Let the game begin but by the way....

I was standing, he was walking in from the theatre door. My heart suddenly somersaulted and went up and down I thought it would fall out. He was very tall, fair skinned, nice smile and handsome face, he's a doctor. A very very cute one.

Never knew a doc could be this fine, I saw him today again and my heart contracted against my ribs.

What's happening, never happened before. embarassed

I'm not the type of girl that admires a guy, never. If you're fine then what's my problem, I look then walk away. This is new, my heart was pounding and and my throat got tight.

But if he talks to me I know I won't look at him for anything. He was looking at me but I pretended not to see and walked past him. It's not shakara o, I'm just like that. Anyway I'm not looking for anything and Maybe cos I'm introverted. huh

He's fine sha. Awwwww.

This is My water leaf farm. you can use only the water leaf without the honey if you want. What you do is grind the water leaf( or use the bottom of a cup and smash it) to a smooth paste and apply on your face for 30 minutes then wash off.

@ Intrepid01 ,don't use your dettol soap, it's too harsh. Use johnsoap milk baby soap and that vasline I'm using.

I haven't done it this incredible wonderful water leaf for 2 weeks now cos I'm tired and lazy sometimes embarassed. But I would tomorrow, it works, don't over look it.

Benefits of water leaf. use everyday to see results

Intrepid01:
Hello Madam.....did you see my previous mention after your response mention to me?
I saw it last night but my phone was down, I just charged it not quite long ago.
So I'm gonna show you what I've been using all this while since I'm not using soap and cream on my body. Some natural ingredients I've tried worked well, but you need to have patience, plenty of it cos it took me 3 months to see any improvements.

For the main time, I use vasline on my body and face and it doesn't give me pimples and doesn't darken me.

This is the list of what I have used on my face and all over my body when I bath which is laborious. There were time I got tired but the thought of going back to chemicals gave me lots of patience needed. grin

quaker oat : the best, it lightened my skin and made it soft and bright. I used it all over my body as soap, it's now expensive and I can no longer purchase it as it cost 800 naira per can and it doesn't last more than 2 weeks.

honey : it darkened me but made my skin soft anyway, it doesn't cure pimples.

rice flour : you get it from rice, all you have to do is to grind it to a smooth texture, then there is your rice flour. It has whitening properties and fades black spots. I used it with milk on my face and body but it bleached me. huh It made my body fair and kneels dark.

milk : made my skin looked so so soft, nice texture, I mixed it with honey and it faded some spots on my face.

sugar : now this is my best, no trouble getting off, you don't have dirt all over your bathroom. Slides easily with ease, cleanses the skin thoroughly like a soap. shocked. I started using it 3 days ago, I use morning and night as my soap.

What I do is grind it to a smooth texture, then water my body and face then apply and scrub with my hands. It is quite a lot of work but I ain't stopping for anything.

So my over all advice is, listen to your skin and use what works for you. For fading of scars, use honey and milk on your face. For scrubing, use sugar and milk. Use everyday to see improvement or else you are wasting your time.

Below are my before and after pix of my homemade paste. Water leaf and honey, makes your skin soft and bright. And also my vasline. It's only half of my face showing, don't want nairaland pipo to chop me. grin

your regime should be : in the morning scrub face with sugar leave for 10 minutes then wash off.( I don't use soap, this is basically my soap so it depends if you want to use)

In the night :honey and milk, apply on face leave for 30 minutes then wash off before sleeping and moisture your face with a good moisturizer, not body Cream undecided. Vasline would do. Try to get this particular Vasline, it doesn't give me pimples and use sparingly, that is, little on your face don't pack it, use your tip of finger. Hope it helps. And remember, all you need is patience and lots of patience, use every day smiley

First picture: my vasline
Second: my water leaf and honey paste, I use every morning (sometimes I get lazy)
The third: still got some pimples on my forehead on two months of my natural journey. But now all cleared.

Sorry for the pictures, I'm shy so I cropped my face out. grin

If you have any questions, I'm only but a mention away. Have fun.

Intrepid01:
Hey Ma'am,

Could you please expantiate on this part ....try by scrubbing your face with sugar.

