ositadima1: In the absence of a catalyst, it will require another 100 to 150 million units to move the price past 7. If all NSEMPA members can agree to buy 0.5 million units or more and hold without selling, we will be able to move the price. Once we move the price, the rest of the market will see it on their charts and join in. However, we should agree not to take profits until the price reaches 10 or above. Then, we can slowly start selling, and I will sell my own shares first, as I am the one who brought the idea. |

Mcy56: See below post on May 01. Had to go search for it.... Can remember also giving credit to OGG and Loco as well. The news of the Union Pay is one of the very good catalyst identified.
* Not any form of advice. Just explanation* Yes I remember this post well. Loco, I know you're reading this. Thank you for all you do again and again... I'm a fan sir . Penny stocks to the world |

onegentleguy: https://businessday.ng/sponsored/article/chamsswitch-is-certified-for-unionpay-card-issuing-and-processing-to-drive-financial-digitalization-in-nigeria-and-beyond/
Explosive news on CHAMS as it's subsidiary ChamsSwitch announces a partnership with UNIONPAY INTERNATIONAL, a Global card payment solutions provider with presence in over 75 countries and clientele of more than 180 million card users.
According to the Nilson Report, UnionPay ranks first among all card schemes in card issuance and transaction volume worldwide.
I recall advising folks to accumulate CHAMS, highlighting its solid inherent value following an extensive analysis at the time the company was still trading for 20k. ...well, the coy already prints a CGY of approx 240% with CMP closing @ 68k on Tuesday.
Does it have the potential to deliver more? There is indeed a near 1 probability!
Fundamentally, CHAMS is primed to trade above N1 in the short to mid term, with FVE/CIV pegged @ N1.37... using a mix of valuation model that assigns a conservative approach (just 5% QoQ GM to H1, 2023) but attaches a RPM 10% above current surrounding figure.
Technically though, there may be bumps along the way as certain key indicators slow down to build up/reproduce a fresh momentum for another push up. But it's safe to say that a period of HL and HH is likely in the near term.
By the way, congratulations to all those who aligned with STERLING BANK and LIVESTOCK FEEDS @ N1.4 and 92k respectively following our guide here. Both names already delivered ROI of over 160% and near 130% before the slight pull back in price.
Anyone can still earn a great return from taking position now, but like I always tell folks; It's always best to key in early. I repeatedly called for a buy in CHAMS @ 20k.
What to do now? Pls follow your instinct.
The good thing is; there are still a few coys we also highlighted here that are yet to record appreciable returns, including some select names in a certain sector which though has printed a bit of gains, still has a lot of POTENTIAL TO DELIVER MORE!
CAVEAT: NOT to be interpreted as any sought of recommendation. The need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.
Saleh @Mcy56 my reason for buying CHAMS... |

Mankindman: I wonder why investors are queuing for TRANSCOHOT. This is a semblance of FOMO. Holders of TRANSCOHOT don't sell. They are one of the most patient holders that I have seen in my 13 years of self investing. They keep pushing up the price for the elite holders. Though, the price trend is organic in nature. It follows the commendable performance by the company. Sentiment is driving more people to IKEJAHOTEL. A case of if the preferable is not available, then the available becomes the preferable. Remember, if it is not panadol, it can never be Panadol. Hopefully, there is quality and value in Ikeja hotel too. The bonus is still available for a grab, qualification date is 05/07/2023. For bonus share for Ikeja hotels? |

Meanwhile, all your answers from all the different contributors - @ymcy56, @otomatic etc are correct on DCS (Direct cash settlement) ie cscs dealing with investors directly as per proceeds from sales, and DMA (direct market access) ie ability to cancel trades during market sessions.
Investment One gives DMA so you can place and cancel orders during trading hours. However, you will need to request after your account is opened as already pointed out by one of the contributors. Please note that all customers can trade online without DMA, the only difference is that a customer with DMA can cancel a trade he/she is no longer interested in during trading hours while a customer without DMA can only cancel a trade between 4pm and 7am. What are your brokerage charges like? |

Geovanni412: Not at all, boss
I use them and I have had decent experience with them
The only issue i have with them is that I don't have direct market access
Which means each time I sell a stock, it goes straight back to my withdrawal acct ..it isn't suitable for daytrading
I don't know if they give direct market access. Would have asked of that but Nigerian market is too slow for me to bother with day trading Send a mail to your broker requesting to be opted out of DCS (Direct Cash Settlement). That way, proceeds from your sales would be in your stockbroking account instead of your bank account |
