This morning, Nigerians woke up the explosive interview of Timi Dakolo's wife, Busola's where she accused clergyman and COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, of raping her multiple times.

According to Busola, she was a virgin when the pastor allegedly raped her at 17. She stated that after he had allegedly raped her inside her mother's living room, and Pastor Biodun told her she should be happy a man of God was the one who took her virginity.

Six men, who allegedly broke into the house of a judge of the Lagos State Judiciary, Justice Mariam Emeya, and stole jewellery worth N 30million, have been brought before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos.

The defendants are Mujaudu Alawiye, 59, Achrigbo Sunday, 20, Emmanuel Frank, 23, Akintunde Jude, 28, Adeniji Bashir, 18 and Boniface Nneji, 52.

They are facing a four-count charge, of conspiracy, breaking and entering, and stealing preferred against them by the police.

Prosecuting Inspector Edward Abiodun told Magistrate O.O Oshin that the defendants committed the offences at about noon on May 28, 2019, at Ajah, Lagos.

Abiodun alleged that the defendants burgled the judge’s home and carted away several pieces of jewellery.

The court heard that the stolen items include: four sets of gold bangles, one set of small bangles, one big gold chain, one small gold chain, four gold rings, three sets of gold jewellery, four sets of gold earrings, four sets of gold pendants, two gold hand chains, all valued at N30million, property of the judge.

The offences, the prosecutor, added, contravened Sections 411, 307(a)(c) and 287 (5)(f) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

Each defendant pleaded not guilty.

Magistrate Mrs O.O Oshin, granted the first and sixth defendants bail, in the sum of N100,000 each and the second, third, fourth and fifth defendants N300,000 bail each, with two sureties each in the like sum, among other conditions.

The case continues on July 3.

The police in Imo state have arrested 70 year old Pa John pictured above for allegedly defiling a five year old girl in Mbaise on June 14th.

Activitist and leader of Behind Bars Initiative, Prince Emefiena Gwamnishu, who shared the story online, told LIB that the accused was caught inside the bush having intercourse with the little girl.

A palmwine tapper caught the old man lying on the girl inside the bush. The old man pleaded with the palmwine tapper not to tell anyone. After the incident, he fled to Abia state to hide. When we got the infirmation, I went with my team to Mbaise to see the chiefs and we mapped out a plan to get him arrested. He was told that my NGO was in the community to see how the matter can be settled without involving the police. He fell for it and came in yesterday June 25th. He was arrested immediately and will be charged to court tomorrow, June 27th''.

Harrison said the suspect is currently in custody at the Divisional Police station in Mbaise, Imo state.

A 30-year-old Nigerian man was on Friday, sentenced to 30 years imprisonment for trafficking 56 pellets of Heroin Hydrochloride, weighing 947.57 grams, into Tanzania.

Judge Sirilius Matupa of Tanzania’s High Court for Economic Corruption and Organized Crime Division, said he was satisfied by the evidence produced by 11 prosecution witnesses.
