vacanci: Trying to sell some Zenith today but having issues on MORGAN CAPITAL iTRADE
Zenith closed yesterday 21.80
trying to set a sell at 22.8 but unfortunately the limit i found on the platform is still 20.10 and so when i set 22.80, it says the value is out of range.
Samething with GTCO. it closed yesterday at 19.30 and opened today at 19.30 but the limit on the platform is showing 18.10
who else is experiencing this
yMcy56 I would have suggested you use CardinalStone App if you were their customer. You can send a mail to your broker to sell at your desired limit price |

sterlingD: I had similar problem concerning Mansard.l was told to fill another emandate form by the registrar after sending complain mails through my broker. This was after l had filled the emandate form and given it to my bank . Lucky the first emandate form l filled l had it scanned and saved in my system so all l did was to just forward it to my broker copying the registrar while my broker forwarded it to the registrar copying me. If you can scan the filled emandate form send to your broker copy the registrar and watch what happens there after Trust me, i have done that. In fact, i gave my broker both physical and e-copy |

Dum20: We are in same shoes.
I have been receiving Zenith dividend all these years but did not receive the recent interim dividend.
Called them they said the e-mandate form has changed that i should fill the new one. Did everything they requested. They stopped picking my calls and responding to emails.
They did not send notification to submit updated e-mandate form and preferred not to pay people their entitlements. Is that not robbery?
No one to caution them. These registrars are the major reason there are so many unclaimed dividend. They derive joy is frustrating shareholders till owners get tired of chasing them. I don escalate to my broker. They must cough out that money |

bfn1: Veritas showed me shege on Zenith but I weathered the storm. What's the issue & what response have you been getting from them? their nonsense response was that they had not received my mandate form from the bank after I had submitted online. I still went ahead to submit physical copy at the bank. Now they've stopped responding |

essentialone: Veritas is rubbish. Their staffs are blind
Imagine ooo
On my CSCS Statement of Account, my name is written as:
ATTAHIRU BOLANLE CHIBUIKE
The confused Veritas people say that mean my surname is ATTAHIRU. I told them my Surname is CHIBUIKE.
They said I need to go and do plenty plenty processes to do correction of name at CSCS. I told them they are sick. If the arrangement of the names is their confusion, they need to go back to Primary school. They can only conclude that my surname is written as ATTAHIRU, if the names had been written like this:
ATTAHIRU, BOLANLE CHIBUIKE
But there is no comma after the ATTAHIRU
In fact as I always say, for one reason or the other, Registrars do not want to pay dividends to investors. Registrars are the major causes of Unclaimed Dividends! I completely agree |

BigBashiru: For receiving dividends which is faster?? Sending e-dividend mandate form to the Registrar or taking the e-dividend mandate form to your bank?? I'll suggest taking it to the bank and have them upload it. I submitted mine online only for the registrars to tell me the bank had not "uploaded" same on their portal (veritas precisely) I had to go to the bank to submit my hardcopy "e-mandate" form... |

emmanuelewumi: I don't know how to explain this.
Audio as in not backed by cash. Goods can be sold on credit, and used in arriving at the profit for the business, earnings can also be manipulated. At the end of the day, it is the cash available that will be used to pay dividends.
Reason why I prefer using dividends or free cash flow for my stock valuation instead of EPS...
Ideally the difference between the EPS and free cash flow should not be more than 10%.
I prefer situations whereby the free cash flow is even more than the EPS, as observed in the annual reports of some companies This |

Jochez15: I learnt everything I know about NSE on this trend. Although I still have issue with valuing the right price to pay for a stock. Well, on deciding on valuing the right price for a stock, what I do most times is that I pick a particular stock I'm interested in, look up the price of the stock for the last 1 yr to determine whether the current price is on the high or low side and the potential spread i can make should I decide to sell the stock (after comparing the current price of the stock to the highest price it had gotten to). Hope this helps |
