37% is very very ok. It is just standard procedure in some hospitals. Mine was a private hospital and it was 10k,although I ended up not buying.

A pint of blood as at last year was going for 11k in the general hospital I used then. Though I didn't have need for it and didn't buy. Had enough blood in my body ojare. Lol

Funny you. This people here do not want to hear if you have more than enough. Although the PCV i did gave 37percent. Maybe that wqs why.

I requested for surgery myself then because they were delaying me too. Saying nothing meaningful then than contraceptive pills , wait and watch etc which works for some people but never worked for me. Mine were cysts though. General hospital too. I guess since they aren't really after your money, they don't want to push you to surgery. Wh
en I requested for it, it was as if the gynae had been waiting for me to mention it. He swung into action and booked a date for me for surgery. Went in and came out fine, better and free by His grace. Today, belle don enter. God will do same for you.

Pls mother's can I request for surgery myself ? Have gone for appointment like three times but I don't get satisfy with how they handle my case as a patient. last week appointment was just told to do Pcv and told to bring it today.
After four hours of waiting, the Gyn collected the result and said I have to come next week for the actual Gyn that will handle my case. She said she is not the one assign for me, this is base on the name on my folder any way. So please mother who uses general hospital , is this how things operate? or I should tell them myself I want surgery . My last pelvic Scan advice me to remove the Fibroids , but it seem the Gyn are not talking about it, even though I told them the crisis that brought about this decision.
Here is my scan report
A grossly bulky and non gravid uterus measuring 129mm in AP diameter, with heterogeneous myometrial echopattern.
Huge hypoechoic masses measuring
109mm X 98.2mm
81.2mm X 83.8mm X 70mm are noted occuping the ( Fundal, mid uterine segments )and the cervical segment respectively.
The masses appear beyond the screen field of view. Etc

With the above, should I just be little bit patient or what the way forward mother's and father in the house?

Most times, they missed me with pregnant women, I have to tell them am for Gyn, so you can imagine how big the stomach look physically.

op op op, I just hope you will never regret taking that child to the village. Your story remains me of an old mama like that. This was same thing she did by taking her daughter to the village. She got married like she wanted , but the day the Young Man got to know that his wife already had a child that was hide in the village, that was the end of a peaceful marriage. The husband went and married a fresh girl who just finished secondary School and when people question him, the man use the first wife mistake as an excuse to why he married new wife. To crown it all, the child that was hided in the village grown up to love her grand ma and dislike her biological mother.

I was given a month interval as my next appointment date at Ifako general hospital.
With what I saw today, I will recommend Ifako over Ilepo general hospital. I love the cheerful look of every staff that I came accross. And I hope and pray they never disappoint there after. You mama on this thread are the world best , I love you all.

Go to LASUTH in ikeja if you are in Lagos.
In LASUTH, you would see a gynae on the very first day of your visit. Just go straight to their clinic, register, and you would see a gynae that same day.

Thanks for your help ma. Family are all saying I should go to Ifako , that they can still attend to me faster. Let hope for the best there.

My location is far I soul have recommend FMC Gusau, Zamfara state. I did mine there and I can tell you its a good place for surgery and with less than #70k, surgery and medications re sorted.

I've been to Badagry General Hospital. On my first visit, I was given a month interval but on my second visit, a month and two weeks. I was even complaining. Which one is next year again . Mama, we need to know the name of the General hospital abeg. Make person no go there warm their seat for nothing. No time to waste joor.

Mama I don't just understand. May be it not yet time for me to remove this thing? How on Earth will someone book me for next year? I kept asking the woman if she did mistake she said no. Na ILEPO General hospital oh. Someone said I should try Ifako general hospital. So by Monday we move! Just when I had decided to let go of my fear and go for the surgery see how they came with discouragement.


The scan I did else where yesterday was even almost rejected all because I did it outside their hospital. To even shock you, a lady that we later exchange contact told me she did same scan I did for 1500 for 5000 naira at the said general hospital. So please , what then is special about general hospital , if their pelvic Scan is even much more expensive.

Pls can someone recommend General hopsital that attend to patient . I mean next appointment date will not be more than two months . The one I visited today, after payment and time spent , I was told I can only see the Gynecologist NEXT YEAR , July precisely. Pls if you have information that could help me , pls don't read and pass . I beg you in God name.
