Still enjoying what's hopefully my last week of pregnancy . Still scared to do any exercise cuz the baby feels so low and some of my things are not here yet, so for now I'm just chilling and drinking zobo. How's your jogging going.
Our teamie Foreveryoung1515 needs help, NLDP says she's legit, please try and include that in the next roll call if possible.
rushingwind05: Please mothers in the house. My 2 weeks baby is having serious catarrh. Atimes she is finding it difficult to breath well. I was using silver bird but my sister said is harsh For her. I stop it. Now i'm only using Mentholatum on her. But no improvement. Please what do i do. Help me. Thanks
2 weeks old, serious catarrh? Have you gone to the hospital. Pls just go to the hospital
tatacherie: I know of a lady that sells she's in Ajah She said its unbranded though but its new and very good. She's uses it to do quick searches even Price is 16k I could give you her contact if you want
zaynie: And if there's anyway you can help foreveryoung1515 please do. I figured out her old moniker and I think she's real. But I'll advise she comes forward with her old moniker, even if it's just to say I am..... With the alternate..... It will convince people to help.
zaynie: If you don't want your kids touching your phones, best delete any form of entertainment on it, put in a password and app password too. Hopefully they'll get bored with it and ignore it. Hopefully
Okay I'm going back to IG. My new niche
I'd do this, I just need to get her something else to watch nursery rhymes on.
Chanbaby: December mamas what's happening start dropping it as it hot. Abi una wan born Shiloh and holy ghost congress babies. Giddyperson go do make u born . Our first chrristmas clothes must be worn oh.
Peng4 has paved the way, you can follow suit. I've chosen to give birth on the 16th, my brother's birthday. Which reminds me, I have to buy one outing clothe cuz he has a wedding to attend just after Xmas, he can spend Xmas in a sleepsuit, we ain't going anywhere
hunniesuzie: My life, I just bought one struggle 24k android tablet from one IG vendor (I'll look for the handle and send to you)
It comes with screen guard and a case and does the job, so far you don't intend to use it for anything other than kids stuff
My iPad heard it, they don't use to tell somebody
Biko tell me more about this Android. What is it's full name. Hubby just asked me to recommend something so he can waybill everything together. You should see fight everyday, it's like she thinks it's her phone too.
unex50: Hello mama's...na vigilante I dey so...we give God all praise.. pls I want to ask, The way mama on here describe birth through CS or ECS..You would think its beans...I'm three days post ECS and my tummy still hurts...pls for those that 've undergone this, What was your quick healing technique? ??...Below the incision still feels hard...I cleans everyday with spirit and apply coconut oil...I'm still on my pain killers from the hospital...I just can't wait for It to heal...
Birth through CS might be beans but they've always described the recovery as really difficult. I'd say don't force yourself with quick healing teachniques, especially if you have people helping you out. Just do what the doctor says, get a lot of rest and heal properly. You'd still have all the time in the world to bond with baby. Sorry.
Veektorious08: Congratulations @teewhysafe. May your princess be all you have prayed for. Sabi mamas abeg help a first time waddling mama. I am tired abeg @ 40 weeks already even past sef. I did a one hour walk today with Dh. Hospital appointment tomorrow. Ate pineapples, still na odeshi o, plenty squatting too. What else can I do ejowo.
Just keep walking, it would make things easier, even if you think nothing is happening, something is happening on the inside, the baby has nowhere else to go now than out. I had GB at 41 weeks.
Finally ported from the 29th of November to 3rd December. I had my beautiful princess in my arms by 2:02am on Monday weighing 3.68kg. It was 27hours of labour that ended in praise. FTM-vaginal delivery. We are both doing great. BS to be shared soon.
