I thank God for giving Whyna the inspiration to create this group. This is actually one way the youths can use IT to better each others lives. I successfully registered for my online Ielts exams today for 31st of October test date. The online tin works u jst av to knw how to go about it. I registered with GTB master Card. Buh I av a question to ask. Iv been sent the confirmation mail stating that I av entered into contract with them. I have printed my application form and online reciept. Please what's the next step I'm supposed to take. Please guys help a bro.

In my opinion, univ of saskatchewan, since Mcgill is much more highly rated than it. But if you have a very high CGPA, you can give it a try.

Please u guys shd be very sure of information b4 u spill it out in Public. Gimbar Umar was first in Channels before he moved to Tvc and den back to channels same goes for Olumide Macauley. I think its an agreemnt btw cannels mangement and Tvc to train Tvc's own staff.(Not so sure though) Chainberlain isn't Igbo, he is from Eket in Akwa-Ibom state.

The company isn't d one sponsoring me. My Bro is sponsoring me. I'm not yet entitled to a leave. So since I cannot present a study leave letter, can the other documents cover for it and wud dat affect anytin?

Pls guys I av an option to choose btw applying to University of Saskatchewan and Mcgill University, which of these do I stand a higher chance of getting admitted. Secondly I was told that I do not need to present a study leave letter dat letter of introduction fro my work place is enof buh I still av my reservation abt dat though. Pls guys respond

Gurus in the house please help me out on dis one. I'm a civil servant and I plan to apply for a TRV to do a masters degree in Canada. I'm abt to be confirmed though buh I'm not yet qualified to be granted a study leave cos I need to av been in service for atleast 7 yrs or there about but iv jst spent abt 3years in the Job. The implication of this th4 is that when I'm gonna be applying for Visa, although dia may be a letter of introduction from my employer introducing me as a bonafide staff buh I will not present a study leave letter from dem cos I'm not entitled to it. Also my Dad and possibly my elder sis will be my sponsor and I will be abt slightly over thirty years during d period in which I will be applying, hope dis variables won't affect my application. I jst wana get tins set b4 I fire my application. Guys I wud appreciate ur inputs.

Now for the sake of the newbies, please forget this online stuff. It's cheaper yes but WHAT IF you aren't soo lucky? The anxiety of writing IELTS is enough, so y would you want to add the payment procedure? Besides, British council doesn't pick calls or reply mails on time so y put yourself through all that.

If you can go to the bank and make a bank draft and take to their office, please do. It will save you a lot of things.

If you still wanna pay online, good. You may be lucky

im really becoming skeptical about registering this stuff online. I think i will consider the manual approach.

Infact after doing extensive research in the last two days, I have discovered that my IELTS result is more than perfect for another purpose similar to what I initially intended to use it for, Just a different country. I just have to redirect my plans. I've been having serious doubts about U.K anyways. I think I'm gonna be fine.

It appears this scholarship is not opened to postgraduate students or what? i intend applying to Mcgill

In filling the ielts registration form,there is a place that asks for the highest level of education of the candidate, i dnt wanna put my masters cos i intend using the result to apply for another masters program, i hope it doesn't affect anything if i just fill in that i have an undergraduate degree as the highest level of qualification. Gurus in the house, please assist.

Eyah, Very Nice result though. Dont give bro, im sure u can still make use of this result for something else. U cant back out now that uv gotten this far. Remember the saying that " Many of life's failure is as a result of people who gave up witout realizing how close they were to success". so i wana encourage u to fight on.

Hello house, please how do i get to national theatre from Ojoto or Ikeja with public transport.

It is my ielts centre.

From Ojota or Ikeja, take a bus to Ojuelegba and den fro Ojuelegba, take a bus to Ijora/Costain and stop at either Costain or Brewery bus-stop. Natinal Theatre is just to your left across the road beside Covenant Christian Centre.

Going to Mcgill and UToronto... Its a lot of competition getting into those 2 schs as they are the to 2 schs in canada for now. Not saying u can't get them, but you would need to have a very strong academic stand, a very good purpose of intent, and a nice referee, majorly from ur supervisor in school, or a prof that taught u while in sch. I made a first class, and was not admitted at McGill, same wit anoda friend of mine, first class, and was rejected at first at UToronto. So, you need someting special, just as stated above to get this 2 schs. All d best

Do it,it will be of help. Don't panic.

Bro iv tried yet experiencing the same difficulty. I think i may just have to wait a bit more to see if they would display October dates on their page cos if what im thinking is true, maybe they want the spaces in September to be fully booked before they can display dates for subsequent months. By the way is dia any body in the house that have been able to register for October exam date here? 31st of October to be precise. cos the pix i munched is what mine is showing me.

Just choose your test location first and see availability. That's d first thing to do. It will help u know whether that centre will be writing that month. And which site did u use?

"Sorry, but there are no IELTS tests available for your chosen criteria. Change your criteria and search again". So I even tried to type in General as type of exam evn though dats not wah I wana do yet same response. The fact now is that I have my money ready and I wana book my exams for the last sat of Oct.
