The other day I opened a compartment in an old box of mine and found a piece of my second daughter's umbilical cord, which I had wrapped in newspaper and sealed in a plastic bag. It made me laugh so hard because the girl is five now. At the time, I had no idea what to do with the cord so I just did the first thing I thought of, wrap the stuff and shove it in a box.
It's still there, by the way, along with the cord of my three year old son ;

My DD only accepts feeding her swallow or soup with my hands...plus u have to be very fast especially with okro or any draw soup. 1 second delay isn't allowed

Hahahahahahahaha this sounds somehow like my MIL. She's a darling too but atimes comes across as too aggressive and domineering. Mine is 5am kpomkpom kpom ekpele ututu (knock knock knock morning prayers) you MUST come out o. For my first daughter I did EBF but mama nnukwu broke it without permission at 5months. I came home and met my baby gulping pap I was shocked. Guess what mama said? I don't understand all this nonsense you educated people are doing starving a child, see how light and empty she is. She isn't heavy. Moreover my bible never said don't give a baby pap and water! I was weak. But I love the woman all the same cos she's my voltron MamA has done plenty things. She gave my baby akpu at 7months. Used Goya olive oil as baby lotion instead of the boots I bought and baby broke out in rashes from head to toe. Oh yes she kills and prepares a whole chicken for me and my babies once we clock 6months just the two of us must finish it the baby gets the 2 drumsticks and I get to eat the rest.( I love this sha). She once called me and her son irresponsible parents cos we went out late at night just to flex. Phew....Plenty stories but lemme stop here. I still love her sha and I know she loves me well.

u know everytm I use to pray for giddyperson mil, she is indeed a wonderful mom, may God bless her real good, I was also in ur shoes when I gave birth to my first fruit, mil came to Lagos d day I delivered only to tell hubby I will follow her to abk when am discharged, in which he decline that we can travel with a day old baby,was discharge that evening she sleep that night and she traveled back d following morning, I was left alone with my baby cos my mom was in Ilorin wit one of my sibling that was sick that time(cos I trust my mom). thank God I scale tru that phase. God bless all d real and good moms out there.

Use spoon. My first daughter Accept feeder but his brother did not so I chAnge to spoon and now he eats on his own.

For mamas with babies that don't like bottles, not all babies like feeding bottles but you can feed breast milk with a cup, please feed gently and don't let it enter the nose.
