After a fierce Battle Jehovah made a way for us. AdorablePrincess is here. She made her grand entrance yesterday 15 Dec at about 5:45pm. Mother and child are doing okay with Daddy overjoyed.

My 16th is almost passing me by. I swear I can feel my baby's big head still making it's way down. Painful some thing. All my muscles ache from climbing stairs yesterday and I'm really regretting it. I might just lie down for the rest of my pregnant days and let nature take its course

Biko when general hospitals write hot water flasks in their list, are you supposed to come to the hospital with hot water in the flask?

Good morning able mummies and rugged daddies in the house. I am awake by this time 2 am because I am seeking solution to my babies ailment.
Last week it started with vomiting then moved on to stooping and vomiting. Thank God we didn't loose her. We later rushed to the hospital on Friday, were I.V fluids were administered for days. Vomiting is no longer there, stooling is still there but not so watery anymore but there is this infrequent fever that comes and go.
I ran a test when she was admitted and result came back malaria ++ and she is teething. After some days of treatment i did another test, malaria not significantly seen. But there is the fever and not so strong stool. In my eyes she looks weak, and no longer cries her lungs out like before.
I must add that I tried local treatment just for 24hrs before reverting back to Orthodox and am not willing to go that route again.
Please help my baby.

Starting with your last question, I guess they exist but you hardly see them happen to kids of enlightened/well-to-do parents which makes me believe that they are caused by malnutrition and inadequate medical care. If they begin to actually arrest the parents that have lost their babies through this nonsense...well they can't, cuz the prisons cannot contain them.

Glad you finally took her to the hospital. You didn't mention if they also ran tests for infection, I'm guessing they must have since she was stooling and vommiting. If they didn't, you should take her back and ask for it. She got too sick before you started treatment so your post sounds like she's on the journey to recovery. Might take her a few days to get back to her normal self cuz she's been sick a long time.

My bag is still not here . since it was waybilled last week. Today they claimed it was waybilled to the wrong city and would be brought here tomorrow. I pray they've not even lost it. Xmas courier wahala. Something they called next day delivery. Today is day 5.

I have terrible cattahr thanks to this stupid harmattan with dry air and heat. Doctor prescribed Loratydine but I didn't get it cuz I thought I could tough it out for the baby. But mehn, harmattan and cattahr do not go together. I'd probably be getting the drug tonight. I don't want to have the baby with catahrr, I'm even praying GB doesn't catch it cuz she can't suffer what I'm suffering.

So yeah, still not ready, baby must remain put for four more days. . Gladly im still just having braxton hicks, no other signs at all. My last scan said EDD is today, I rebuke them.

Hope you have ironed and laid out that Xmas dress and how are the walks going. I'd start mine any day I see my bag

The marriage certificate came in 3 copies, one for you, one for the church and one for the registry. All you'd be doing is dropping the registry's copy and I think it's compulsory to drop it at the registry where you got your marriage licence. So maybe find time to go before you relocate or bring it along when next u come visiting.

Just want to send a shout out here to our very own Zaynie. She's simply awesome. I'm a December waddler, but had to wait to get some of my baby items from her (she just resumed business after maternity leave). I don't buy huggies wipe except from her. Also, got some unique original Carter body suit and sleep suits from her during my last pregnancy which my daughter is still wearing at 18 months+
Last week, I ordered wipes, body suits and sleep suits from her again and true to her words, with prompt delivery, I got my package with a huge surprise! Guess what She added a brand new sneaker shoes for my LO!
Ain't she just so kind?

I'm not complaining o, but I just want my girl to grow up a bit more. Let her be able to babysit and wash and clean and tidy everywhere fess, or at the very least be able to take care of herself and relieve me a bit.
