Oh @justwise. Sorry about your loss. Accept my condolences.. May God give the family the fortitude to bear this huge loss. |
You can send me a pm. dustydee: |
@Chukwuka16 well done for the detailed response to @coolcube questions. @coolcube, PLEASE do not pay to do a PhD outside Nigeria, it is crazy and suicidal to do so. Do everything within your capacity to get funding. I can guide you on that if interested. There are one thousand and one scholarship and studentship positions available (check findaphd/com and jobs/ac/uk). Also, you can write a solid, well researched proposal and target a top PI who will likely have a grant. Target schools in Australia, UK, Europe and SA as Chukwuka suggested. I repeat PLEASE do not try to pay for a PhD. It is not worth it. You will be drained by the end of your programme if you want post PhD life. Imagine, working round the clock to pay school fees, bills and you still want to publish in top rated journals. My brother, one must suffer for the other. Don't just get a PhD, get a worthy one. Above all, seek for divine guidance. Peace |
@chukwuka16, I have been following all your posts and found them to be intellectually sound and you only confirmed my thought after knowing you are an academic. Let me buttress your arguments, it is pertinent that people come up with a deliberate and organized effort to halt this drive towards authoritarianism cum totalitarianism. But trust my people, any attempt to foresee and predict the current events is termed "conspiracy theory". The few discerning minds asking questions and are wary of where the world is heading with respect to structure and control are continuously gagged. In spite of these group questioning the motives of governments to protect others, they are ingloriously tagged " conspiracy theorists". Events unfolding since the beginning of the virus outbreak has disturbed my imagination and highly unfathomable. As we continue to watch, it is germane that we are all prepared. While the chinazation of the west is becoming apparent, its northkoreanism is imminent. Fingers crossed. May we survive. |
Sorry, I just replied you. Mamatukwas: |

Welldone boss, God bless you big. |
I am tired of women and their conclusion of insecurity for a man who is trying to guide his wife from going astray and making her be a responsible wife. When a woman begin to abandon her home and children for looking good and parties then so many things is going or has gone wrong. Dear Op, if your assertions are true, just calm down and allow her do whatever she likes and be a good FBI agent. And please dont try to play games of getting back at her otherwise you won't get her, that's how the game works. Ignore her and concentrate on taking care of the children. Others please let's be guided. "Agbo ejo enikan da, agba osika ni" meaning "he who judges based on the complaints of a party without listening to the other party is wicked" I rest my case. Ire oooo |
You have actually not answered if it is temporary or permanent job. If you must go back please ensure you are given a new appointment letter with terms and conditions of employment clearly spelt out. Anything short of this, please leave immediately. Don't stay in a precarious employment please. To be unemployed is far better than to be in a nonstandard employment. softbuthard: |
@op please what type of employment is it? Temporary, contract or permanent? Were you given an appointment letter before you start the job at your first shot? How did you resign? Did you just walk away or tender a resignation letter? You need to answer these and some other questions before we can advise whether you should stay or not. |