..........is there a ready made sugar exfoliating cream?

I'm very much interested.

Thank you.
No there is no ready made sugar exfoliating cream, all you need to do is buy granted sugar which is sold locally and everywhere.

It is sold for 10 naira, after purchasing, wash your face with water then apply sugar on the wet face gently. Don't apply pressure when scrubbing as if you're washing a back of pot cheesy

Be gentle while at it. Do it 3 times weekly to see results. It helps curing pimples, keeping your face oil free and supple. I've not use soap on my face for 3 months now( I've used a lot of natural ingredients like honey, rice flour, water leaf and milk but the most effective for me now is SUGAR). And by the way, which cream and soap are you currently using?

I would recommend you should use a baby soap (like jonhson milk soap, 800 naira), I would have recommended you use the cream also but it gave me pimples so I don't know if you gonna react. Johnson is mild and free from too much chemicals, It won't darken you but help in maintaining your colour

As for a body Cream, try to see if you can get St.ives body lotion, there are many varieties, see if you could get the one with vitamin E. It's a moisturizer to keep your skin healthy and I've used it though it was the one in blue or something.

Remember, sometimes it doesn't matter if our skin is fair or black, what matters is whether it is healthy. I used to be a product junkie and would used any cream and soap I thought was good little did I know I was doing harm to my skin.

I've not used soap or cream for 3 months now and my skin is healthy, fresh and the most important, keeps me from environmental toxic which was the reason it was created in the first place.

If you wanna know how I keep my skin soap free and soft without any cream, you can always ask. Take care. wink

Thanks for the good work.
I will really be grateful if you and other experienced people help me.
my problem is causing me depression
and low self esteem. Am naturally fair in
complexion!! Yes from my childhood picture
and my mums word. I remember when i
had to scraped my hair off as one of my
new years resolution my head was fairer
than my body!! Extremely fairer that i had to
wear cap and hats to cover it up.But am very
dark like black with a discolouration on the
side of my face!! And its darker than my
face. I will try as much as possible to state
the creams have used and their effects
reason why i stoped so you can help me.
1. Bio-clair but it brought me eczema.
2. Vaseline petroleum jelly it increased my
pimple and made my face extremely oily
which i hate.
3. Cocoderm. Same with vaseline.
4. Cocoa butter. Same problem with vaseline.
5.skin clinique i stoped because after 2
weeks its cloged my pores and gave me
pimple and discoulartion.
6.vaseline resilient skin fpr men. No changes
on my tone.
Am beginning to hate myself. Have been told
miss cherie. But i dont wanna risk it again.
I stay indoors stupidly unless something
very important like academics and hustle.
Am ugly. Sometimes when i see my edited
and extremely cute pics. I just know am
good-looking. I need help from people with
experience to a good cream.
Please help me.
Am planning to get a cream tomorrow.
But i dont know which one to.
Please quote me so i can get the reply.
Thanks
Awww, so sorry about your skin story. I think you need to let your skin breath a little. For your face, you need to exfoliate to remove dead skin off.,, try by scrubbing your face with sugar.

White sugar exfoliate to reveal fresh and smooth skin. Don't use harsh chemicals, use a baby soap and baby lotion your skin will gradually heal itself.

Hope it helps.

I don't know if this relates to this thread but saying Nigerians are hypocritical, not me. Let me be naughty for a few seconds so pardon me.

I love kissing, I can kiss for the whole of Africa. Nothing moves me on like kissing a well shaped attractive sexual lips, believe me, it's a job that does not bore me. cheesy

I like seeing people kissing, watching t-boss and miyonce kissed was fun So I wasn't hypocritical.

Hmmmm, confession section over. Hope I didn't shock anyone, I'm human after all. Just confessed one of my addictions, now I'm "shy.

Whenever I look at bally I smell a rat........ something fishy he wanna hide and later on unleashed.

Bally bring it out now or forever hold your peace. Like play like play he might win this thing o, like wendall (I don't know if you can remember him) he won besides karen in the BBA last 3 years.

He shares the same trait with Bally, both are quiet and seems introverted. no one saw wendall as a threat till he won alongside karen.

This Bally, I'm looking at you one kind like.....
