tonytony208: yeah; the same way obj found it difficult to solve the problem of your rebellious selves at okigwe when he handed you a life long defeat....that same defeat that has placed an emblem of self pity and inferiority complex on your lot; the same inferiority complex that makes you crave attention and recognition from MB and SS. Am certain if MB and SS reject your Igbo selves, you would have all committed suicide now out of frustration; since you won't be able to solve the problem of how to put food on your tables. Your behaviors resembles that of a 20 year old still craving for breast milk. Shameless bunch of PARASITES!!!
The occupation of Ilorin and Kogi by abokis should serve as a reminder of what awaits you soon. This time, the abokis will chase you into the Atlantic ocean.

T9ksy: I hereby reiterate a famous quote......................................" If by commission or omission, Nigeria breaks up, Yorubas are standing on their own.

We 've always believe that "Nigeria is just a term to denote a specific geographical space in west africa ". The north didn't want one nigeria, either. It was only you ibos that were chanting one nigeria even as the north was busy decimating your kinsmen in their region. Your slimy leader even went one step further calling himself, mr. pan-africanist.
You can live on your own and yet you suck the idi of northerners relentlessly the way you do? I don't believe you cheesy cheesy

Lordlexyy: The biggest threat to our collective unity remains the igbos and the hausa muslims. While the hausas use religion to kill, the igbos create disaffection among us. No one is afraid of disintegration but excavating past stories around the civil war to insensitively create disharmony among Nigerians is unacceptable. Unfortunately, only few chest beaters come online to make unguided utterance against our togetherness. If a referendum is help today, is obvious that many easterners would declined the proposed biafra. I'm more concerned about one strong, indivisible Nigeria that will some day emerge as an economic house to be reckoned with. But some paid goons, lacking in critical thinking would found occation in this trying period to draw us back. The civil war ought to have been a lesson not to start what you can't finish, but no, these unreasonable people will still go around biting drum of war. You don't heap your misfortune on someone for steering the bee nest. The Yorubas are not cowards, their resilience shows people[/s] who have forsight on our greatness. [s]Seccession would not stop the igbos from being pests to other regions.

The man Omisore is a semi-illiterate. But have you listened to Aregbesola? I have and he is the epitome of deep illiteracy. Patience Jonathan can be considered super intelligent where those two are.

whitecat007: Imbecille bolo!! How are you going to cut and get middle belt out of the north? Long throat killed million of you in the past and it's going to kill more of you this time. How come you have not gone to fight for your dear middle belt as they have been running helta skelta on their own land? Even David Mark is scared to death right now cos he's going to answer his masters for what few of his boys who are drunk on backyard brew are doing. Lets see how they will come out the tight grip to join you when they can't do anything to save their necks from weekly dagger- fest.
Did you read this below? Brain-dead chipmunk, who cares about MB when Nigeria is separated? They are capable of their independent existence, but you SWners are yoked in forever with your aboki masters

We don't need anyone to approve or recognize us since we aren't suffering from INFERIORITY COMPLEX. If nigeria divides today, we are ready to stand alone; unlike some who will die of hunger if SS and MB chase them out.
Dundy. The mention of Igbo was by Middle Belt and not the other way round. Why does Awo's free education keep ending in amala and ewedu?

Secure people are too busy enjoying their own lives and minding their own business to be bothered about what others are doing. Do you people not have your own States, leaders and challenges to talk about? Effing wannabes. Some of us come here to discuss what concerns us and we would be grateful if others are secure enough in themselves to do same. Not you lot. There is something dangerous and mentally unhealthy about how virtually all topics about the SW these days are started by folks who are not from SW States. 90% of discussants on these threads will be from outside the SW as well and contributions will be negative and malevolent mainly. You guys are not 'right' mentally . Better raise your children differently. Nairaland is now a very 'unhealthy' discussion forum because of the obsessive personality of clowns like the OP.

Consumer spending is also being boosted by Nigerians in the Diaspora who often maintain close links with home when they are away.
Mainly by southerners and especially Igbos
PoliticsRe: Count Us Out Of Threats To Southerners – Middle Belt Youth Congress by Germannig: 6:25pm On Jul 28, 2014
prophetone: The sheer multiplicity of tribes in the middle-belt is the number one reason why their attempt is a failure at birth. The weakness of the MB is

amplified by the constant ethnic wars and battles of supremacy among them e.g the never-ending Tiv/Jukun crisis which always sees each side

seeking/accepting the support of more dominant tribes. Their potency as a political bloc is also diluted by this fact as the rivalry that usually

ensues on a local level, as a result of the different ethnic group's struggle for their own to win promotes disunity and will drastically reduce

their cohesiveness as a political bloc.
I wager that in the end some MBs (especially muslim MBs) will support Hausa Fulani while others (Christians) will not. In any case something will be chipped away from the North (I mean North as a whole) whatever the scenario.. We are fighting a religious war now

Woman Escapes "Ritualist Attempted to Slit Her Throat And Cut Off Her Breast"

Woman Escapes
A 30-year-old woman, Precious Adebayo, yesterday, narrated how she escaped from a suspected ritualist, Taiwo Balogun, who disguised as a commercial bus driver.

Story culled from Vanguardngr, she boarded a commercial bus at Iyana Orile bus stop in Orile Agege Local Council Development Area, LCDA.

According to her, “it was raining at the time. The bus driver (Balogun) was alone in the bus when I flagged him down and told him I was going to Iyana Ipaja.

“He stopped, picked me and sped off. On getting to Mobil petrol station on Old Ipaja road, just before the Lagos State exams board office, beside NYSC camp, he told me that because of the heavy traffic at the Iyana Ipaja under bridge, he wanted to go through some inner streets through Orile Agege LCDA office at Arigbanla. He said he would come out close to Iyana Ipaja through Aboru junction and I agreed.”

Precious said she became apprehensive when it took the driver several minutes navigating through inner streets without emerging anywhere.

According to her, “I complained that I was afraid as I no longer understood where we were and where the driver was heading to. I, therefore, told him to drop me so that I could find my way out to Iyana Ipaja bus stop.

“But he reassured me that we would soon emerge at the expressway where I will disembark. Shortly after this, the driver suddenly stopped in a dark corner and told me that he wanted to pick up something.

“He then came down, entered the vehicle from behind and grabbed me on the throat in a bid to choke me. I struggled to free myself but he held me tightly. He hit my face, head and nose with a wheel spanner and inflicted grievous injuries on my face and head.”

“He used knife in trying to cut my neck but did not succeed. He even tried to cut my breast, but God rescued me. This happened at Canal, near Pleasure, after Sawmill.”

luck ran out on the suspect when his vehicle failed to start. And within that time Precious regained some strength, pushed open the bus door and screamed for help, which attracted people in the neighbourhood. When the driver noticed that people were coming towards them, he abandoned his bus and Precious.

However, the matter was reported to a police team at Iyana Ipaja under bridge who then radioed Elere police station, Agege. Officers from Elere Police Station then took Precious to the scene of the crime in the night and people in the neighbourhood deflated the four tyres of the bus.

Balogun was apprehended around 1:00 am the following morning, as he came back to stealthily remove his bus (unknown to him that the case had been reported to the police).

The case has subsequently been transferred to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti Yaba, where the suspect is undergoing further interrogation.
