lmao is it by force to have issue. Just kidding. I meant to reply that post dunno what happened. There was a time I experienced the same thing. I couldn't understand why there were black stains on face towels and I even thought MIL has started putting pko in my baby's mouth again. But it turned out to be just breastmilk. Don't even know why it happens cuz it doesn't happen everytime. Maybe it depends on what one eats. I put some detergent with one cap of hypo in a bucket of water then I soak overnight, usually takes out the stain or most of it

My lo, 2mths today is having cough and catarrh. We have been to d hospital nd de gave us drugs, Still no improvement, his nose is blocked, breathing is big issue and to sleep nau is a big luxury. Dont even know how to do steaming for him. Am just so worried sick, please oo.

Sometimes once cough or catarrh kicks in you can do nothing but manage it until it runs it's course. I've been giving my baby vit C syrup daily cuz they said it helps fight infections and I don't wanna experience that cough and catarrh again. Apart from the steam thing also keep him warm esp at night. If he's the sweaty type, dress him lightly then keep the room as warm as possible. It helps their breathing. You can also put a few drops of eucalyptus oil on a towel and place it close to him, it clears nose like magic then you can suck it/use mucus extractor from time to time to give him temporary relief.

I have tried it. It is the normal pap that was dried with sunlight or whatever. It doesn't have preservative. I said so cos I made pap and dried it for days and it turned exactly like the one I bought for Shoprite.
But don't give it to your lo if u didn't make it yourself. But adults can drink the store bought type.

Is it compulsory my lo takes pap?
I read how to prepare tom brown and I think its more better being that its same ingredients and it will come out in powder form instead of stressing on soaking, sieving and all.

Are you asking for when he's up to six months cuz I don't think he can take Tom Brown this soon. Pap isn't compulsory

There's a pap factory near my former house that I'm sure their process is 100%, Zero preservatives or colouring. I see their pap in supermarkets and that's what I buy for my LO, all my cousins use it for their kids too. If it's Grandiose you saw, go ahead

So I just bought the Heinz 4months+ cereal for my foodie baby and she seems to really love it even more than pap . I've noticed she judges food by their textures and not necessarily taste cuz if u give her watery pap or cereal she spits it out immediately just like she does formula but if you make it thick, her reaction is like 'hmmm yummy'...

Is there anything wrong with making her food thick, hope it won't make her constipated.
I plan to start giving her 30ml water once a day, hope that's ok too.

The above poster has already given you good advice. Don't rent a place yet. Leave the house as much as possible. If you're a religious person, find a church and join the choir or become committed so that when you are not out job hunting, you are in the church. It musn't be church sha, just get something that would keep you out of the house as much as possible. Consider that place a place to lay your head at night.

Also avoid exchanging words with her especially where it gets to the points of insults. Just firmly refute the negative things she says to you. For instance everytime she calls you a witch or a snake, tell her that you refuse to be a witch or a snake but don't let it degenerate to insults like 'You don't have common sense' else one day you guys would come to physical blows. Ignore her when she's just being petty, it's just a matter of time
