The T. Shirt selling, do you know how viable it is? Well I think it should be, both online and offline. This is the first time I'm coming across the business model, so I don't know anything about it, I'll also be interested if anyone can share what it fully entails.

Hello Alhajipablo,

If you are interested, you can drop your email here. I'd forward a manual to you.

ONLINE BUSINESS MODELS

I know so many Nigerians are building businesses online and generating income for themselves everyday.

I have come across quite a number of business models which are but not limited to;

1. Running Ecommerce store.(Jumia,Konga,Personal Ecommerce store)

2. Freelance services (Fiverr et al)

3. Affiliate marketing (Clickbank and JVZoo)

4. Domain flipping

5. Website flipping

6. Media buying.(Facebook ads, Google ads and GDN,Twitter ads, Native ads)

7. Kindle Publishing

8. Teeshirt selling (Teespring et al)

9. MLM/Networking

10. Consulting services.(Website design, conversion and optimisation, SEO and Social Media)

These and many more business models exist for one to explore.

So which one should I start out with? *indecisive*

Atimes when you have too many options, you find it hard to choose.

That is the spot I find myself right now.

Am at the point of making decision on choosing one.

Perhaps you can suggest one?

I welcome all suggestions. Thanks for reading.

P.S By the way am not afraid of failing.

Even if I fail in any of the models,I have just learn one way of how it cannot work yea? Good.

Hi NL,

Happy new month everyone!

This is the last month of the year,2016.

May every hanging blessings remaining for the year come to us speedily. Amen.

So am starting this thread for a purpose.

I work at a dayjob that keeps me at work for an average of 12 hours every day. I have always thought of creating another source of income online.

I have read a lot of ebooks on different business models but the truth is I have not taken lots of action on most of what I read; a terrible weakness on my part.

While my online source of income at the moment is my job (and I can be fired anytime),I want to think out of the box and take action.

I want to change and do something for myself!

And I want to change now!!!

I am going to use this medium to chronicle my journey into the online business space.

I am going to share with you my struggles and my failures.

I am doing this for a reason.

To keep me accountable and to keep taking action till I get results.

And who knows? Perhaps I will be able to look back in the next one year and see some amazing results and perhaps I will inspire someone as well.

I hope to God am able to achieve this.

THE ONLINE BUSINESS SPACE

Like I said earlier,am not new to the online space.

I know there are way too many online business models one can harness to make money online.

By online business model,I mean a particular set of strategies used to make money online.

Before I go on, I want to point out this mentality that unfortunately I possess.

It is this "I want to make money online" mentality.

I really think it is one of the mindsets affecting me from actually making any money.

When I think this way,it makes me feel like I want to grab from another individual.

Having that mindset switch me on to an opportunity seeker; It makes me want to grab without giving.

So....

THE VERY FIRST WEAKNESS AM ADDRESSING

I have decided to change from the mentality of "I want to make money online to "I want to build a business online".

Will this mentality help me in the long run? Does it even make any difference?

It is too early to tell now.

But let us see how far it will get me.

SO, AM ON A JOURNEY OF BUILDING A BUSINESS ONLINE.

I really wish I could write like you, a four year old would understand everything you have written here.

I also moved to business section about two years ago from family section, and since then, a month has not passed without me making money outside my salary. From fixed deposit to treasury bills to group importation to properties to forex to farming to distribution. They were all hits back to back, all from ideas and thoughts gotten from this section.

I would like to be involved with whatever you are up to. It would be an honour to work with people who has the same thought process as I do. I love you already.

AllGood: This is partcularly for Abuja peeps.
I had my 1st and 2nd interview on Friday May 31 and June 1, respectively. I happened to be one of the very few that had their 2nd interview early on Saturday morning. But unlike what transpired the previous day, when 'successful' candidates were given medicals 'go-ahead', myself and about six guys that had their 2nd interview earlier on Saturday were asked to leave, that DB were gonna get back to us. The DB guy story was that they were trying to decongest the building as there were too many candidates around.
However, about the time I was getting to Lokoja (on my way back to Lagos that same day), I called a friend that I left in the building and he claimed to have had his 2nd interview, and was also on his way to have his medicals. He claimed that the guy in charge of the medicals 'thing' later showed up.
I just wanna confirm if there's anyone with same fate as mine in the house. How does one go about this?

NB: That my guy claims that the 'medicals letters' of those of us that left earlier on were also printed, and the names called out to check if we were still around. As a matter of fact, he claims to have heard my name on the list.

AllGood,
All hope is not lost believe me. That guy asking you to leave also asked some of us,including me to leave as well but I didn't. Was he wearing a short-sleeved shirt?

Anyways,if u r on bb,add me up so I can make a few suggestions on what you should do?

Business / Re: Using Payoneer Account To Verify Paypal - Be Aware of Latest (Updated) Info by geniuspro: 4:02am On May 29, 2013
arbitrage: Hi Guys,

I have followed some threads and contributed here about using your Payoneer US Bank account details (as stated on their site anyway) to verify your PayPal account. It honestly worked and showed verified status for me when I opened it in April. I never checked my email until now that I just logged into Paypal this evening and also checked my email to see the Payoneer limitation that you may need to be aware of.

The Payoneer card successfully verified the PayPal account and apart from PayPal status changing to verified, I used it same time to transfer funds between my former verified Paypal account to confirm its functionality. I transferred to and fro and it worked. Then I proceeded to use the Paypal withdrawal menu into my Bank account. Successfully submitted, PayPal sent me email to confirm that the bank transfer process will usually be completed in 2-4 business days to my linked Payoneer's US bank account.

I never bother to check again until now that I logged in today to see the PayPal account status changed again to unverified. Then I checked the email to find the reason was the Payoneer's US bank account as you can see in the attached email below. PayPal could not successfully deposit the money into the account, as the bank returned it as invalid bank account.

Lesson to learn: Use your Payoneer account details to verify your PayPal successfully but never bother to use it as a means of withdrawal from PayPal as it will not be successfully be deposited into. Whereas, PayPal will have no choice but to remove the banking details from your PayPal account, thereby rendering it "unverified" with limits to how much you can send or receive per month.

Hi arbitrage,

Thanks for your usual enlightening contribution.

I am yet to have my payoneer card neither do I have my paypal account yet. So am not writing from an authoritative point of view.

But then I was reading thru payoneer's website when I stumbled on one of their services known as US Payment Service(USPS).

This service is to help you withdraw your funds from paypal and other companies into your payoneer card.

They have a list of companies that they accept payment from. And all cardholders can apply for this USPS by sending them an email.

Your payment will go through between 1-7 days.

However, you cannot transfer funds from USPS to paypal. Doing that will terminate your account.

You can read more at http://www.payoneer.com/USPService-FAQ.aspx

Hope someone find this useful.

Abayomi can never change!

Duped a friend of 100k in 2011 too for some cheap domains promising to flip it in 3 months time. For where?

He wont pick calls. We had to console our friend to move on. The simple truth is this.

Nairaland is a place you can ask questions and get answers. Yes there are people that dupe people on NL yet there are people that help people right here.

I don't know how you can track that dude down. If you can, good for you. But if you can't, just move on.
