One wrong slip while using that strong rope and a person would have gotten swept away in the fast-moving flood waters. Without a strong mental attitude and physical fitness, anyone of these dudes could have been swept away by the dirty flood waters.

After watching that short video, I'm glad the men all made it to safer grounds tbh.

I didn't see the other man in white singlet made it out. He couldn't use the rope and went back into the truck abi una watch am from somewhere else

Tell your kids to return a slap if they're slapped, and be in their schools the next morning to defend them before the principal.

You're right. I also came across this on a group on Facebook. Train your kids to fight back in any situation. They must not be bullied or harassed...

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Quitting A Job Within A Month: Share Your Experience by Gentlesoul2021(m): 6:30pm On Apr 24
In my case, I worked up to 7-8 months but it was hell. . .

This is an hotel owned by a former governor managed by one wicked chairman...

He talk down on people anyhow, and fond of saying he's untouchable cos he's a politician and roll with high Caliber. He curses employee even beat up a guy at a point. Well I was praying at some point he'd beat me and I will strike back then take issues up with him, very useless person.

People think we the workers are enjoying like mad since it was owned by a former governor and all form of dignities lodge there.

My employment contract stated different role but I was moved to a different department to work, not quite long, I was moved to another as one of their old staff angrily resigned cos of the man abuse.

In space of 4-5 months I was moved or will I say yeye promotion thrice, yet salary didn't improve. It got to a point I was the only one working in the store department, doing all the work, a big hotel.

There was a new building extension they were doing that time as well, and I was the one also supervising the store where all materials are kept, I'd be the one receiving and issuing out every bullshits concerning the site.
The site engineer and architect pitied me at some point and protested the company employ an assistant for me yet they kept giving excuses.

All these are totally off the job description I signed.

I lost everything in me, I was a shadow of my self. I started loosing weight that the attraction of people got to me and they started asking me to go for check up.

Haaa ino contact any thing oo I do shout.

I had little sleep, we resume by 7am and closes God knows time and the closing time on the contract stated 5pm. There was a time I got home by 12am and I'd resume by 7am again the next day which I do wake up by 4 or 5am.

The company do recruit here and there, very useless place. I could remember we were 12 that came in, in my batch, 6 made out just after a week. Hard working old staff, all left but the chairman believe in soldier comes and go, barrack no dey empty. Very intelligent individual has left that place.

The chairman was dating the deputy general manager and the woman is so wicked. She collided with some set of official to kick out the general manager and she was installed as the GM. The previous GM was a very wicked man, always bad report about staff. He would collide with the chairman during the days he was the chairman's favourite to sack any staff. He was behaving irrational and vile and he got his share before he willingly resigned. Man had high blood pressure 😂🤣 due to constant abused, threats, and queries from the chairman.

The treatment was just so bad, over use of staff and staff shortage. A person can be doing the work of 3 people yet collect salary of just one person.

No good company management, everybody working for the purpose of eye service in courtesy of the so-called chairman.

Co-workers will be shouting on each other, no coordination and no professionalism. Manager will be giving bad report concerning his team members, it got to a point there were party in the company and they were fighting physically and even otherwise.

My mental health moved from bad to worse, I had to tender resignation letter which they rejected, which I battle it out with them and exit that evil place.

It seems this is the new scam in town now... They almost scammed a POS agent closer to my house yesterday.... As the lady told us... She said they are 3 in number on the bike... The two at the back came down to meet the pos agent while the bike man was sitting on the bike... She said the guy wanted to withdraw 51000k including the 1k charges.. the pos agent press 5he 51k on the terminal while she handed the terminal to the guy to press his pin for 5he transaction to be finalized.... This guy just removed one of the four zeros the lady typed on the pos to make it 5100.... He then press the pin and the transaction was successful and writing on the screen.... Most of the machines like opay and monie point doesnt display the amount after successful transaction.... It will only write successful on the screen.... The lady just went straight to the transaction on his own opay app to check and that's when she found out it was 5100 and not 51000.... Immediately those guys knew what was going on... They couldn't wait to collect 5he card and the said cash.... They ran with the bike man

The lady for withdraw more in their account. useless thieves. . .

I had experience three cases like that, happened to people I know

One was a POS guy and got duped of 20k.
The other is a lady who sent her life saving of 120k to a guy he met online from Lagos to send her clothing materials which she can resell in her state.
The third one happened to someone like a mother to me. A tricycle rider made away with goods worth over 250k meant for her son's wife. The woman left something at the place she bought goods and told the rider to wait for her so that she can quickly go pick up her stuff, on getting back, the rider is no where to be found. . .

All these scammers will one day be doomed

37 games is damn much to lose on like that. He won't be so lucky with that kind of games any time soon.

As unfortunate as this may look, Bet9ja isn't at fault but the bet9ja Agent...
1. If a game is coming and there is a chance it might lose, u played with 1k and there is cash out of 2 or 3 million if the owner of the bet ask for cadhout and the agent refuse, it becomes a problem as if the game eventually lose, the 2 or 3 million is gone...

2. In this case, the agents saw the game, according to them Gent fc one of the few remaining game on the ticket had a red card in the 1st half... the agent felt the game will lose cos of the red card... the agenda here knew if he allowed the game to go on and Gent lose, the 2 or 3 million is gone the chances of it coming was very low... he being a gambler too cashed out the money... Unfortunately the team with red card still won the game, meaning the game won... now with agent already cashing out 3 million... the real game owner turned up with his bet slip of 16.7 million...

3. Bet9ja checked and told the game owner his game came through... unfortunately the greedy agent he played with cashed out and they have paid him, he should go collect his money from the agent...

It's a pathetic case... Bet9ja has no case to answer... it's the agent that ducked up...

Your submission is very apt. I am very sure this is what happen. The agent is in trouble now. So this is what they do with people's ticket thinking it won't come through and they cash out without the owner of the bet being involved. .
If had it been the game didn't come through, the owner of the bet will think he lose not knowing the agent don already pocket 3M.... Human beings are just greedy...
