Wow I almost missed 2018, if not for my ever faithful bladder that woke me up almost 500 times to pee this night . Glad to usher you all into the new year, 2019. The year I got implants on both arms, fixed an IUD, and still used a condom for all my other room activities.

My mum commented yesterday that with how close me and Giddybaby are, am I sure I'd still have room in my heart for another female child. I want to give God all the glory, adoration and all praises. I was given 10th of this month as EDD but on 3rd my charming prince came after just 30mins of labour. God is indeed a miracle working God. Anyway I will still come back and give the full gist but now am still battling with episiotomy I mean serious one o. My baby weigh 3.5kg and use his cute head to tear my jajaina. No complication, no induction and daddy is happy. Praise the living Jesus!!!! (Drop mic)

Since 7 months or so, we just go about our normal day after immunization, no reactions at all.

It started spreading gradually from rash on the body. And a doctor prescribed benzyl benzoate ointment said its scabies but its too harsh on my baby's skin after using it once. I've stopped I m hopeless and don't know what to do.

You can go back to the doctor and complain that the ointment was to harsh, they would just recommend something else

Now I'm scared, the general hospital here said you have to pass through a general practitioner first who will first access the situation and determine if a specialist will see you, he thought me how to touch some parts of the ear for pains and so far baby girl has been good, but for a second and more professional assessment we will visit a private hospital in ikeja tomorrow.. I pray everything is fine if not my husband will put all the blame on me for loving my work more than my children... thank you very very much

Hmm that's how their frustrations drove me to a private ENT clinic at Ikeja in my own time... Don't even want to tell that story but I ended up back at general hospital.

When you get there, let them just look at the ear with their thingy first and tell you if everything is ok. Make it clear you just came for examination. If they want to do anything else make sure it's the real doctor abi owner, he'd prolly be a rogue doctor from general hospital. If it's all these nurses and baby doctors, and they want to do anything more than just examination, gbawa kwa.

I just saw this, thank God she is OK. I do not mean to scare you but pls to cross all yout t's, visit an ENT proff at a private hospital but if your mind is at rest, let it be. I had a nasty experience with my own ear that only God saved me, something the ENT took care of in 5mins. I visited a general doc in govt hosp for a week, they were just doing me trial and error, I decided to visit the specialist hospital (govt owned too), i didn't even know there was something like ENT till they showed me ENT unit. My dear, after narrating my long 1 week ear wahala, the man kept asking why i was seeing a general doc who had no idea nor the tools to look into my ear. they flushed out my ear in a matter of minutes and i felt so much relief after that.
Since then... so my sister, Your baby is too small to talk about her feelings or how well she can hear or if sounds are echoing etc. I am sure its not only pain the ENT will look out for. Again, I am not being NEGATIVE, just see someone who takes care of the ear to make sure your baby is OK.

I am so pained by the way some govt hospitals operate, its not like its a big deal if you see an ENT, afterall its your money. A woman who just recently opened a tailoring ready to wear shop in my area, she was pregnant, they said she had tummy ache and went to the hospital (govt) to complain, those people sent her back home that it was normal, no scan, no heartbeat check, nothing!!! This woman died, that was when they discovered that her baby had been dead. I am so pained, i pass by her shop for a week now and my mood changes. May God help us

The doctors are often overbooked that's why. It's not just a Nigerian thing. Specialists are often overbooked in public hospitals which makes it really difficult to see them. I've found that the key is to exaggerate your pain

I've not started jogging, I don't know if I can try that. I feel hurt most times down there and the turns and stretches these days are so painful, i can't wait for her to come out. The search for zobo have been fruitless as there seem to be only one type around "special zobo" (zobo mixed with cough syrup), let me stick to what my walks instead.

Lol I was actually kidding about the jogging, i meant walking, who can jog in this condition, me that im walking like an elephant. I didn't expect you to buy already made zobo.you should be on leave already nah, make your own. My mum made the one I'm drinking, very little sugar but plenty ginger.
