U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band “Topside” visited the Sought After orphanage today and performed for the children and staff as part of their week-long public diplomacy program in Lagos.

The "Topside", U.S. Naval Forces Europe’s brass band, equally performed “Waka Waka” at Beat 99.9 FM and it was an electrifying moment.

The visit to Nigeria is to support the ongoing 2019 Obangame Express.

According to reports, a said Nursery school operates in the building and the attention of the state government is highly needed urgently.

Recall that, on March 13, a four-storey building on Massey Street, Ita-Faaji, Lagos Island, collapsed in the early hours of the day, killing at least 20 pupils and other tenants, with many others injured.

"Una Never See Anything" — Soldier Calls Out Fleeing Boko Haram Fighters


Below is a clip showing the moment a Nigerian soldier made a bold step by calling out Boko Haram terrorists at a battle ground.

In the video, the fighters reportedly attacked them and while escaping, he called them back to come and fight.

Using a public address system, the soldier was heard saying;

Boko Haram make una come make we fight if una no come make we fight, we no go comot here. Una think say una get power come make we fight the fight finish

A 2 storey building has collapsed at Saka-Pena, Bode, Ibadan, Oyo state, leaving many people trapped.

The incident happened around 5:50pm, today, and the victims are currently waiting to be rescued.

According to reports, people trapped under the rubbles could be heard making phone calls crying for help while, three people who sustained injuries have been pulled out.

A middle-aged man has been apprehended after forcefully having the carnal knowledge of his cousin’s girlfriend in Osubi, Delta State.

The victim was visiting her boyfriend, today, but only met the suspect at home. She was, however, waiting for her lover’s arrival when his cousin brought out a knife and threatened to stab her to death if not allowed to have his way.

He eventually succeeded in defiling her three times and later demanded to know her account balance, which she told him was N5,000. The suspect then matched her down to an ATM booth.

Meanwhile, on getting there, the man waited outside while the victim went in to make the withdrawal and that was when she leveraged on the opportunity to raise an alarm which led to his arrest.
