Hian I can imagine my baby forming I don't want to sleep inside cot after all the money I wasted on it. I'd leave her in there while we practice the 'cry until you put yourself to sleep' method . I set up the play pen yesterday just out of curiosity and cuz I can't stop touching the baby things. I'd dismantle it tonight and set it up again in 5-6 weeks. Gosh these weeks are crawling

I wouldn't move out of my house yet or abandon my exams if I were you. If someone really wanted to strangle you, they would do it first before informing your husband. The person behind this probably just wants to scare you and hubby into stopping a particular behavior that's upsetting them, so for the sake of your baby and your exams, if you guys are having any issues with anyone, no matter how trivial, let it go. Be nicer to everyone around you for now, you never know the psycho behind this. Put better locks on your doors, avoid walking alone at night but don't discuss the threat in public or admit that you are scared, that would only give the psycho more power.

I'd assume this is happening cuz you must be living in a school environment, students have limited problems and threaten others for the most foolish reasons.

With my first pregnancy, I didn't spit at all, don't kw why this one is different. Even morning sickness won't let me be. I just tire.

Orbit worked for me, had to chew 24/7 through first trimester and the saliva thing finally stopped in second trimester. It doesn't work for every one tho, there was another preggie mama in my office that was spitting till third trimester, whenever she tried chewing gum it just made the spitting worse.

I wasnt circumcised and I dont see any reason why my daughters should.

Ok this is one of the questions I so cannot stand yet cannot ignore. If you let your husband circumcise your children then you have failed woefully as a mother to them, start now to tell him it's not happening. This is not even a would I could I should I issue. There is nothing neat about it, no real doctor would do it. Biko google female genital mutilation and print out as many articles as you can for your husband to read. This is like saying you want to sacrifice one of your twins to the gods because twins are a taboo, that's how archaic this circumcision talk sounds in my ear. It's an ancient tradition that we should count ourselves lucky to have escaped.

I think I read something about stopping calcium on this thread a while back, can't remember what that was about. At my last week's checkup my hospital still gave me enough calcium tablets to last until week 35, so I don't know about stopping calcium.

The doctor should have atleast checked the heartbeat or even done a scan to convince you. 4 weeks is a long time to stay wondering if your baby is ok or not, try to get a scan on your own. Me I didn't feel any movement or kicks until about 16 weeks I think, some people feel it later than that, so you might just be worrying over nothing

1. Yeah it's normal, enjoy it cuz in few weeks you won't be able to remember what it feels like to feel normal again.
2. Menstrual-like pain, tiredness and sleep is normal at this stage too, you are already feeling pregnant nah.
3. You can start ANC at 12 weeks, you can actually start now at a private hospital if you like. Also start taking your folic acid now cuz it's most needed at the earliest stages.
4. You can get your first scan anytime from 6 weeks-12 weeks.
5. Sex is ok as long as you don't have any prior history or notice any weird symptoms like spotting after it.

Just back from hospital. 3cm dilated, was asked to go home and pack my things and come back when I feel more pain. Haven't bought hospital things, this midwives in govt hospitals are scary, they shouted the life out of me and my husband. Pls whatever u do, register in govt hospital. I went to private hospital this morning and they didn't even check me just said it's not yet time, since the menstrual like pain didn't stop, hubby had to take me to govt hospital where I was checked. Govt hospital pls pls

A good coconut oil doesn't stain cloth,, that's what I have been using for my Lo since birth, no regrets so far .I have to use the Johnson range I bought so that my money will not waste.The one i heard that stains clothes is palm kern

Lol this is what happens when you go baby things shopping with someone who doesn't have a baby. I already decided to just use this first batch of Johnson's and switch to coconut oil after that, well unless I fall in love. Yeah I know palm kernel oil stains clothes, I trust my mother in law to bring that one when she's coming for omugwo

For cream just use Ori for the baby. I mixed mine with a little coconut oil. As for soap the only thing I can say is don't buy Johnson except you're sure of the place you buy it/can identify original. I use Chicco for my baby and I haven't observed any issues though it's been just a week

Would the baby still smell like a baby if I use ori cuz that baby smell is priceless. I wanted to just use coconut oil for my baby but my friend said it stains clothes and talked me into buying Johnson's everything. Powder, oil, lotion. Most of the coconut oil I see are just so roughly packaged it just puts me off, I'm thinking of making my own, used to make it some time back.

Hi unregistered teamie, you have two EDDs in April and you are still saying you ain't sure of the team yet, usually they say the earliest scan date is the most reliable. Never heard of anything being wrong with Shea butter.

Pele, pregnancy comes with all sorts of weird pains which is fair enough considering what is happening inside your body, as long as it's not excruciating and there's no bleeding, just rest it out, it would go away. Also fear aggravates some of this pain, so just kno it's nothing and take your mind off it.
