I used to think same way in the past. But I came to understand that, TTC most has to do with the spiritual . So it possible that those who decide not to tell us, could have their reason. They could have been told to stay alway from relative and friends till they give birth. Am sure if I was told to do such , I will gladly do it. And you know why? Women generally, can do anything to protect their unborn child. If staying alway from my Love one's will make me to become a mother. I will gladly do it. So in conclusion, let accept whatever our TTC friends who had ported to Bfp do. If they tell us good, if they decide other wise. All good. God will not shame us all.
Happy Weekend @ All. |

sugah: Sorry I slept off.
I was asking about the dosage you posted...taking a tablet every two hours... The normal prescription is 1 tab twice daily, that's every twelve hours with milk hence my question. And vit E once daily. Yeah, it was mistake . Thanks for the clarification. |

sugah: How long ago was the SFA done? What was the result? Not withstanding, if he hasn't led a good lifestyle in the last 3 months his swimmers might not be in top shape. So I'd recommend he goes on a supplement too. Manix and vit E is a good combo. You did ma'am. Some time around may this year. This was after I posted that, what can we be using since public hospital are not attending to GYN patient at the moment. You and moniker Gbenga advice DH use the two . Thanks |

So sorry it every twelve hours not two hours.

sugah: I think the dollar affected the pricing of most of their items. But I bought the last bottle I got at medplus for 4,800... different shops have different prices. It says to take 2 caps 3 times daily preferably with food.... although I wasn't eating 3times, I still took the caps even without food. That dosage gives you almost 1000mg of Inositol daily which is great. I pray it works for you like it did for me. *Baby dust* Yeah, dollar is responsible. Amen to the prayers. |

I have gotten a replacement. Thanks for the help @ sugah. How do I take the drug, I mean the fat burner. Added 165 naira to the 3850 making total of 4015 per one. So the current price of this very brand is 4015 against the former 3500 they sale before.

sugah: Good they are going to change/refund you. I used to encounter same issues too in my own pharmacy, they always bring this one first and I insist on the other one. He probably doesn't know the composition. 3850 sounds like you bought it in Alpha pharmacy..if so, the other one isn't in the same place as this one..they kept it in the same shelf as [sup]vit b6 and folic [sup]acid etc...so you'd have to tell them to check there. Yes got it from Alpha pharmacy @ that price. At the bolded, okay I will insist on them checking it . |

sugah: Can't they change it? What's your location? I have called them now. Was told to bring it along with receipt when coming. Have learnt my lesson with this. The guy that attended to me must have been distracted. He kept saying there is nothing like Vic B6 with fat burner ,that I will have to buy each separately. Much thanks to you ma, for the assistance. |

sugah: Sorry dear but this one is different. It's from the same company but it doesn't have Inositol/vit b6 like the one I posted. so I can't use it? Does it mean 3850 is gone just like that? To think I spent a thousand naira as transport , annoys the more. Maybe I will try my luck to return it. |

[quote author=UBblessed15 post=90520529]Good day mamas in the house. This is my first post here I sincerely apologise for the long read. I need your advice,I read on this thread. I have been having a horror long week period of 8 to 10 days(tired of). I don't even know when my ovulation period.
Mama, in all honesty, I think you will need to have it remove. After the successfully removal,am sure all will perfectly be okay. I used to have heavy bleeding in the past, but after the removal. Everything is now normal. Although I still can not tell when I ovulate as well. All this best ma |