Aww. She really does look like a princess. Oh my womb. I can't wait to hold a new born baby again. Lemme go and pack my hospital bag . Congrats our ported teamie, God bless your LO
divinemandate: good evening mamas. is been long I.posted here. motherhood is not easy. I don't have house help, mother in-law or my mother. still grateful to God despite all.
please mamas I have rashes on my arms , some parts of my neck and tommy. initially I thought is because of my baby hair but the way the thing is spreading. please has anyone experience this before and what was used for the treatment. thanks
katchycouture: Alright thanks a lot ma, this climbing want to put me in trouble, the day her father saw her climb the window burglary he stopped blaming me for every wasted butter and bread, sudocream and powder... she is asleep already, I pray the pain and whatever bleeding ends there
This sounds serious. Take her to the ENT clinic at a general hospital tomorrow, let a doctor look at the insides of the ear to make sure the ear drum is not ruptured. Pain or no pain. Same as the other mama in similar situation biko. She's still a baby, there's no way you'd know if she has reduced hearing in the ear or anything.
enque: story story... better doublecheck to be sure it's not fried Ukwa or akidi that u r eating...u know say preggos-brain nor go let u see beyond the hunger
Am only staying for a few days between 22nd and 26th. Considering road trip because of the airport drama this season and also, the trip from airport to my village is about 2hrs plus. We are also about 6 in total - cost saving, even though its about 220k for a Hiace bus (to and fro).
DD was about 5weeks old when we first travelled. I will never understand her reason for crying for about 7hrs of the total of 9hr trip. It still haunts me. Time had never been so slow, almost told the pilot to park lol
Usually crazy expensive travelling around that period. For 220k, I'd just cancel the trip and pay him a 2 day visit in January But I'm Ijebu so
Many times babies just cry all tru the duration of a flight, I'd imagine that the crying gets the parent tense, and when the parent is tense, the baby can't calm down. 7 hours must have been hell.
Graced2018: Thank you so much for drawing attention to this. It is very very very vital.
I might be going to my Village impromptu for a few days. I haven't been there since my traditional wedding.
Majorly considering leaving my 9months old with my mom or mother in law, am more comfortable leaving her than putting her through the drama for flight or road trip ( she has self-weaned and she eats everything with no hassle)
Only that, its our first Christmas together and we will be apart... I dont even know how to feel about all this.
One part is saying skip the trip, another is reminding me of how much it will mean to my Dad to honor him by visiting and attending his planned family thanksgiving on Christmas day. My hubby is leaving the decision totally to me.
Travelled with GB last Christmas for my mum's thanksgiving. She was 7 months old then, we stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed ourselves. If it's going to be a road trip, better to leave her behind.
If you're taking her, it's really no big deal. Pack a winter jacket Or a really thick jacket for harmattan. Treat her for malaria just before you leave or pack antimalarial medicine and antibiotics . Don't get carried away by village life, sterilize as much as you normally would and prepare all her meals yourself. Make it clear that no one feeds her anything at all, especially the other kids. Keep her indoors as much as possible, esp mornings and evenings. Use mosquito nets or insecticide every night.
unex50: Hello mums.....I just ported into this group thank God.. pls I have a question.. Can High white blood cell count be easily treated in New borborn?? And is it common?....Thanks
High wbc is how they detect infection in babies cuz the cells increase in a bid to fight off the infection. They would usually prescribe antibiotics to treat the infection but if the infection is really bad, they would admit the baby. Either way it's really common in babies, you just have to go to a good hospital and follow doctor's advice.
Chanbaby: He is a life coachie. Here is a link to his recent interview on TVC Your view. listen to it and u will agree with me that the guy is loaded with info on parenting.
My current network is not YouTube friendly. Is he selling online copies, abi where does one get the books. Oh just found it on Amazon for 6K. But now I really wanna read it, after reading the preface.
Chanbaby: Well said everyone lets pick the lessons and apply them in our living it will help us.
Pls i want to recommend a book on parenting by Praise Fowowe . Out of the box parenting its mind blowing . It will help us to be more intentional about raising our children right.
Hmmmm.. 2008. I can't forget this year. I lost my elder brother exactly two weeks to my birthday. During that period I was also writing the Waec and Neco that got me admission and yes, I got admission to uni in 2008.
