one thing to note is that the results are already out at each departments, so if u are free, u can visit your department to check ur result, all the best.

Now listen Carefully, the exam contains 60 objective questions, 30 questions will be repeated word for word from last year's past question (contact me asap if you don't have this), the remaining 30 questions will be lifted from an Indian site called indiabix, as regards text books, u will need a few, machine design, strength of materials, production engineering, automobile workshop e.t.c but if u can read up on indiabix u are good to go.

As we await the date for the entrance exam to be announced, by now we should have an idea of what the exam we are writing looks like, what the time duration is, written or cbt, where questions could likely be set from, because to be honest go most exams questions are lifted from particular sites

You exam pass will be made available on your application portal a week to exam, will update you once it's out, just keep tabs with this thread