Sugargul: Fellow favored women,
I have been a silent follower of this thread. No need saying that every single comment has helped me in my trying to conceive journey. I love how you all are so supportive of one another. I am here to share the issues I had and steps I took. I believe this may be useful for someone as some of your comments were useful for me.
I had my traditional wedding in Dec 2018 and white wedding in March 2019. I was diagnosed with PCOS shortly after as we were trying to conceive with no result since traditional wedding. I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. I had been pregnant in the past and had an abortion because “we weren’t ready” then. My menstrual cycle was like a clock. Super regular! In my mind, it was either the doctor did not know what he was saying or there was an error in the result. I did HSG, turned out fine, Trans vaginal scan etc After a blood test, The doctor said I wasn’t ovulating on my own due to high prolactin (33ng). I was like which one is prolactin again? I don’t produce breast milk so what could be the issue? Doctor prescribed Bromergon and Clomid which I used religiously. I would check my progesterone on day 21 and it would say I ovulated but nothing happened.
My husband was so supportive but I could tell he wanted a child too. He had baby envy when his friends announced their wives pregnancies. His side was clear. He had no issues.
After using bromergon for a while, I went to check prolactin again only to find out it had increased to 39ng. I was frustrated. Doctor changed to Dostinex and also prescribed metformin which I started taking everyday. Still no result.
I consulted a popular pastor on my difficulty in getting pregnant and he told me I had a spiritual husband and I needed deliverance. Hmmm I didn’t make it back for the deliverance somehow.
To cut the very long story short
Me and hubby started praying together every morning (we never used to do this). We would hold hands and pray after devotion. We stopped unnecessary arguments. I felt at peace in my spirit. I had taken Clomid 6 cycles back to back and decided I won’t anymore.
Also, I noticed I don’t get egg white cervical mucus which was a sign of ovulation.
Anyway, last month I read about a particular herbal bitter called Ruzu. I really cannot say if it played a role but it’s just one of the things I tried last cycle. I bought it and took 2capful morning and night from the beginning of my period. I also got Predicte OPKs to track my ovulation. We baby danced on the day of LH surge and after. We would do just one round per baby dance lol so we don’t screw up the spermatozoa inside already
Also, I got fresh raw egg. Inserted the egg white into veejayjay before we baby danced. I read that it can mimick the natural egg white and allow the sperm swim faster. I didn’t tell husband man about this as he might have disapproved it. Anyway, we continued baby dancing after ovulation just in case.
Finally!!!! 2 days ago I missed my period!!!!
I took a PT strip and tested and saw a faint line. Did another and saw clearer lines. AF still hasn’t come. I did another this morning and the lines are more vivid. I have not seen two lines in years!!!!! I am sooooooooo happy. The prayers worked. I can’t explain it. No visit to gynea and Jesus did it!!!!
I have no symptoms yet asides my missed period as I am still early on. My breasts fill heavy and that’s all. It’s really hard to believe. God has taken away my shame. Corona perhaps paved way for this. A blessing in disguise. God is merciful!!!
I pray that the Lord who has done this for me will do yours this month!! I also keyed into many testimonies such as this.
Keep the faith. He always comes through. Congratulation. This pregnancy has come to stay. Please remember to put the rest of us in prayers. Now you can port to pregnancy thread. |

cherishyy: Those people are very insensitive. Someone greeted me this afternoon and asked how's baby and I said fine and I waka pass. Am used to such word, how is baby? At times, after I had replied the fellow someone that knows how far with me , will looked surprised. I think at times, some of those who asked might have forgotten or better still , it could be there usual way of greeting every female adult. So for them to adjust becomes issues. Not to worry, all shall become history in the twinkle of an eye. |

sugah: No need for the 'ma'
Yes please do exercise, i mentioned that in my initial reply to you. Skipping, jogging, dancing etc you can do on your own as gyms are still shut. After the juicing, you can search for ketogenic lifestyle on Facebook, the way of life will help you lose weight and correct hormones.
You'd find both locally grown and imported celery at ShopRite (fridge, fruits section). The imported one is bigger (1st pix) and obviously more expensive than the local one (2nd pix) but both do the same work. You are such a darling. Thanks sister, much appreciated. |

Did you do a HSG after your surgery to confirm your tubes are open? Sometimes the surgery can cause a bit of adhesion that still affects the tube. If you haven't, I'd recommend you do. And when they are passing the dye, ask if it's passing freely else ask them to help you pass it again to remove any adhesion.
You need egg boosters. If you can get the fat burner I posted, please do. Each serving contains 333mg of inositol, in a day you'd get almost 1000mg. Alpha pharmacy in Ikeja stocks it (3k5)...medplus also had it but slightly more expensive(4k4). Pregnacare conception also has inositol but in a low dose of 50mg/day(not recommending this)
For lifestyle change for you, try doing a green juice detox (1-3 days depending on what you can endure) my favorite combo is cucumber+celery+apple+pineapple+lemon. Normalize slicing lemon +cucumber in your drinking water, it helps give it a nice taste and makes you drink a lot of water Thanks for going details to help out. I have not carried HSG , was waiting for my GYN appointment to know my next steps of action. But the lockdown change my plans. So instead of waiting till when I can visit hospital, decided to seek advice . I will start with the supplement , same with my DH, hopefully there will be movement next week so as to get the drugs. Modified Please ma, can I introduce daily exercise to my routine ? My weight is 82 , about a month ago. Lastly, please can you help with pictures of what Celery looks like? Thanks |
